Beany are passionate about serving bold food and great Aussie coffee. We have a great offering for after work drinks Monday - Friday which includes craft beer, wine and cocktails.
Please note that from the 21st of October, we will be no longer serving brunch over the weekend at this location.
Wednesday - Friday: 6.30am - LATE
Saturday - Sunday: 9.30am - 5pm
Disappointed by low quality coffee (given "Beany" name Poor service from staff lacking humility (told after 20 mins that they needed the table back because we only wanted coffees/ no food when cafe was half-full); Cannot recommend and would not return...
If I could give zero I would, the worse place I ever been for a meal. I have bought a box salad and when I got back to the office and open the box I had inside just 1 meatball and hummus that's it, I was robbed basically. Avoid this place and wasting your money, I have contacted the shop and waiting for the management to reply back.Avoid this place because you will get disappointed you will be more happy with a MacDonald's meal.
Really quick service and a quirky menu.
We came quite late but the waiters were accommodating nonetheless! Choose the charcoal avocado bread
Great brunch and selection of dishes. Service was a little relaxed on a Saturday.
Food great. Service TERRIBLE. Waited ages to be served. Asked for a coffee and they didn't bring it because 'they forgot what milk we wanted'. Why would you not ask us what milk we ask for instead of deciding to not even make it?! The mind boggles.
Awful service nice food! Really appalled by how slow the staff was.
Delicious food but service was slow. We were ignored by staff so had to ask for the menu etc.
I visited with a group of friends for the bottomless brunch. We had a lovely time - the food was lovely and it was very relaxed. There was no pressure to rush out quickly after eating like there sometimes can be.
The only downside is that we had to sit outside which was a bit uncomfortable on a chilly day.
Good food, ok service, however it is not exactly a comfortable setting, we were perched on stools in this tiny cafe. For a brunch catch up with a friend I would prefer to go somewhere I can feel a bit more relaxed
Food was great, lovely staff ..tables were really small and not a lot of space to relax
Delicious brunch and matcha latte to die for! Will definitely be back
Small inside, limited seating, book if you can.
Loved Beany Green, great value, generous portions and tasty food, but it is a little cramped!
I love their brunch. It was so delicious and portions were great!
I went to Beany Green for a birthday brunch after seeing it heavily promoted on social media. After being ignored on arrival, we took our seats at a cramped table. I eventually asked to move and was sat on another table which had some sort of leak that sprayed down on me throughout my meal. When I mentioned this to the staff they appeared disinterested and told me it was 'just condensation dripping down' which wasn't an adequate response in my eyes. My eggs on sourdough was underwhelming although my friends banana bread sandwich looked and tasted delicious.
Great place! very small so mostly outdoor seating, they do give you blankets. I was lucky enough to nab a table inside (table for 2) i did also pre book. The chairs (or rather stools) are tiny so I would not suggest it if you had loads of baggage or a buggy. The portion was huge (I got the Bondi) and the coffee was smooth and rich.
Service was a little slow but the staff were all very friendly
Very slow service, my meal was missing things that were apparently included in the menu, and they had run out of a few of the options!
Smaller than you expect, with just a tiny indoor area and then an outdoor balcony seating area with bright coloured tables and chairs. The tables are low level tho, and some of us struggled to get our legs under, but the food made up for it. Absolutely delicious! The wait staff were lovely too, very friendly and didn't ignore us or hover over us so as a group of friends meeting for a catcup brunch we had a really pleasant couple of hours.
We went as a group of four for the boozy brunch. The food was good but the service was rather poor - in particular, despite us all ordering from the boozy brunch menu and selecting the drinks on offer on that menu, the waitresses somehow did not realise we were taking that option and therefore it was very difficult to get drink refills. They also tried to charge us for each individual dish / drink when it came to the bill and argued with us about it (despite us mentioning the boozy brunch offer in our booking!).
The food was very tasty and well presented however the service was not so good with inattentive serving staff and general lack of organisation. Not worth the price paid.
They messed up every single order. Some ingredients found themselves on other plates (including my bacon, which ended up on a vegetarian dish), some extras were forgotten until asked for again (have you ever been brought a poached egg in a bowl?), and some things that were meant to be taken off a dish were left on. The waiters were really nice, but it was just ridiculous how much they messed up. There were also things like fuzz in the coffee milk, missing teapots, cutlery not brought to the table...I would not go back.
The waitress brought me the wrong meal. When I asked for the correct meal, she rolled her eyes at me. When it did come it was undercooked.
Bottomless brunch wasn't exactly bottomless either, we had to ask 5/6 times to get a refill.
First time here and not disappointed. Had brunch on a Saturday, and the food was excellent. Service was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
The menu on the website is old, and they had several gluten meal options marked. At the cafe, I pressed the waitress closely about the ingredients (given my allergy to gluten) I was told "Yes it gluten-free....Oh except a tiny amount in the baking powder". This was the case for several menu items, which were advertised on the website as Gluten-Free. I explained that you wouldn't advertise something as Nut-Free if it had a small amount of peanuts in it - celiacs is the same thing - even the smallest amount of gluten in a meal causes severe damage to the stomach lining, and result in up to 48 hours of sickness.
When I finally was presented with avocado on gluten-free bread, the waitress put the meal down and then quickly took it back to double-check that the stuff on top of the avocado was gluten-free (she had told the chef, but said wanted to be sure). She came back and apologised. Although she had told the chef I was celiac and could not have any gluten, he had proceeded to sprinkle a gluten-containing topping all over the breakfast. Thank goodness she checked.
Cafe's and restaurants should be fined for advertising allergy-menus when this is not the case.
Not great - food wasn't anything special, the whole restaurant is outside (cold!), they were doing some cleaning with a pressure washer when we went so it was noisy and wet everywhere (the waitress did give us a free coffee to apologise for this). We waited for 10mins to pay our bill....bearing in mind we were standing at the till at this point, receipt in hand, whilst the 4 staff members behind the desk carried on making coffee without even a 'I'll be there in a sec!' kind of acknowledgement. My poor confused friend visiting from Australia asked me quite earnestly if it was normal for staff to not make eye contact in London (!!!). This just feels like a takeaway coffee place. Not the cosy cafe brunch experience I was expecting - definitely got the wrong vibe from the website!
relaxed good access and space for small babies / children great juices and food
Would you recommend Beany Green - Broadgate Circle to a friend? Yes indeed I would!
Great brunch with friends before a day out in London.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. Both the coffee and food were excellent.
OK, so we booked at short notice, but the table allocated was outside and given the temperature didn't stay. It should say that tables may be outside due to limited internal space
