Benihana Piccadilly

It was truly an amazing experience.
Food was good! And the chef was funny and entertaining.

Not the place to go if you want to leave with a full stomach. Very small portions for extortiante price all cooked on a hot plate. Worst rice I have ever had. Meat was average. Nothing I couldn’t of done at home.
Our chef didn’t really engage as much as we saw others.

Booked restaurant for a birthday celebration, all involved had a fantastic time. Will definitely return

Chef was full of humour and tricks to accompany the freshly made flavourful food. Staff brought out drinks and deserts out quite quick from the moment of being asked and the ambience was relaxed and romantic

Lovely and fun place to celebrate an important event.

Food was good but service was very poor. Waiter served my friend soup with meat in it after being told many times she was vegetarian. Came back after she’d started eating it to change to for another without any apology. Also no alternatives given for the non-vegetarian options. Highly recommend not to go if you have any dietary requirements.

Birthday celebration for my husband. It was a family occasion and we enjoyed the whole experience.

The food is excellent and it is important that the chef is both a good chef and showman.

Really enjoyed Benihanas - it was definitely all about the theatre, food was good but relatively expensive for what it was - so it really is the ‘theatre’ and ‘experience‘ you are paying for !

Great for a birthday with a group of family or friends, but in my opinion the kind of place you would probably only go to once.

Fabulous, we were giving our own private dining room called the Rocky room as it was my daughter 18th Birthday and there were 10 of us, i was very pleased indeed. We've been to The Benihana many times in different countries and have always been impressed with the food.

Absolutely amazing place to go, went for our anniversary and more than lived up to expectation. Food was amazing our chef Tom was hilarious made it a night to remember can’t wait to go back again too many overpriced places in London not worth the value this definitely is.. if you’re looking for a close and personal experience this is the place to go.. p.s I never write reviews but felt this deserved it!!

It is a good experience, but our chef did not seem as entertaining as on the other tables. It's not something that I would necessarily do again.

Took my wife back to place we used to go more than 15 years ago we loved Benihana ........
Everything was great till desert when I remember thinking that was quick to do tempura it’s came not warm at all and the batter craggy but we had to catch a train and the restaurant was closed so eat paid and left .......only to arrive home and both my wife and I feel
uncomfortable with loose tummy’s ??I feel it was from an old dish ........also remember the table behind saying they had to leave without their desert and as this dish was cool makes sense?
Real shame because all the memory and romance had gone, it just left a bitter taste............ and to be fair the restaurant is sooo tried!

As always, a fabulously theatrical experience at Benihanas, with superbly cooked and seasoned food to match. Really can't go wrong here if you appreciate hibachi.

Enjoyed the food atmosphere and we had a entertaining chef. We had both the chicken and steak which were both delicious!

I took my family to Benihana for my son's 5th birthday. The lady who welcomed us and took care of our coat was extremley rude: shrugging her shoulders, not making eye contact, not smiling. When I asked her to be more polite, she lost her temper, saying she did not need to impress me and change her body language for me. When I asked her to speak to the manager, she just ignored me. I was extremely disappointed as this was mean to be a fun, happy event for my family who were visiting from abroad. Thankfully, our cook was very funner, otherwise, it would have been a total disaster.

Amazing restaurant, great service, great food and great show !

We have been before and the table chef was very engaging and involved last time but not this time which was disappointing since that’s part of the reason for going.

Great food but all let down by the venue. Run down and old fashioned, thought Benihana would have been a nicer atmosphere
