Enjoyable family meal. convenient for Euston station.
Authentic Vietnamese food! Having grown up with my Vietnamese parents' cooking I've naturally been quite critical of Vietnamese restaurants but I can happily say that Bang Bang passes my test! Really aromatic, authentic flavours in all their dishes but particularly the pho. BB says they cook it for 18 hours which I can believe - so much more flavour than other Viet restaurants out there.
The food is very very good!!! Nap buns are the best! Not the best place for a conversation though and relaxing dinner. It’s usually packed and someone would probably constantly kick your chair when passing by.
Good, but could be better
Great lively place, great food and good for a quite bite and drink.
The food was fresh and tasty, the menu options immense. The staff were attentive when needed but let us sit and chat for quite some time after our meal despite our minimal spend.
We will be back again soon!
Lovely food and great location! Service was quick and simple, waitress was friendly and helpful too.
We arrived over an hour late with 10 instead of 20 people but Bang Bang accommodated us with grace and professionalism. Food was great, quickly served and hot. Service could have been a little more attentive but they were very busy
Nice food. The waitress actually got my order wrong so instead of getting squid as a starter I got fried chicken and but in fact it was very tasty. Good quality pho, could have a little bit more depth of flavour. Service prompt, lots of general chatter around. Good for eating simgly or in groups.
Excellent food and very helpful staff dealing with a booking for 15 people without any problems.
Love this place for a casual dinner or lunch. Buns were good, but a bit to “saucy” for me. The pho is fantastic. I especially love the spicy version—actually spicy enough to be called spicy!
Excellent as always
The focus was entirely in the food and that was excellent
Food is always tasty, but they always run out of salted caramel ice cream. Hasn’t been there the last 3 time’s I’ve been. Apart from that, all good.
Great food, great atmosphere. This is the second time I’ve eaten there and both times it’s been great
I love Vietnamese cuisine and this funky place is a great choice.
My husband and I love Vietnamese food. It was our first time here, though. Normally we opt for a Pho soup, but this time decided to try the Bun Hue Soup...and we were not disappointed! It was so incredibly spicy and tasty - we both loved it!!! We also shared some Salt & Chilli Ribs, which were truly amazing! We will definitely be back :-)
Great food and good value - convenient location too!
Food was above average but service was very poor. Food was brought out before drinks, orders were taken incorrectly, tables were so close together we ended up leaving as the single person on the table next to us may as well have been part of our table and could hear everything.
It was really nice lunch bite before going to theatre with friends! Never eat or even try vietnamese cousine and it was nice good suprise. We order all sort of things from spring rolls, salads, curry, pho. It was just tasty and fresh. No doubt we will visit place again!
Really great food and service, especially the Bao and summer rolls.
Super super tasty food! and served really fast! Really reasonably priced for London too
Overall, a bit disappointing as I’d eaten great pho lately. The vegetarian pho was a bit lacklustre in terms of flavour which was a shame, especially when the broth was supposedly brewed for 18 hours.
The meat-based food may well be more flavoursome, though. Cool place but needs more welly!
Awesome meal in an awesome place. Bang Bang bangs with excellence.
BAO buns were immense. Main course was nice but not fantastic as lacked in taste a bit. Service was efficient rather than friendly but overall it seemed good value!
Still one of my favourite Vietnamese in town.
Not as good as previous visits: the room was swelteringly hot on a warm day with no ventilation, and some maintenance works meant a huge hole in the pavement blocking the door! Some dishes were as delicious as I'd remembered from a previous visit, but some missed the mark a little this time.
Another very tasty meal at Bang Bang. I love this place. Quirky and basic setting but delicious food and great value for money.
Very good place to have the fresh Vietnamese food! Inside is very noisy and crowded at dinner time.
Great food and good service bar one main came out 10 mins after other three.
Food was good. Duck spring rolls could’ve used a little more duck, bao was great was was the noodle dish.
Cool spot to grab a bite.
Really enjoyed the food, the dining experience and the buzz of the place
First time eating here and was impressed with the food (lovely ‘zingy ‘ salad with my beef) and the atmosphere inside.
Very reasonable pricing too.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered our food and it was ready within 10-15mins.
Food was ok but not amazing. A bit too much onion in this vietnamese (I usually go to the ones on the Kingsland road in Hackney). Service by the lady was a little abrupt.
The food was amazing.
We had the pho and the baos and all were amazing.
Great food but awful service. I booked a table weeks in advance for 3 of us for 9 P.M. One of my friends got there before us and was told on arrival that the booking was for 8. He disputed and proved this by showing the booking email. Of course due to the incompetence of the staff there were no dining tables now available (in the booth) so they gave us the “cheap seats “ in the front. This is the absolute WRONG way to treat paying customers when the fault lies with the establishment.
No sooner had we sat down than the waiter was pushing us to order and this continued throughout- they even brought the bill before asking us if we wanted to order dessert
Sure the food was great but they really treated us poorly . They couldn’t honour the booking correctly and rushed us throughout. Terrible place - no recommendation from me
Hi, We are sorry to hear of your bad experience. It was indeed our mistake for getting the time of your reservation wrong and I have already asked the staff to be more careful next time. As for the 'cheap seats' I'm afraid it makes up 70% of our seating as it is meant to be casual dining and I can only apologise if it's not your preferred style of furniture.
You can always rely on Bang Bang for excellent food - the bao are delicious, as are the noodles on offer. Was also really impressed with the service - they were great. We brought a birthday cake in, which was totally fine - plus they were nice enough to pop a candle in for us
Service was great and friendly. Ambiance was good. Food was a little lack luster I found, but that could have been because we were in a bit of a rush/I chose the wrong dish.
I am gluten and dairy free. Instead of flicking through a folder to find a dish I could have, it would be great if allergens could be marked on the menu :)
I would go back - but with a little more time to enjoy the food and flick through the folder....
Food was ok, a bit average compared to other Vietnamese little restaurants. The place has a nice casual atmosphere. There was a mix up with our order, but other than that it was fine.
