   I took my wife for dinner at this restaurant before we went to see Queen at the O2, as we had booked early we were the only ones there but it soon started to fill. It is in a good location right on the docks and only 10 minutes walk to tube. The lady who was at front of house and also brought our food was excellent and very polite think her name was Francesca, the food was very good and reasonably priced in fact the drinks were more expensive Charging 9.50 for glass of wine

   I arrived and told the receptionist that I have a reservation and he told me to go upstairs to another restaurant without checking anything or my booking. Then I went back there and he was with an awful face, looks like he didn’t want to be there. The pizza was very good but the other dishes like beef carpaccio and swordfish carpaccio with 3 slices of beef/fish and a lot of leaves…don’t worth it. They served a beer disgusting with a lot of dirty on the glass, we asked to change it 2 times. That is a shame because the place is very near my house, and the menu look’s great. But the service is terrible.

   The steak arrived with a hair threaded in it... The restaurant made good and deducted it from the bill and gave my friend a dessert and some chips so she had something to eat while I was eating. Along with some Prosecco... However waitress also tried to sit someone very close, maybe less than 2 feet away from next table, until I mentioned social distancing, however the couple said they would go elsewhere thankfully. Not very Covid aware place.

    I visited Bella Cosa to celebrate a reunion with a friend and the food was so delicious! What made our dining experience most enjoyable was our waitress Narcosia who guided us through the menu, gave us recommendations as was just a positive spirit! Her ability to help us choose our food as well as her professionalism was top botch! Both the restaurant, the food and the service is A class! Will definitely be back again!

    Service is usually good here. But just for Friday it was a let down to begin with due to 1 hour delay in seating but I think it’s due to last day of indoor dining for mixed household before tier 2 lockdown restrictions. For this reason I think it is understandable. As they were unusually busier. The manager gave us free Prosecco and quickly rectified the issue with some complimentary food. So I will give them a thumbs up for that. Good example of customer service. Food once again very good. They are doing EOTHO Sunday to Friday offer. Reasonably priced and good wharf views. Definitely will come back.

    Bella Cosa offers a great dining experience and the staff is really accommodating. We made a last minute reservation and we had 3 children with us. During our visit only the fine dining part of the restaurant was open however the staff was superb in making us feeling welcome. Food is really good and it is a pity to see that such lovely place does not get the success it deserves (mainly due to the location).

    I have dined more than 10 times at this restaurant. Always love the unique flavors of the food. This time, the price has gone up, but the food, the interior and the manager's attitude stays the same. We were not informed that sitting upstairs or downstairs means you will get different menus. While dining, you might see other guests have dishes from the downstairs menu, but you only have options from the new and more expensive so called upstairs menu. Unfortunately, those unique dishes we usually like are not listed in the latter one.

    I've booked a table for two as it was a birthday dinner with my partner. I called the restaurant at 21:30 to confirm the booking but only to be told that the head chef or manager decided to close early. This was on a Sunday So most restaurants close at 10. Very disappointed with the service and attitude of the staff that I spoke to on the phone, no apology was offered just a ruined night. Sort out your staff because behind each table booked is a customer expecting dinner.

    This is a nice Italian restaurant, on two levels, with Pizza style restaurant downstairs and fine dining upstairs. The menu prices are reasonable, although wines are a little expensive. The Octopus and the Rabbit Ragu were the standout dishes, although the purple potato puree was not a nice accompaniment to the Octopus main course and the warm Octopus salad starter was a better combination. Pasts was al dente, as I like it, but possible too firm for some taste. Service was good, although the maitre'd explained he was teaching someone, so we showed her some leniency. Main downside was a lack of diners, which was surprising for a Saturday night, so the ambience was rather muted. It is out the way for Canary Wharf, but was close to our hotel.

    The food was great in every way. Our waitress, Erika, was very friendly and professional. Her service always enhance the dining experience. She even introduced the sous chef, Girolamo, to us, such a thoughtful act.

    We were visiting this restaurant very often before our little girl was born and were enjoying food very much. It was one of the favorite restaurants for us. Unfortunately, everything is changed since our last visit in September 2017 :( Menu changed, kitchen chef gone, and now it's just another plain restaurant. Service during our visit was perfect, but food was big let down after our expectations. Few dishes were over seasoned, "Trio of Smoked Fish Carpaccio" was just a very rustic style cuts of fish piled on the plate and were very bland. Overall - very disappointing experience, after our high expectations of having a nice and tasty family dinner date. Unfortunately we won't be back to this restaurant, as it's nothing special about the food anymore :(

    Had a lovely dinner here recently. Was our first time at this quiet & intimate restaurant with excellent water views looking towards Canary Wharf. Good service, great food and a very nicely decorated interior. A bit difficult to find as the restaurant is actually not on Marsh Wall as indicated, but off a turning. Nevertheless a delightful experience and a welcome find. We will be back soon!

    The Service was excellent. I would personally prefer that water, pepper, salt, etc. are left on the table so that I may help myself, but the waiting staff were most attentive. Food was very good and the menu is broad.

    The food was too bland. It was nothing special. They brought amuse bouche, beetroot puree (it was inedible) Bruschetta slection, OK, I would really think that Fried Calamari starter is same as you could eat at TGI Fridays, ordinary, Pizza was by far the best thing, good thin crust, tasty and fresh. The Restaurant was quiet on Friday 730pm, which is OK, still everything took ages to come including the salt I had to ask 3 times, also needed to ask the bill few times. Overall, I wouldn’t come back here again just because I don’t think their food match their ambition.

    The downside If you're not familiar with this area, is the restaurant is very hard to find head towards the river and stuck among a very residential complex is where it sits. Inside is a pleasant surprise it was light and airy, a very comfortable setting, it had a view across the river by slightly obscured by the whopping great boat moored directly in front of the view of it, they have a small but tasteful lounge area under an aitree with comfy furnishings to sit and have coffee. There is also no parking as this is restricted to residents. We were there for Mothers Day and were limited greatly to one 'Mothers Day Special Menu' (which is usually hyped and a bit overpriced in restaurants with very minimal food options) which I could understand if the place was completely fully booked but as it had only one or two other tables I felt they could have allowed us greater food choices from the other menus. The food however was excellent I had the Smoked Salmon Starter followed by Duck , Panacotta coffee & petite fours all excellent and presented beautifully presented, complimentary liqueur at the end was a nice touch. The music in the background was also a hit with me as it played a varied playlist from Van Morrison to Frank Sinatra, very enjoyable easy listening. Yes I would go back - just to warn 12.% Service charge is attached.
