At Bellaluna restaurant you can enjoy lunch or a romantic candle lit dinner in true Italian style. The friendly staff, Italian artifacts and soft music create a lovely ambience in the evenings, making Bellaluna the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy real Italian food.
Fantastic food! I'll be back again to try the pizza!
Another very good meal at Bellaluna. Their lunch special is hard to beat: delicious food, friendly service and good value. We'll definitely be back again soon.
Amazing food and lovely friendly staff. We are regulars and will definitely go back. Best Spag Bol in town!!
Its actually a great italian restaurant. Me and my wife were so happy and definitely will come back! The food is 10/10 !!! Friendly and professional staff. The seafood pizza is Top!!!!! Very reasonable prices. Thank you!
Lovely food and great service. The ambience and interior were much more relaxed than I anticipated. Not somewhere I would go for a special occasion or romantic date
I have eaten at Bellaluna before and this time brought my friends along that had not been before. Food was amazing as always. Quick service and not a long wait. The only thing I would say is the staff could be a tiny bit more friendly for my liking.
A very good choice of dishes. Perhaps could be a bit smarter in appearance, chairs looked a bit tired, but cannot fault the food. I would definitely come here again.
Excellent food and service and a wonderful ambiance - will definitely be returning!
Wide range of food menu reasonable prices and a good location. Good solid cooking. Staff a bit grumpy but efficient.
We ordered garlic bread and pasta Norma and salad. The garlic bread was salad was lovely but the pasta was disappointing. The sauce was watered down and runny. We didn’t enjoy it. I don’t even think we finished it. Forced it in
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, varied menu, reasonabley priced
Great evening ambience and fantastic food. Highly recommended.
Lovely local authentic Italian.
We had a fantastic dinner here on Saturday the prawn starter was incredible as was the carbonara. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The kind waiter was amazing giving us the choice of what kind of pasta we wanted. The chocolate cake was really good and everything was so well priced. I am planning on going back next week.
Great food, the reviews saying the serves are generous are completely true. The antipasto plate is definitely something to share - I attempted on my own. Wine is a little expensive but this is the only bad thing I can say about it
I really enjoy the food and the service. The portion sizes are very big and food is delicious in general. Enjoy it!
Absolutely amazing food and genuine Italian atmosphere! We went for the vegetarian options and were completely satisfied and dazzled by the size of the portions! I am looking forward our next visit!!! Excellent!!!!
Fantastic value for money and such lovely food! Truly traditional and delicious would definitely recommend!
Enjoyable lunch at this modest Italian restaurant in West Hampstead.
It is much better and tastier that what it may seem when you walk in. Mama’s recipes!
This is the second visit to this authentic Italian restaurant and have already reviewed this after the first visit. Found almost by chance on line, it is very unassuming from the outside but you only have to look at the varied menu to know this is the real deal when it comes to Italian food. There is the choice of 3 different pastas and it is definitely 'Vegetarian' friendly which makes a pleasant change. Will definitely be returning at some point in the future.
We went to Bellaluna with a few friends. Food was ok, not amazing.
The food was really good. The portions of both starter and main were generous. The service is amazing. I would suggest though that the staff can smile more.
Not being local to West Hampstead it is obvious there is a lot of choice as far as restaurants go but this was a great find. On a hot Summer night the main doors were open onto the high street but it was not overly noisy and with the ambience almost felt like a dinner on holiday. The menu was vast but what we chose was excellent and all in all definitely worth a journey back again. We started with the garlic bread with mozzarella to share which was like a pizza with lots of garlic - deliciously simple. I had the 3 prawn pasta (you can chose from spaghetti, linguine or penne) with spaghetti and it was garnished with a huge piece of corriander, simple sauce and utterly morish and had to be finished. My friend had the seafood, mainly muscles, risotto which she thoroughly enjoyed. Polished off with a bottle of the Soave and at £60.00 for the 2 of us including service it will be on our list to return again. Highly recommended.
Food very fresh and tasty.
Generous portion size.
Well paced service.
We had an excellent dinner yesterday evening. Pizza are excellent and the tiramisu is outstanding! We will recommend this address for sure!
Huge size pizza, very tasty. Menu with loads of options, friendly service.
It is my restaurant of choice in West Hampstead. Very good food, pleasant staff, not noisy so you can talk, and not too expensive.
A pleasant small restaurant serving good Italian food.
OK, but not fine dining.
A straight mid range pizzeria. Ok but not great. Very good for families.
I have been going to Bella Luna with friends and family for the past couple of years. I can not fault this place. I love it so much I go every week!
Very acceptable neighbourhood trattoria
Looking for a change in West Hampstead. The reviews were pretty good.... well the food was nothing like the reviews. Not very exciting but edible is how I would describe the food - which is no recommendation really. The prawns in the avocado prawn starter were soggy (frozen ones I'm sure) and the glass of Rose was awful. The pasta mains were actually not bad but didn't look very appetising. A pity as the owner seemed very nice and wanted us to be happy with our meal.
It's a pity as there is a need for a really good Italian restaurant in the area. They are all pretty mediocre really.
Met friends here as convenient for West Hampstead Thameslink. Very pleasantly surprised at quality of food and amazing choice. Calamari was crisp and tasty and the veal good with just enough veg. Tables close together so not a place for a private conversation. Waiters pleasant though got orders mixed up but no major problem. Reasonably priced for so close to London.
This is one of those 'I don't fancy cooking, do you want to go to ____' type places. No frills, you know what you are getting and prices that won't burn a hole in your wallet.
The typical pastas, pizzas and chicken escalope dishes are all there. The food tastes great if not ground-breaking and the portion sizes are generous. The waiting staff were always polite without bring intrusive.
Great for big groups, it doesn't tend to get very busy and a very relaxed place for catch ups, casual dinners and generally when you just want to sit down, eat and wind down.
Food is amazing and the staff are great here - very friendly and accommodating. They even made up a portion of delicious homemade onion rings when my friend asked if they had any! The portions are very generous and great value for money, especially given the area and that you're in London! The atmosphere is great, with one exception - they play sport on the TV at the top of the restaurant which can be distracting - but it's an Italian restaurant so to be expected I guess! I would definitely recommend to all - suitable for groups, families, couples etc! Lovely.
Love it! Love it! Love it! Lovely food, friendly people and service.
Recommended to everyone!
A very good experience on New Year's eve. - the service was prompt and observant, my menu choices - the Bruschetta - was well prepared and very generously proportioned - and the Risotto Pescatora was excellent. My companions were happy with their choices too. I will certainly go back for more!
Great people! Great meal! Great time!😃went for Christmas Eve. We're treated like family
