Banchetto Feast - Nanuet
Quality of the food and service was very good. The fried calamari was tasty but the portion was very small for what they charged. Fish selections were very pricey. Linguine and white clam sauce for $26.95 was also pricey. Open Table states that the price of entrees was $30 and under. While true for most selections, it ws not true for about 30% of the selections.
Consistently excellent. Great service and presentation. Recommend highly for celebrations
Just right !! We were pleased with the food, service and general quality.
The good part - the garlic knots were excellent. We requested more and got them. The bad part - the rest of the food. The sauce on the eggplant rollatini was too heavy and there was too much of it. I ordered a Ceaser Salad. The dressing was too heavy also. The service was very good and the restaurant was quiet but we were there on a weekday at 1 pm. I don't know what the noise level would be like if we were there with more people.
Great food and knowledgeable servers. Very beautiful restaurant.
All our food was REALLY good - hot appetizers (calamari was /delicious/perfect), salads were good, pastas were fabulous!
A group of friends and I get together 1x a month for dinner. We chose Banchetto as it looked beautiful online. The food was fantastic but I feel like the waiters were rushing us through our dinner. Food was still on our plates and they would come over several times asking if we were done and if they could take our plates. We had made a reservation about a month in advance so I am not sure if a big group was expected to come in etc. but I just got a uneasy feeling of being rushed out.
We had a great time celebrating a hs graduation. Large serving sizes and excellent food!!
The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. The owner, Eddie, was circulating around the restaurant speaking with diners to make sure everyone was having a good experience.
What a gem of a restaurant!
If you try the garlic wings you will become addicted immediately.
Pasta al dente
Huge variety of options on menu. Unique items also.
Service staff very accommodating.
A definite return customer here.
GREAT FOOD but we had a very slow service night. 3 hour dinner. Will try again another time.
Soggy overcooked lobster tails over soggy overcooked linguini, far from al dente as the menu brags, service was friendly, wife's order was totally wrong and then replaced with an equally poor replacement...crostini with diced shrimp with garlic butter sauce is ruined when served on thick slices of Italian bread rather than crostini which is thin TOASTED slices.
food is fantastic! server was great! nice atmosphere. plan to come back
staff go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy. we asked for an item that was no longer on the menu. it was better than ever!
As usual the service was wonderful. We thank you for always being so nice to us. The food is always fresh and delicious. All reasons why we keep coming back.
Always our favorite! Great food, great service and great atmosphere!
Service was excellent. Food was very good.
My two friends and I made reservations for NYE. The three of us have not previously dined at Banchetto Feast, but when we had NYE dinner here, we enjoyed everything! The food and service was great! The prices were reasonable for a NYE dinner. We will definitely be returning in the near future for another girls night out. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for making out first dinner at Banchetto Feast enjoyable!
Restaurant was so busy on Christmas eve, and had to wait awhile for our main course, but the staff were fantastic and totally made up for the wait. Food was excellent and prices were decent. Would definitely go back again!
We went for a Christmas luncheon with my family (10 people). The service and food were excellent. I’d definitely go back!
My wife fish was cold. She was disappointed but we had guests and she didn’t want to send it back because I had already sent my salad back for no nuts or cheese.
I had arranged to meet relatives at a mutual location which would be a halfway point in driving distance since we live an hour apart. I went on the web and looked up the 10 best restaurants in Nanuet. Branchetto came up with a 4.3 out of 5 rating with good reviews so I booked it.
All I can say is... The wait staff is very attentive, the food was fabulous and Eddie the owner oversees everything, and I mean everything ! He stopped at our table and introduced himself, knowing we were first timers. He gave us excellent recommendations from apps to entrees. He came to our table 6 times throughout our 2 hour visit there to ensure we were completely satisfied with everything. Eddie is definitely a class act and I would recommend this restaurant hands down ! I will def be back. SEE YOU SOON EDDIE !
We went there for a post- Thanksgiving lunch with my parents. We all enjoyed our dinners and were not rushed at all. Definitely worth going!
Had not been there in quite a while. The feed was very good as we remembered. However we were a bit surprised by the current prices, especially pasta dishes which I felt were 30 to 60 percent higher than other restaurants in the area whose food was comparable.
Place was pretty much empty. I feel like they have great nights. And maybe weather was taking it off.
Water tasted funny.
Breadstick garlic knots were nice and hot.
Prices seem to be higher at the restaurant than what I feel like I see here. OT might have an old menu and it’s self uploaded. And or the prices aren’t listed here. But I though let it was listed as less expensive then when we got there. So we didn’t eat or drink much to offer more food critique. I wanted a neighborhood Italian spot by the movies which is why we choose this. It’s in a mall parking lot.
Food was ok. Chicken parm was average. Some kind of Panko style breading. Mozz cheese wasn’t really melted and the pasta and sauce was not good. There is no way that was home made or any owner of true Italian restaurant would allow this gravy out of their kitchen. Do better.
The desserts looked delicious. Just too expensive for what we were looking for.
Salad was large and good. Little much on the onions. But very large portions.
The place looks like a small Italian wedding venue. Split into rooms and just get like I was at a food hall venue. Very large booth for 2 people.
Overall. I don’t think I’ll be going back. Prob a really great place for a party or event. It seems priced to that style.
Have been coming here for many years. The service is always wonderful and the food is excellent. My only complaint is that the prices have increased significantly and that matters when you bring a family of 7 for dinner, which I no longer do. Instead I now come alone for lunch with a group of friends.
Surprisingly enjoyable experience - maitre’d did a nice job.
fish is always excellent, food is always freshly prepared and delicious. Eddie (owner) always walks around to check on each table and the diners to make sure everything going well. EVERY SINGLE TIME that I have been there, the pasta is always perfectly al dente. that is a magical science to be so consistent. my friend had the lamb chops with risotto and said it was better than she had ever had before. the angus meat balls are terrific. service is attentive. the tables are booths are spread out enough so that you can have private conversations and not feel like sardines. all in all, top notch in our book for many years!
Weird location outside of The Shops at Nanuet but AMAZING food! Don’t be fooled by the surrounding area!!
The scallops appetizer was outstanding and we ordered Banchetto chicken, tilapia and chicken in francese sauce everything came or hot and delicious
Lovely dinner with good friends! Food was delicious, service was good, I will recommend this restaurant to friends!
Great place , love the food always . Service gets slow down after the main course , no quick service for dessert order and gets a little slow on getting the bill . But love it still.
Waiter was nice but service was super slow. They made a mistake on two of our orders but were able to fix the problem in a very timely manner.
The food and the service were excellent..I ordered a Bone-In-Ribeye that was as good as any Steakhouse in NYC..My friend had the Lobster Tails which were also very good..
I will be going back very soon...
I never cease to be amazed by the friendliness of the staff. The food is consistently good and
specials and additions to the menu are creative. My wife had the Pork chop with a sauteed pear
not only looked but the flavor was exceptional.
We'll be back
Have been going here since it opened in this location. Food has been without equal.
I have had fish in various dishes, have always been more than satisfied with the presentation
and taste. The portions are generous.
Alway great food
What a wonderful and friendly environment with a great menu of fresh made delicious Italian dishes, We were looking for a convenient location after a movie in Nanuet and through the Open Table app we found this great Resturant. The hostess, Amanda was especially helpful guiding us to the place as our GPS was unclear and took us further down Main . We met the owner, Eddie who could not be prouder of this remarkable place! The restuarant was full but the staff really knows how to handle a full house. Everyone was very efficient and friendly. We saw several other plates being served that we would try on another visit. Deserts are exceptional!
2 year anniversary lunch and everything was amazing ! Food surpassed all expectations and it was so quiet and cozy for the occasion. Did not have the opportunity to have dessert but do guarantee it would have been just as amazing as the meal.
