Beany Green - Little Venice Ratings and Reviews
This place was simply AMAZING! we did the bottomless brunch with two courses!! The food was so great and the bubbles were flowing! I will be going back here for sure! make sure you get the banana bread if you go! its out of this world! Great service - very friendly. WE WILL BE BACK
A friend and I were visiting London for the first time. We are big brunch fans so we found this one online, booked it for a Sunday brunch and I am so glad we did! This place could not have been cuter. I don't know which was better the service or the food. We did the bottomless brunch option which included multiple bottles of champagne and insane amount of delicious food. I wish I could go back to London just for this amazing place. Loved it!!!
Great location, tucked away near little venice.
Food quality was amazing. The only downside to our arrival was the fact that the manager "did not check the reservations for the day" so we were made to wait for our table. Other than that overall good food and ambience.
Beany Green is a great chain of restaurants, but on this occasion their service was below average. They forgot our order and we waited about 30 mins for the drinks to arrive! Apart from that mishap the food was delicious.
Fabulous food, we ordered at the same time as a big group so the waiting time was long. It was a little longer again as they didn't put our order through!! Waiting time was made up with more mimosas so we left pretty happy! 😎
Aside from the delicious food we had (the banana toast was insane), the service was outstanding. Our waitor (French female) went out of her way to provide the best experience and to accomodate our party of 5. Thank you so much! I'll be definitely be back soon!
I attended the bottomless brunch at Beany Green with a group of 10 friends. We were so impressed with the entire experience and have already recommended it to our wider circle of friends. The staff were amazing; friendly, attentive and dedicated to ensuring that our brunch was perfect! The food was outstanding; the banana bread and coffee tasted like home (Sydney standards are high!) Thank you so much for making our afternoon unforgettable (even after the bottomless proseccos!) We will be back soon!
Booked a table for 6 people for a Sunday brunch and glad we did because it was absolutely rammed! We had a nice little table at the back. Food was amazing. I had the coconut french toast, everyone else had the more traditional breakfast, eggs bacon sausage etc and all said it was top notch. Tried a matcha latte but it wasn't great as the matcha hadn't blended properly with the milk so there were little powder pockets throughout so next time would have the coffee as it looked amazing.
It was my boyfriends birthday and they brought out a little cake from the front bakery for him which was a lovely gesture (we didn't ask for it!)
Service was good too, staff were friendly.
Overall a great experience and would definitely go back and recommend to anyone after a nice brunch.
We didn't know what to expect - but having visited an "Aussie" cafe in Notting Hill previously, we are making a little tour of London's upside down eats. The entire experience was very welcoming, giving, thoughtful & I came away with the impression that the staff didn't mind going out of their way for us on a Sunny (if a little fresh) Sunday morning. Wonderful food, as the menu hints at, good portions. Beware a lot of the "extras" already come with the food even if not listed so it's worth askins (e.g. toast w Shakshouka, chilli pesto w avo toast - but I could be wrong in my Sunday morning haze...). And how nice to receive a decaf black "americano" in a nice mug, flipping delicious, proper temp, well-made, and without a sneer! We were in & out in 30mins, so very efficient service (self-service order & pay at the counter probably speeds the whole thing up, other brunch spots take note!!!). Lovely to see canal boat occupiers pottering around and plenty of dogs walking the canal. It could be a soulless area, the kind that plagues so much of London's "clever" redevelopment, but thanks to this cafe's energy, it anchors the area as a destination, a place to go chill and have a bite. Looks also like a party spot later on when the beers are flowing. Spotted happy hour deals advertised on flyers - investigate if you are in the area early evening!
We were a fairly large table (12) for lunch, and the food was great. This is by far the most important thing. The smoothies and juices all went down well, and the food was delicious.
Downsides: the charcoal bread was a little tough, the service was friendly and well-intentioned but left a little to be desired on professionalism of manner, and our food arrived at fairly staggered times, leaving one of our party eating alone at the end. The biggest down point is the noise of the blender! I really hope someone from BG reads this - YOU NEED TO GET A NEW BLENDER. Every time someone ordered a smoothie, two minutes later the café was deafened. It was very interrupting.
The upsides: it's fun, the staff were friendly and accommodating when taking our booking, the range of food available is impressive and all looks delicious, and I was truly sad that we didn't have time for a cake. The gentleman who took our order, while not being the most efficient or astute, was incredibly considerate when I asked for no fresh chilli, as he then also brought the sauce on the side, saying the sauce was also quite hot (he wasn't wrong) and that I might not want it all. That impressed me. The food we ordered was all great bar the tough charcoal bread, and I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. (I wouldn't go however for a serious conversation or a relaxing brunch/lunch/cup of tea, simply due to the blender.)
Great food, nice ambiance, awful blender.
I love this place, but the cheapest, but the ingredients are healthy, organic, and thus tend to be expensive. The caffeine hit smoothie is a favourite and if you have any food intolerances you are certain to still find options on the menu. Almond milk mocha, coconut yoghurt, etc!
