Loved it. Would highly recommend the bottomless brunch
Beany Grren is hard to find - the name is only in the chalk board outside. The staff are friendly and nice, the food is wholesome and abundant by not tasty and the establishment just felt grubby. The table I had reserved didn’t exist and the table I was given was dirty - with drink stains and sticky. Finally for an informal cafe lunch with a client it was just too noisy.
We waited almost one hour for our food. Even though we got a 20% discount because of this, it did not really justify the waiting time. The coffee was not really up to the standards of this chain and the service was also more poor than in other locations. Quite disappointed.
Had a good brunch here with some friends.
Rafael recommended the vegan Smoothie and it did no dissapoint, for a non vegan it was amazing. He also was friendly and didn't rush our table.
Would only say that the charcole bread was over done. But great atmosphere and location.
Would go again.
Best french toast I’ve ever had!
The best brunch I’ve ever had in London!! Great food, great service, nice environment, good prices!
Amazing food, loved the brunch. Such a great waiter as well! Perfect morning in paddington!
Service very poor. I’d booked a table about 5-7 days before for 3 of us when booking was asked if it was an occasion which it was my birthday. When we arrived they had my booking but hasn’t saved a nice table was offered one which was right by the toilet, managed to move after 15min when I saw a table empty. Took a long time to order food and by the time it was out turn they had already ran out of some of the salads and it wasn’t even 1pm. When the food finally arriveswd I had a ask the waiter to add more salad to one of my guest as it was ½ the quantity to the other one, which they weren’t very happy about me asking.
I want be going back in a hurry which is sad as I’m in that area often
It is excellent
Staff are wonderful
We love it
Food is first rate
A group of 7 of us went to Beany Green for a Bottomless Brunch, a couple of people from our group were running late and they were more than happy to wait 15min after our booking time for them. The food was outstanding, and plentiful, and was a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely come back! Thank you!
The food was amazing, however absolutely terrible service!
Great service and super cool atmosphere. |Food was wonderful and the coffee was incredible.
One member of staff only and they ran out of coffee at 8.15am! Food took forever; such a shame as great venue and location.
The service was really bad (had to stand for a few minutes waiting for them to attend to us while they chat away with eqch other. when they finally decided to grace us with their attention he pointed out they were quite empty so we can sit anywhere we want... meaning-what are we waiting for, they don’t need to sit us) and also very inconsistent (our coconut french toast didn’t come with a small syrup but the other table did).
the food is still good, however, they really need to beish up on their customer service
Second visit, service appallingly slow.Prosecco was warm.Need to up their anti as there is a lot more competition around the corner now.Like the food choices though....when it arrives. It seems to arrive in drips,ie one type of dish at a time throughout ,so some of the table are kept waiting. A long time whilst the earlier food sits waiting and getting cold.
Nice, lively place by the canal at Paddington. Friendly staff and really good tasty food. We did have to wait far too long for our breakfast to arrive - over 40 minutes but when we came to pay the bill the waiter apologised for the delay unprompted and explained that the chef was new!!
If you don't know the area, it can be difficult to navigate to - this caused us to be 25mins late to our booking. I was calling to let the restaurant know however, I couldn't get through to them on the phone. Thankfully, my table of 8 wasn't given away as it was for my Birthday celebration.
The waitress on the door wasn't impressed with our being lost/late and gave us attitude. Which I felt terrible about, seeing as though I was trying to get a hold of the restaurant to let them know.
EVERYTHING ELSE THOUGH - WAS INCREDIBLE! The food, the cocktails, the table service was outstanding. I will definitely be back.
Love this place for brunch. Delicious, healthy, original, fusion food in an easy-going atmosphere and helpful friendly staff.
I booked. I turned up and fulfilled the bokking. I then got charged for a no show. Unbelievable.
A great place to celebrate our anniversary with an incredibly tasty brunch. Banana bread sandwich and a Bondi cooked breakfast. Casual and relaxed. Great service. Well made coffee.
Good food, but over priced. Best for ambience and lovely staff
The food was great but they were clearly not prepared for a busy weekend. We waited ages for someone to take our orders and they were sold out of a lot of things on the menu. One of the meals arrived long after all the others. Also, for having booked in advance, it would have been nice to be seated at a better table. All in all, I don't think I'd go back in a group. A gesture of something on the house for the poor service would have been appreciated.
This was my first time eating here and we waited 20 minutes for two coffees which they forgot to bring us. We asked twice as well and they kept forgetting. Taking it off the bill would have been the right thing to do having waited for so long.
Great day out with excellent service from their very friendly, fun and lovely staff! Thank you
We found the venue a bit hard to get to as there is major construction still being done along the canal north of Sheldon Square, but once found Beany Green proved to be a great spot for brunch. The menu is really interesting and has both vegetarian and regular foods on offer. The prices are a bit expensive, but everything was well cooked and tasty. The staff were all friendly, and we were seated immediately. The Smashed Avocado with Charcoal Toast was delicious, but was missing the added Poached Eggs that I ordered, until we mentioned it - at which time they were brought promptly. The Shakshouka with Baked Eggs was fabulous, and my request for well done eggs was honoured with no comment. Our waitress was a happy soul, and she kept us happy, and catered to all our requests even bringing our bill before we finished, as we had to rush off for a train at nearby Paddington. This was a useful find!
VERY dirty. A food hygiene of a 2. Don’t display their rating in the window and then pretend they don’t know it. Cute concept. We came for breakfast since they can accommodate gluten allergies. However the staff is washing dishes without gloves and then touching and serving food, food is sitting out and open unrefrigerated all morning. They don’t clean the tables off between diners. I tried repeatedly to speak to the owner, Prue, about their sanitary rating and lack of display and she ignored the requests. Avoid or risk getting sick and cross contaminated. If they could clean up their act it would be a great little cafe.
Really friendly staff & the food was delicious. The restaurant has lots of natural light and is a cozy place to sit for a while and catch up with friends. Would definitely go back.
Met up with a friend for lunch, service very helpful, welcoming and friendly, lovely, freshly prepared food.
Delicious food and absolutely fantastic service. Bottomless brunch comes highly recommended
I was a little disappointed with the experience there, the place was fairly empty and it would get ages for us to be seen by anyone. The food is good, but a little overpriced. Ambience was not nice. On top of that, one of our friends got charged for some extra bread he requested, and I think this was completely unnecessary (and, also, it took around 30 minutes for his 2 slices of extra bread to arrive). I don't think I will be returning any time soon.
Great find by Paddington. Incredible, friendly service and delicious food with an amazing menu. Would highly recommend
I had a brunch with my girlfriend. Food was amazing, very nice and particular place, friendly service little bit overprice.
We chose Beany Green because of the outstanding coffee and being close to our airbnb. And then we discovered that their Granola is the best we ever enjoyed in an restaurant. Even if it was served 4 times out of 4 without spoon 😄 .
All good - our table was a bit cold due to the window proximity, + better cleaning could be done on the floor and tables (both sticky). But did not ruin overall experience. Good food, nice staff, like this place
Very nice place with a lot of amazing food. Very good service.
Lots of choice in the menu. I had the Bondi brunch which was so delicious! Really glad I booked as we went at lunchtime on a Sunday where people without reservations were queuing.
Great food - especially the banana bread sandwich!! Service was friendly, although a bit stretched - they forgot to brink milk for our coffees on two occasions and the greeter was stroppy!
Only thing is it's a popular venue for bottomless brunching so can get quite loud.
Food was very good and especially good for vegetarian options which was nice. However we were sitting right by the door, which was electronically controlled and so stayed open for a long time, and we were pretty cold by the end of our meal! The staff did give us a free hot drink to make up for the cold which was thoughtful. Service was a bit slow, we ended up having to get one hot drink in a takeaway cup because we had been waiting so long for it. Overall I would go back again, but to a different table.
When we got there for brunch on sunday, they ran out of juices also the cofee machine was not working so we could not have coffee only options we had was either tea or boxed juices.. also the shaksuha was too spicy.
