Too noisy!! Too noisy! Too noisy!
Too noisy!! Too noisy! Too noisy!
Love the chef table. Love Josh!! Service is awesome!
Once again, Betty delivers. An outstanding dinner with great service. There was a point a bit earlier in the year where things seemed to have slipped a bit but it is now back to being a great dining experience. We look forward to our next visit.
The food is always delicious at Betty’s! Love the employees - so friendly!
Sat watching the chefs prepare dinner. They shared, they cooked, they delivered.
Husband says it's the best steak frites he's ever had, which says a lot. Stone fruit and prosciutto salad was also amazing. Highly recommend.
great atmosphere and service. we sat on the back patio. very relaxed. we had oysters on the half shell that were fabulous and burgers and fries. Both burgers cooked perfectly to our different likings. The fries were also amazing. Looking forward to going back to try more dinner options
Delicious entrees. Definitely hot, due to open kitchen and no air conditioning on, but that's only an issue a few times a year in Seattle. :) WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK!
Great place, great service, I just truly wish they had more to offer vegetarians. Pasta Premavera is just so 1990's, so uninspired and uninspiring...
I had the best vodka martini with an orange twist. This is my standard order. I don't know if it was the organic vodka or the perfect orange. All four of our meals were also lovely.
Great place to have cocktails.
We got there and were seated immediately. The staff was the right balance of attentive vs too much in your space. The food was delicious and served quickly. As the restaurant filled up around us, the noise levels were still totally great. You could hear that people were talking but I never felt I had to raise my own volume to have my conversation. Everything was great and I recommend this restaurant!
Overall, it was a decent meal. However, prices seemed quite high for small portions. I think the quality was not quite worth the cost.
Betty continues to provide excellent food with efficient and friendly service in a hip, casual environment. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed that, for the first time in my dining experience at Betty, there were no vegetarian entrees available. So we were forced to subsist on salads and small plates. Despite this, our meal was divine. We had a wonderful green bean salad with a peach vinegarette, a Mediterranean spreads plate, roasted chick peas, and fried green tomatoes. Everything was very tasty and satisfying. Probably the weakest dish were the chickpeas—though delicious, I tired of them pretty quickly.
The service is quite casual but very friendly and very efficient. The room is rather dark and pretty noisy, but the atmosphere is homey and comfortable. I would have preferred a vegetarian entree and hope that they provide at least one in the future.
Service was great!
We had the Kale Salad which we literately scraped clean. Lamb was delicious and flavorful!
I had heard a lot of good things about the restaurant and was excited to try it. We chose to sit on the patio, which was nice. I think our server had tables both inside and outside, because she seemed to disappear for periods of time. The food was OK. We ordered from the Happy Hour menu. We tried the shredded pork tacos, mixed green salad and the salami plate. If we returned I would like to try items off their dinner menu. We also ordered dessert, but after waiting for 20 minutes for a slice of cake we learned that the kitchen burned the cake when warming it up. We cancelled the dessert and our waitress comp'd the drinks we had to make up for it. I thought this was a class act move, as we didn't ask for any compensation for the error.
Stumbled onto this gem. Outdoor dining was perfect. Happy hour was great with yummy drink selections. Would return on our next trip to Seattle.
The entry way was dirty when we arrived and the people leaving had obviously had too much to drink. The food was ok - not great. Asked for a med-well done steak and got one that was nearly raw, smothered in a sauce that detracted from the taste of the steak. They re-did it but of course that throws off the mood and pace of the meal when you are eating with others. The fried green tomatoes were excellent. Service was OK - she tried to make up for it and bought me a glass of wine but for $35 - I expect a better attempt to get the steak cooked right the first time.
Wouldn't recommend or go again.
The food is always delicious. You can’t beat the happy hour. I love to sit at the counter and watch the chefs. They also have outside seating!
Two friends and I met there before a "book reading" at Queen Anne Bookstore... I had the lamb and it was fabulous when it came to seasoning and portions - definitely worth the value! One friend had I think was the puttanesca and the other had the steak and frits... and I heard no complaints from either companion!
Service was very personable and knowledgeable... for both food and wine!
I have eaten there a couple of times before once for dinner and the other time for lunch with a group... I enjoyed it enough, that I was looking forward to eating there the last time!
ps: I had reservation on 6/19 at 5:15 PM.... :)
I sat at the counter and got to watch the chefs prepare the food. The server was kind and energetic and attentive. Literally everything looked amazing!
Cool spot in the “hood” Always great to find a place like this, attention to detail in the food prep and the taste… Yum Yum will definitely come back it has a cool ambience as well. And a goodly amount of attention from the staff…
We had a lovely evening dining at Betty. We would go back again and recommend it to friends.
Flavorful touches to every portion. We deconstructed flavors so we could duplicate at home. Delicious salad and best halibut ever!
Great food and service. Love sitting at bar watching the chefs!
I always feel welcomed here whether alone or with others. Food is reliably good. Staff is kind and makes every effort to accommodate. Great asset for the Queen Anne neighborhood.
Loved the staff (our server was stellar) and the food was delicious, as always.
Wonderful halibut and pork main entrees! Service also wonderful! Conversation easily heard.
As always - staff, chefs and service were exceptional. Our favorite neighborhood diner.
They held our table when we were late due to traffic, even called to check on us before cancelling our reservation. The food and service we were over all excellent.
Always a great experience. Love their salads.
Came on a Sunday night with a group of 12, including visitors from Africa and UK. The service was attentive, everyone was delighted with their meals, and they even made sure to adjust a meal for Gluten Free. We had a perfect evening!
Great food service and price! What’s not to like?
Love Betty's the steak is to die for and we had the Raspberry Cabernet Sorbet that was so very delicious! I am not deducting a star but had made reservations way ahead of time and asked for a window seat in front...they called to confirm and they wanted to stick me in the bar area and I said no I wanted a window seat in front and she said ok because I was with a couple of elderly women friends...where were we put in the bar area back in a corner! A little ticked off but I still love this place. Next time I won't make reservations a week ahead because it didn't matter the people who walked in ahead of us got the window seat in front and they didn't even have reservations...so I would say just walk in, you will get a better seat!!!
Great food and service, as always!
The food was delicious. Live to eat there
Came with friends for an early dinner (pre-ballet). We had a reservation for 5:30. Everything was fine until our server cleared our entrees and tried to rush us out. When I told her we weren’t in a hurry (we’d only been there a little over an hour) and would like to see the dessert menu she said there was a 7pm booking and they needed the table?! Let her know that was her problem- frankly if we wanted fast food we would have gone somewhere else and paid a whole lot less (sans the attitude). We proceeded to order dessert and took our time. In the end, the waitress Lamely apologized that the host failed to tell us before we were seated. Frankly a manager should have come by, apologized and comped us a drink or dessert. Not cool, don’t recommend and won’t be back.
Sitting at the “Chefs’ counter” was fun. Bird’s eye view of cooking and plating with very conversant staff.
