Was not told restaurant had cancelled table until we turned up to eat
I definitely recommend this place. I am quite used to Italian food and I can say this is the best one in the area. The pizza is a must-try but do not miss the great starters too. Particularly, I recommend the deep fried dough balls.
Really good... perfect pizzas, staff were lovely
Had a lovely meal. The Sea bass could have done with a little more something on the plate
Service was very poor unfortunately ☹️
I had a gluten free pizza base and it was very thick I couldn't eat much of it. It was Valentines evening so a busy night but all the staff we very helpful and friendly I I wasn't charged for my pizza. My friend really enjoyed hers.
Pizza and service very good, Toilets need a bit of TLC.
Pizza is amazing, everything really well in general, I will come back for sure
Overall an excellent lunch GF son appreciated being able to have a starter and a main without any difficulty.
We will be back
overall very good but on the last 4 visits no Gavi de Gavi. If no longer available take from the menu please.
The food and service was nice. Definitely will come back.
Best pizza in South East London. Great menu choices & delicious sourdough pizza. At the weekend there is a small play area & free babysitting service which our toddler enjoyed, will definitely make the most of that next time we visit!
Bianco 43 is a very good version of a pizza and pasta place. Very good food; very good wine and excellent service in a good environment..
Good food and service. The waitress took down the order wrong but as an apology did not charge us for one of the dishes and it didn't really take very long to come out anyway so we were happy. Good place.
Awful Restaurant. Service absolutely terrible, waiter could barely understand English. Food shocking. Would never return.
High quality food, extremely friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Quick Family get together over Pizza and pasta - Pizzas were great!!
Just love this place. Always good and always busy! Pizzas are heavenly as are the Negronis
Pizza was freshly made and really good, but Lasagne was half frozen.
Food really lovely and tasty and good portion sizes. Staff friendly, however service slow, we had to ask for drinks several times, re-orders of drinks were forgotten, the food took a while to come and then the pasta dish was forgotten an came out quite a bit after the pizzas. Very relaxed and laid back, but perhaps a little too much so. That said would recommend as food is good, just don’t go when your already very hungry!
Great service as always and our daughter loved the babysitting area.
It was amazing, as always.
Pizzas and calzzone are the best ones!
Buzzy, friendly atmosphere in the restaurant and the chefs and waiting staff were all really cheery and helpful even though it was very busy. Pizza dough is delicious and there is a good range of pizza toppings. Only complaint is that it wasn't absolutely clear that my gourmet pizza was not tomato based but perhaps I need to read the menu more carefully! Good range of food and drinks for adults; children's drinks and desserts a bit limited. Would definitely come back.
When I booked the table, I put in the notes section online I was a gluten free vegan. I only could eat the salad and could not eat dessert. No one contacted me to tell me that my choices would be limited before I got there. Very poor service, waiters were more interested in chatting with each other rather than being attentive to customers.
Good was not up to the expectations. We had pizza
We went on a Sunday afternoon to take advantage of the free babysitting service. We both had pizzas which were delicious and our daughter was quite pleased with her chicken nuggets and smiley chips. We were able to eat our food while our daughter played with the toys and was entertained by the babysitter. They are really good at bringing out the kids food first, which makes life easier. The kids can take a balloon with them when they leave. Cannot recommend enough if you want a relaxing Sunday lunch.
Really excellent pizza. We had an Italian friend in our group and she approved them! With wine, beer and service it's really good value.
As always, friendly and helpful staff, and good value food.
Personally I could do with slightly less audible music, so one star off on ambience.
We had heard from Friends that Bianco's food was great and was definitely a place to go, although the Service was good the food was poor
+ 12 inch pizza .. only 9 inch covered with topping
+ Special Pizza . 1 King prawn and 1 chopped up ( not good enough for a Special )
+ Lasagne was cold in the middle
The only good thing was the starter .. which was cured meats which they didn't have to cook.
Recommended place if you like roman style italian pizza. However, all the other dishes are delicious too. The restaurant is spacious and normally quite enough to enjoy your lunch or dinner.
We celebrated my husband's 65th birthday here. Food was lovely, staff very friendly; however overall we felt it was a bit pricey at nearly £50 a head for what is basically a pizza restaurant albeit in Blackheath.
Lovely place and pizza, very close to the station!
parking a bit limited, but for locals a easy walk and great to have a restaurant serving honest italian food with no pretensions in the furnishings or on the plate. Lunchtime offers well worth looking out for
Surprisingly good starters and pizzas. Walked past many times but had no idea the food was so good - lots of GF options for my girlfriend too
No ventilation, air con not working, very slow service and was less than 1/3 full. Food was ok but not worth the wait
Food was ok, but not up to usual standards, service started well but declined when busy, so much so we didn’t order dessert as we were worried how long we might wait. The second carafe of wine didn’t arrive and we had to ask again and were kept waiting a long time for our bill.
Another successful mini-treat at Bianco 43; lovely pizza dough and topping, friendly staff.
Only sell half pints of lager
Lovely service and food. The babysitting service is a big plus
