Great place to dine. Nice decor, service was great, food is very good.

My daughter and I went to Barrett’s Grill for Sunday brunch and we enjoyed the entire experience. Our family has been to Barrett’s before for other meals and we have always been pleased with the food, service, and the atmosphere! We would highly recommend this restaurant for any of your meals for dining out.

We are never disappointed when we go to Barrett's. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They even get to know the regulars and recognize faces! That is important to my family. The food is always delicious and the presentation of the plate enhances the taste. We live in York and will often drive down to just relax and enjoy some good food. Cant wait for the live band to come back.

The service and restaurant was great BUT it seemed really crazy that we were there at 10:30 for brunch and there was no regular coffee available. It is not like the restaurant was packed and that seems to be an essential part of brunch.

John our waiter was very attentive and the food & drinks were amazing! I had brussel sprouts for the first time and they were simply delicious! I will definitely be returning!

Decided on you guys since it is my GFs favorite place. Was there in Novemeber and things were excellent. Just felt a bit off on Valentine's Day. Ordered of the prixe fixe menu, was disappointed the shrimp cargot and scallop orzo? wasn't on there. Ordred all three courses at once...GFs side did not come out with meal...I was brought a dessert menu which confused me for a second before we all got on the same track...and GF ordered the creme brulle...and when it came to the table, it had not been "scorched" or what have you so no "candied" top to the dish... Still a favorite of ours and will return and recommend to others. I know the holiday type days can be a bit of a challenge.

We took the family out for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. Our waitress, Mary, was outstanding!!! She was very friendly, very attentive and wast simply amazing.
We cannot wait to go back again!!

We were celebrating my Mom's 90th birthday, our server Mary made the night special for her and for us.

Second meal here, both times the food was outstanding. The mushroom & shrimp risotto was prepared perfectly and the carrot cake is one of the best I've had. The calamari appetizer was very good, though a bit overpowered by the amount of hot sauce poured on it. Cocktails were prepared well, and the wine list (and the wine) were also good.
I think it's a bit difficult to locate this restaurant as it's in the Hunt Valley Mall, but there's no easily seen signage directing traffic off of Shawan Road to the back of the mall where the restaurant is located. Directions say it's next to a movie theater, and I only saw one small sign with a directional arrow pointing toward the theater. My GPS wasn't helpful this time! It's worth the "hunt" for the food though!

Always a consistent meal, more specials available would be great. Menu hasn’t changed much over the years of dining here. Dessert menu is lacking, it’s nice to finish off a rich dinner with a warm creme brûlée or peanut butter pie. I guess with the Covid changing every aspect of our lives it seems, why would dining out be anything different. Barrett’s is a consistently good meal, but expanding the menu and desert offering could bump you to greatness.

Service was excellent. Our waiter gave us great recommendations, we requested a particular wine that we did not see on the suggested wine list and he took the extra step to check inventory to make sure we received the wine that was requested.

Great experience overall and the food is delicious.

This restaurant is unparalleled at all levels. Their food is spectacular in diversity, quality, preparation and presentation. Always cooked to perfection and oh so flavorful. The ambiance is just right to hear the music but quiet enough to talk. And their service staff is like no other - very warm and pleasant with great menu suggestions. They are attentive without being shadowing and make us feel as if we are the only customers. They also put forth a real team effort by servicing the diners' table even if they aren't the one assigned to that table.

We dine out often (in many parts of the country) and happily travel 2 hours each way to dine here. This is always our "special treat" place. Many restaurants could take notes!!

Wanted to take family out to dinner while visiting Baltimore area. Barrett’s was recommended and not too far. The corn and crab chowder was so delicious. As was every entree. Our waiter, I think named Cory was exceptional. He picked up on each of our party‘s tastes and tailored accordingly. My daughter wanted a certain cocktail on the drink menu but mentioned it would probably be better with raspberries than blueberries. That converted cocktail came within minutes and she loved it! He was knowledgeable and timely. Was a lovely evening!

We had the best prime rib ever and the desserts were oooh, la, la large and delicious.

We double dated and had a very nice time. Our food and server were great. The atmosphere was awesome given we went during Covid restrictions. Would go again.

Our server, Piper, was outstanding, especially considering it was late on the evening of Christmas Eve. She was a delight, festive, and the food was delicious, as usual. We loved our usual favorites as well as the new specials for the Christmas menu.
