Staff very rude, to much trouble to service our group
On word - AVOID! There are 100's of Indian Restaurants in London who deserve patronage more than Bhatti.
Not a great place. Food was bad and overpriced
Always great food here and the staff give lovely service also very friendly. Considering where it is in central London the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be returning here 👍
Had a lovely meal here after seeing an early show.
Service and food were very good. Reasonably prices considering it’s in central London. Will definitely return here to eat.
First time visitor. I was a bit concerned at being the only patrons on a Friday lunchtime but I need not have worried. The food was very good and service was great as we were the only guests! I'm reliably informed the place takes off in the evenings but once again, you wont be disappointed with the food.
Really great meal and service was impeccable. Lamb starter was delicious as were the tandoori prawns.
Vacation dining
Food was standard.
Poor Indian food where most dishes seemed to have the same sauce lacking flavour and just a taste of chilli. Service was good and friendly but not really Indian food
My wife and I booked a meal on New Years Eve. The restaurant was fairly quiet but a pleasant atmosphere. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was was excellent. Really tasty and fairly hot when it should have been. A really excellent meal.
We had a really good evening. I was dining with 8 blind & visually impaired people & the staff couldn't have more helpful. I was impressed with the great service, lovely restaurant & food. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great service with friendly staff, really tasty food- would return!
Very busy, but staffed coped, good service with generous menu. Enjoyable for a group of us.
We chose this restaurant to have diner while we were visiting London for its reviews on the good food. The food was in deed good but the portions are poor. But the worst part of all was the service. From the beginning we felt very uncomfortable by the waiter who was rather arrogant and had rude manners. There are hundreds of Indian restaurants in London, so why not choose one where the food is good and you are well treated.
We had a two course meal at this restaurant. The service was good and the ambience was fine. The starters were also good. The main course, lamb korai was okay, I've had much better. The vegetable dishes were mediocre.
The wine was extremely expensive, most bottles were on average £38.00. We settled for half a bottle, around £14.00. The food was also generally expensive but for Open -Table.
My friend and I went to Bhatti for the first time for 20 years and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. the staff were excellent and the food very enjoyable. we wont be waiting another 20 years before we return.
The place was packed - I think we were all there for the 50 percent off deal cuz you wouldn't eat there if you had to pay full price. Watery dahl.. Sugar added to most of the dishes... Do they think we don't know what Indian food should taste like?!
very warm welcome at the front door as if you have walked into a friends house for dinner. excellent variety in menu and finger licking authentic Indian food in central london. i have never had this good quality and blend of spices in London before, been dining out for long time in London
Food was ok, service was pretty average. Bill, in spite of OpenTable offer was reasonably high although perhaps down to a bit of over-ordering. Hefty service charge added to bill. Table they gave us was reasonably isolated, which suited our large group.
got a 50% off deal , food was good all in all great value
ambience and decor could be nicer though
very nice staff
Tried several things from the menu between us - everything was fine but not much better than your average local takeaway. Waiter told us we had not ordered enough food but we didnt listen to him and in the end we didnt even finish what we had.
With 50% off it was acceptable, at full price I would be very disappointed - starters and rice/bread are very expensive in particular. Service charge is added.
This was good traditional Indian food and very good value with the Toptable deal. Found it a bit odd we were given a table at the back in the corner when there were nicer tables available in the front - we then got slightly forgotten at times!
The only thing I disliked is it's one of those restaurants where they decide how much the tip should be and automatically add it onto the bill. They should just call it a tax rather than service. The only say I have in the process is whether I want to embaress myself and ask them to take it off
Went with a group of friends. Waiter was friendly and responded well to our banter. Food came quickly. Starters were lovely My curry was a little disappointing. Dhansak which was unnecessarily hot! Having said that, all others were happy with their choices, and I would go back again.
The food was ok but not particularly inspiring. Mixed grill was ok but I have had better. The chicken dhansak was better. The vegetable side dishes were fine also. Good value with top table 50% discount but without the discount I would have been disappointed.
Good service, good food, served in good time.
Bhatti does the Indian restaurant classics adequately, just about, but with a complete absence of personality and flair. Mutton biryani was a large, well-spiced portion, but the accompanying veg curry was dull and lifeless. Chicken tikka Lahori was bland and anaemic. Chicken jalfrezi arrived in an ocean of sloppy gravy. Parathas and naans were very good. The meal for 3, with drinks, came to £43 with the toptable deal. Excellent value if you really must have an old-school curry in the West End, but nothing we ate made me want to go back any time soon.
Went out for a couple of beers and then the obligatory curry with a couple of old work buddies on Friday to Bhatti. Was very impressed with the service, tasty food and (with the 50% TT deal) terrific value. Will definitely go again.
We were in a bit of a rush during our meal at Bhatti - we only had about 30mins to order eat and race off to the theatre. The staff were very quick and all our food was delivered in good time - impressive! The food was good and reasonably priced, but be warned - the drinks are charged at a premium and will knock your bill up considerably.
I have been her twice before and enjoyed the experience and the food was good. This time all I can say was it was ok.
The garlic chilli naan was very good though
We booked for a Friday night at 8pm and were the first to be sitting down. Unfortunately not a very popular restaurant however food and service excellent.
Average Bangladeshi Cuisine, the staff are quite pushy but also helpful.
