The restaurant has a neighbourhood feel, with a warm and relaxed formal dining experience. Offering an oasis right in the centre of London, it has a charmingly romantic interior separated out into two distinct dining areas.
The first sits up and to the left, an intimate space with low ceilings while the other is indulging with ultra-high ceilings, hanging silver globes and silky walls lined with smoked mirrors. Take a second look and discover the eclectic mix of artwork boasting timeless pieces by the likes of Warhol and Damien Hirst.
The Belvedere excels itself in providing all the essential ingredients for a successful private dinner. Whether you are planning a wedding reception for 100 guests, a dinner party for up to 60 guests or a smaller intimate celebration on the mezzanine, we can provide the perfect surroundings.View Private Dining Details

The Belvedere is one of the loveliest settings in London being in the middle of Holland Park. But the situation only tells part of the story - the set lunch menu is fantastic value, with excellent choices. The service and food were excellent. We had a wonderful and generous portion of Gazpacho, followed by delicious lamb chops and a gorgeous terrine. Service was also superb. Highly recommended!!
lovely setting. Great value. Exquisite Food. Tom Seery FIH.
Awesome hidden gem inside Holland Park!
The restaurant was quiet, being a Thursday lunchtime, yet it retained its usual ambience. Food was excellent and the service perfect. One of the great benefits of dining at the Belvedere is there is plenty of room between tables, that allows you to have private conversations whilst enjoying good food.
What an excellent venue for pre opera dining.A simple but good menu to suit all tastes and very good service-for pre opera as an hour or just over works perfectly.Very efficient and nice attentive staff.
It was packed but not too noisy and for £100 for two with three course and wine is extremely good value
Very quiet with very little atmosphere and food was not special. Beautiful setting and paintings though.
Very average. I’d been looking forward to eating here for many years.
The service was just about functional, not a single member of staff smiled the whole time we were there.
The food was almost bland and the decor is tired / dated.
I wouldn’t go again.
My only complaint was that they were stacking the dirty dishes behind a curtain right behind my head and it was a bit loud.
Pretty setting, attractive room, but the restaurant was empty except for one other table.
The food was mediocre. The duck confit was grilled much too long (tough and burned), the vegetables were good. The other had as main dish fish and chips (NOT good), extra asparagus (3 small thin pieces!) and lots of half cooked spinach.
We can not recommend the place.
Lovely venue, attentive staff, my main bugbear was that the pianist, though their tunes were appropriate, was just too loud--at least, too loud for diners on the ground floor. We had to lean in and strain to hear each other!
A good place to eat after the opera. The set menu is good value, the food very good, the surroundings are pleasant, the service is efficient (you may have to ask for a thing or two rather being offered, such as water and the noise rather low (I don't know about the piano playing, though, I never thought it a good idea for someone to play music when hardly anyone is listening).
The food is mid to high-end gastro pub. The service is pretty basic - despite the restaurant being empty bar us and one other party, we had to resort to getting up to serve ourselves to our wine. It's really the location that's the winner but - even so, it's starting to show signs of under-investment with paint starting to peel.
Too long for waiter to bring bill. Happens every time. They looked irritated if you go up to the till.
Finding this place was slightly challenging, but it was literally a walk in the park, Holland Park that is. The setting was quite nice architecturally and the live piano player added a nice touch. I enjoyed my venison and red cabbage main course and found my chicken liver and fois gras parfait starter with apple chutney and sour dough toast to be totally on the mark.
The restaurant is so beautiful and in such a gorgeous setting. The food was great and the wine we had - Piqpoul - was absolutely delicious. But there's something about the layout of the tables that makes you feel slightly that you're eating in a school canteen!
The pianist played good music too
We had wonderful food, my Dover Sole was delicious as was the lamb which the others had. Would have been nice to know where the food was sourced. The beef was sourced in Scotland but the rest of the food ???? Will return.
Availed of the early bird offer between 6 and 7pm on a sunny evening with peacock strolling outside.
The food was very tasty- warm rolls, starters of crispy beef salad followed by confit duck with fondant potato and red cabbage. We shared a lovely cheese plate with generous portion of crackers. Half bottle Bordeaux at £31 was delicious. Attentive and friendly service in a lovely tranquil space. Excellent value if you are happy to dine early.
Waiters weren't very friendly, everything else was good.
Mediocre food and rushed service in a beautiful setting. This used to be a great restaurant under Marco Pierre White. No more. Below average, unimaginative dishes, especially the vegetarian ones.
Very popular spot. Lovely location. Background noise is minimal.
Always a pleasure to eat here. I appreciate the quiet ambience, increasing rare in London restaurants.
We shall come again and we shall continue to bring friends for a treat.
A return visit for the Sunday lunch menu - as usual great service and delicious food !!
Great place for Sunday lunch and very reasonably prices - £29 for three courses. It has all the classics that you would expect on a Sunday lunch menu so lots of choice. I probably won't go if I was veggie as the only option for main course was penne arrabbiata.
Nice restaurant in a nice location. Service was good waiting staff were attentive. Only thing to stop it scoring full marks, was that out booking was at 18:00 but they don't open till 18:00, on a Saturday.
Sadly empty but enjoyable meal...we were there for a business meeting with the events team
We have been to the Belvedere numerous times Over the years and it never fails to deliver a delicious meal in lovely surroundings
Lovely atmosphere for a Sunday lunch, live pianist added to the ambience, beautiful setting in the park
We had an excellent lunch - loved the venue - would definitely go back.
A beautiful victorian room to dine in looking out at the gardens of Holland Park. Good and varied menu choices. Efficient and friendly service. Excellent value for money, we were there for Sunday lunch, 3 courses £29.50. Would definitely recommend and revisit.
Delightful and elegant restaurant with peaceful surrounding of Holland Park. Great value lunch menu and delicious options . Calm and professional service. A real treat all round with a feel of yesteryear .
Fabulous restaurant. Have recommended it to serval friends and family and look forward to my next visit!
We had never been to the Belvedere before and what a treat it was! Superb setting in a really interesting building, complemented by delicious food and excellent service. We shall be back.
We had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner at this restaurant and everything was just perfect
Perfect valentines venue, loved everything!
Fantastic food, was very quiet on the night we attended but beautifully decorated and lovely ambiance
Superb setting, warm reception upon arrival. First class door and superb wine.
Outstanding value comparable to a couple of Michelin Star Restaurants I have been too near by
