Just a really cool experience.
Everything was just amazing, from you’re personal chef cooking in front of you to all the little touches they do. Would highly recommend.
Amazing experience even if it was a little on the expensive side (this could also be avoided by ordering less prosecco). Had a really funny chef, didn't nail all the tricks but all in all was really good. Would definitely go again.
Place was nice and overall it is a really good environment. The food we had was nice but didn’t think we had enough for the price we paid. We did not have any of the prawn starter or vegetables and asked if we could swap the prawn starter for a chicken starter and got told no.
It's not just good food, it's theatre as well. Our chef was very entertaining and the food he cooked on the teppan was delicious. Drinks are little on the expensive side, but the cocktails were fantastic.
Its good value teppanyaki entertainment for a first timer, but the Hibachi menu I would say is fairly bland and average, and nothing a Japanese person would be proud of.
Really enjoyed our time here. 10/10.
Great atmosphere lovely food and very entertaining. Loved it!
Food was very underwhelming, very bland and lacked flavours. The seasoning was rather basic - salt, black pepper and sesame seeds. The rice was just plain but it could have easily been served as egg fried rice. Very inferiorly tasting food compared to other Teppanyaki restaurants I've been to.
Food was as fantastic as ever. Not the first time I’ve been here and certainly won’t be the last. Service compliments the amazing quality of food and entertainment. Place like no other.
The food is amazing and i have been here 3 times already . I would recommend to friends and family
Very good and great experience and would recommend
Great night out and great chef. Good social distancing observed and plenty of hand sanitizer. Food tasted fresh and delicious. Noise is moderate only because of the chopping knives and cooking - not enough to ruin a conversation with friends. Absolutely fab
Arriving at the restaurant we sanitised our hands!
The chef was good and was chatting and asking questions how we liked our food!
Nice bottle of wine
Had a lovely time
Good quality food at reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends.
We had a great evening, the food was excellent and very fresh – the chef was most professional, and good fun. The only reason we do not give it five stars is surprisingly, they do not serve Japanese-style tea.
We sat in a corner with a drab background, no decours just plain brown painted wall
Beautiful- could have had salt and pepper on the dining table but the food was great quality
Staff were very friendly and the kids had a great time!
Went for son's 18th birthday. Food was excellent - everything we tasted was fresh and extremely tasty. The show cooking element was fun, sadly the mask the chef had to wear did make hearing his patter a little difficult. I felt the place lacked the atmosphere and pizzazz you would expect when paying the prices charged - it felt a little lacklustre but definitely not through any fault of the staff, who were excellent throughout. Perhaps in this post-Covid time this is unfortunately what the experience will be like through no fault of their own.
Awesome experience. Thanks for excellent service 😍
Went for the first time it was such a vibe. The service was lovely the cooks are so friendly and had us laughing the entire time. Defiantly expect them to put on a show!
The food was good and served hot and I wasn’t disappointed but the meal could have had a bit more salt (Personal preference).
It’s defiantly the place to go in a big group. They even surprised us with a birthday surprise, which was nice.
Bare in mind there’s a service fee.
I was really looking forward to my wifes birthday evening at benihanato enjoy Japanese cuisine and the ambiance of tepenyaki..
however our food was cooked by a what I can describe as a Turkish Keebab man who to say the least was not putting on a show like many of the other chefs..
So much fun, amazing patter and tricks, expensive but you have your own personal chef! Steak was a disappointingly chewy but everything else was delicious, we had a great time. Very child friendly too.
Service and the show of cooking very good. The food was terrible from start to finish. We all had steak and you could not chew it was terrible
This is our second time visiting as a couple and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was outstanding, staff were very accommodating and hospitable. Cannot wait to come back!
Food was perfect, good portions, great entertainment for kids, lunch menu was perfect!
Amazing service provided by staff of Benihana! Chef was entertaining and made very fresh and tasty food in front of guests.
Great service funny cook very nice would come again
Very disappointing!! I took my daughters for dinner as it was my youngest’s birthday and she loves teppanyaki. Apart from the chef the food was average and the service and ambience awful. Half way through our meal there were many team members cleaning tables around giving you the feeling that they all just wanted us to hurry up and leave so they could clean up and go home. Definitely would not recommend or return.
Excellent meal, great atmosphere and great service definitely go back again
Food was good
Our chef was great fun. Great bubbly personality. Makes the experience great.
Would recommend and will definitely go again.
Great food, great service. Can't fault the whole experience. I will definitely go back.
Lovely time me and my partner had. It was his birthday meal and the chefs made it special for us. The service was great - waiters would ensure you have what is needed. The price is a bit encentric but worth trying for the first time. Great experience overall.
It was my first time eating at Benihana and sadly I left feeling quite disappointed. The atmosphere was quite dull. I also had to keep asking for things that should have been offered or given to me such as a kids menu, monthly special menu, the rice that was supposed to come with my meal, the dessert that was suppose to come with my meal etc. It was very bad. My child was quite unsettled and it would have been nice if they provided some sort of entertainment as a distraction until food arrived such as colouring in, something simple. As a first time customer it would have also been nice if they asked me whether I had been there before and to explain how everything works. It was all quite slap dash. The food was ok, the nicest thing was the prawns. I would maybe try it again in the evening to see if there is a more exciting atmosphere as we were there during lunchtime but I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.
Always a treat. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. The chefs are always brilliant and make the experience.
The entertainment while cooking was good and fun but apart from that nothing else was up to standard.
Pinacolada was so basic watery The food was too oily the quality and price don’t marry. I won’t be returning.
I would of left a 6 star review if I could, amazing food, brilliant entertaining chef, was the best part of our trip to London, thank you guys
Friendly and accommodating staff, engaging and funny chef. Delicious food and service. Was a little quiet but i think that was more to do with the time of day we went thank anything. Really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely visit again. Thank you !
It was such an amazing experience i will definitely becoming back again
Amazing experience. Amazing food and drinks. Would definitely recommend
