I booked a table for my boyfriend and I for his birthday. This was our first time here and we loved it! As soon as we got there for our reservation, we were seated immediately. The ambiance was perfect for date night, candle-lit, fresh flowers on the table, and it wasn't loud. The steaks were very tender, perfect temperature, and very well seasoned - you would not even want steak sauce for it! The servers are very attentive with the drinks. They always topped off our water glasses and our wine glasses and they store the bottle in a cold wine chiller. Since I booked it as a birthday, I left a note if they can surprise my boyfriend with a dessert so I would not have to ask while we were seated and enjoying our time. I even completely forgot about it and I was surprised too when it was served on our table. They gave us a complimentary slice of a delicious truffle royale cake with fresh berries on the side. Absolute amazing experience! We will definitely come back! 😊

The steak was meh, the presentation of the food was meh, and the facility itself was meh...starting to look run down. It wasn't bad per se, just...meh. This would be all be acceptable if the prices were commensurate with the quality, but this place charges premium prices. A 10z NY was $65, but it was worth maybe $35 at best. You are honestly better off going to the Keg. They are cheaper, food is better, the restaurant is better/cleaner and they aren't as expensive. Service was good but who cares when the food is overpriced. Don't recommend.

Having dined at Bardi's again last evening, and having done so over many years, I have once again been overwhelmed by the service of Jamie and the rest of the staff, the quality of the food, the wine selection, etc, etc. I would recommend Bardi's anyone. It is a must visit!!!!!!! Ric Ross

Was frustrated when we arrived as it was a few minutes before someone came and asked about our reservation. He said just give me a few minutes as he looked around. I then watched him spend the next 5 minutes delivering food to tables. There were three open tables in the front area - two required cleaning. He was still confused when he came back to deal with my party. Another gentle came up and said he would look after us. It took 10 minutes after our reservation time for us to be seated.

John the server did a wonderful job as did the gentlemen who was teamed with him and whose name I did not catch. Service was excellent. I believe the mixed greens salad could have been a little more generous given the price and the dressing was devoid of any acidic component and salt. It seemed to be only oil and garlic. The greens were crisp and fresh however the small portion was not in alignment with the price charged. The steak was prepared to my liking however again without the flavor one would expect from an establishment that is know for its steaks. The paired baked potato was piping hot and ample butter and sour cream and chives were provided. I will definitely visit again however I will temper my expectations for my next visit. Once again I must iterate that John and his team really did a wonderful job and truly will be the main reason to visit again.

To start off the ambience of the restaurant was amazing and me and my partner came at time when it wasn’t to busy and we got a nice little corner to ourselves upstairs which was amazing. Our server Sean was the absolute best and did an outstanding job checking on us and his personality was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The food was also amazing everything seasoned just right with our steaks and we enjoyed every last bite. Definitely coming back!

Great quality of food. Service was top notch. Very accommodating. Bread was delicious and escargot. Calamari was 6/10 for not having a crispy coating. Lobster tails massive, steak cooked to perfection. Mashed potato and gravy was delicious and vegetables cooked perfectly, would recommend to anyone looking to have a nice steak dinner downtown.

Honestly, I was VERY excited to dine at Bardi’s because of how high of a rating it had. It was a close contender for NYE but we went some where else instead and I am SO GLAD that we did. Firstly, our server brought our glasses of water and he was holding the cups so that his whole hand was covering our water and the rim of the glass. I don’t even do that at HOME when I am serving people drinks so for that to happen in a restaurant was shocking. The food was nothing spectacular. Quite bland, flavour wise, for me. My steak was over done and I sent it back and it was rectified and the waiter also gave me a complimentary drink for my inconvenience which was really kind. The crab cakes were tasty tho!

I have not been to this restaurant before. It was one that was avail that eve and had a table for four with steak and seafood on the menu. I was very pleased with access from the highway, nearby parking and that old school steak house ambiance and service. The wine choice was excellent. I should have had the signature steak as one of my party did but my steak was also very good. This place is not cheap but you feel that your business is valued there.

Will never return. We tried to cancel within 3 hours. We were told they’d charge us $100 because of covid rules at 50% capacity. This ended up being a lie because they were far above that capacity, and close to full. Food was fine but not worth the exorbitant prices. Many other fantastic restaurants in TO. Not worth the visit or cost.

The quality of steak cuts here is really very good. They were prepared to perfection and side dishes offered to accompany the steaks were ideal including baked potatoes, fries, mushrooms, broccoli, sprouts, and several other accompaniments. Decent selection of wines and other menu items including chicken and seafood. Vegetarian options were very limited to some starters and salads only.

We had not been for a while but the quality of the food and the service have remained of the highest quality. We also really liked the soft jazz music in the background. It was like being on a date again. We will return more often.
