the service is great, the waiters are friendly, and the food is wonderful.
We celebrated a birthday party for approximately 25 people. The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating to our needs. They designed a special cake for the birthday. The food was delicious and we had a good dance off later to finish off a wonderful evening. I would be quick to recommend this place to a friend for groups and celebrations.
Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Steak (2 large cuts + 1 small), sides a glass of champagne and wine for 3 for just over £100. Book for 8pm or later. The restaurant is empty at 7.
Visited the Bariloche Argentinian Grill & Bar at new years eve. Great food and service. The staff were very nice and didn’t close before we chose to leave the restaurant.
Great dinner, everything was outstanding (pork chorizo, lamb chops, steak with green dressing, grilled vegetables, spinach, mashed potatoes, cheesecake, malbec by the glass) friendly and welcoming Brazilian - Portuguese staff. Overall not expensive at all.
Bariloche always delivers great food and service. I have no idea why more people don't go - on a Saturday night when I expected it to be busy on 4 or 5 tables were taken.
Great food, nice family and romantic environment.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. Went there with family and steaks were delicious, all very clean tasting and great ambience. Wine was very good too and as my son knows Argentina very well he said it was very authentic and really good. Definitely coming back when next in London, can't wait to take other family and friends. Thank you
Was looking forward to a good meal, but disappointed with what we received. The empanadas were overdone and we requested rare steaks that came out medium to well. Unfortunately not worth the money we paid.
I ate at Bariloche with my family on a Friday night. What ruined the experience off the bat was the live music performer - while the performance itself was fine, the music itself was so loud that the waiter could barely hear our order!
We didn't order starters and the food took forever to arrive - almost 30 minutes give or take.
Shame because the meat dishes were actually very good, particularly the limo de bife. I'm afraid we shan't be returning, their offer of an after-dinner drink on the house notwithstanding.
Fun place with excellent range of meats and helpful staff.
The best steaks we have had in any part of London for a long long time and really good value. Excellent starters all large portions. Really efficient and friendly service but perfectly paced and no pushing to get us off the table.
We were early 1830, but already a few tables occupied. By 1930 it was pretty well full and great atmosphere.
Live music. It was worth going just for that - girl singer/guitarist and really good guy on guitar with her.
Neat, clean and clear well looked after slick decor.
Can't wait to go back!
Excellent food and service, we had the meat and cheese platter to start, very nice cheese's and the waitress found the name for us of the one we really liked. The. One fillet and rib eye steak, both cooked to perfection. Excellent wine recommendation and excellent service in a very nice setting
The restaurant is fairly average in terms of decor but it's a good find for excellent quality steak. We have not had such a great tasting, perfectly cooked steak in a very long time.
Food and Service excellent. Just a shame a few more people hadn't made the same decision as us to hit the place before Twickenham. They deserve more patrons. Well done and thanks for a great meal.
Excellent staff and attentive wner, it was a pleasure to dine here and i've since been back quie a few times. Thank you for educating me on the Argentinian way. Great Place...Hidden Gem
Amazing food and ambiance, but unfortunately the service was terrible!
Amazing venue amazing steak will definitely be coming back
Great food and service, live music was good, if a dash loud at times.
Went last minute and was a lovely dinner, food was good and service pleasant and not intrusive.
We had an early dinner before a firework extravaganza in Battersea Park.
The staff were welcoming and friendly.
The food was tasty but not exceptional, I found the steak very fatty.
Although we ordered some starters as mains with a few side dishes, they still didn't manage to bring what we'd asked for.
The cheesecake dessert said it was homemade, but it seemed to me to be manufactured.
I probably wouldn't eat here again, but I would recommend it for a decent meal out.
Fantastic food, we ordered steak and prawns, which were really delicious and the chocolate cake w as amazing. The service was good and attentive without being over bearing. We sat outside as it was a warm summer evening which made it even more special.
The food was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated.
Bad experience start to finish. There was no service, we were ignored multiple times, the wrong items were brought and when we asked to have the service
I dont like giving just ok reviews but I have to be totally honest I have had much better. This place is tucked away on a back street of Battersea, quirky location and standard decor. Big TV with football on so not ideal, it gave off a more sports bar vibe.
To begin the waiter spilt our drinks all over the table, not ideal, then took quite a while to replenish these.
We ordered 3 x Fillet Steaks all cooked the same with sides of chips, spinach and extra chimichurri. They tried to fob us off with a crap cut of sirloin or frying steak so we sent it back, and nibbled the sides to keep us going. Then a waitress appeared to ' take our sides away to keep warm' to which I immediately responded you will do no such thing as you will be bringing fresh ones with the new steaks *evil eyes*
We then received 1 tiny ramekin of chimichurri when the menu clearly said steaks all come with sauce on the side. I asked for more and I am still waiting.
The fillet steaks tasted nice when they came but to be honest the evening was ruined.
We asked for the manager and he came along and apologies saying they were having a bad/busy evening and in order to show his gratitude he will remove the service ( may I remind everyone that service is OPTIONAL in London and should not be assumed ) he also through in a round of drinks and took some off the bill.
Nice-ish gesture but I wont be back.
We had a fantastic time. The food we great the staff were very good to be honest can't find anything bad to say. If you like good food plesant surrounding this is a must.
We enjoyed our meal in a convivial and up beat environment. Excellent meal marred very slightly by slow service, but would certainly recommend to others.
Very enjoyable. Mainly fillet steaks
The quality of the food was very high, the restaurant was not very busy but they are friendly and the parking was, although not a lot close by, it seems it is mostly free 4:30pm.
Celebrated my birthday here after going for dinner there with my boyfriend. The prawns are to die for, steak is cooked to perfection & the staff are absolutely amazing. Had a great time, thoroughly enjoyed the food and everyone felt it was value for money.
Great night, awesome food too
very good steak, starter and dessert. faultless service. difficult to find a quality steak in london for 20 quid.
Steak was delicious and the wine even better. Service was great. We will be back!
This average-sized Argentinian Grill in the Clapham/Battersea area boasts a very comprehensive selection of steaks to suit varying budgets and tastes. Our fillets were immaculately prepared to order and came with a good supporting a la carte menu. The small touches like the delicious breads were very welcome. However, on a cold February evening, the thing that struck me most was how intimate and secluded the place felt. Although about 3/4 full, we didn't feel imposed upon by either staff of other customers. That's not to say the service was not welcoming and attentive - it very much was. I would recommend to any friends looking for good food on a date night or a smaller party meal.
When we arrived at the restaurant for our valentine's dinner a portion of the staff were having their own dinner at the bar - not the best ambiance. We had to choose from a Valentine's Day set menu which wasn't flagged to us when we booked. Overall the food was very mediocre - bread was stale for example.
We live close by and have passed a few times when when it's seemed quite busy, however it just didn't do it for us.
Waiter very charming and attentive who made sure we were seated away from a very rowdy group (although their noise was still quite dominant). Convenient 10 minute walk from Clapham Junction station (exit platform 1 end). Good straightforward fare particularly good if you are with not very adventurous eaters! Good steak, good wine, good selection of sides. What more could you ask for for the price?
Great food, great value, good service, good restaurant!
Bariloche were very accommodating when our party of 10 turned out to be 13. The service was excellent and the food great value. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Booked barlioche for a family meal, and as usual I was not disappointed by food and standards. Reserved a table for 18 for a family meal. Everyone was happy with heir food especially the steaks and have said they would love to come again. Bariloche is one of my favourite the only thing that lets them down is the service which can be slow at times. Apart from that I always have an exceptional meal!
Excellant food best steaks in London a real gem hope it remains so, thanks!!!
