Good for gathering with friends, especially if you/them have kids!
Service is very friendly and food is good!
Only negative point: no baby changing facilities in the bathroom... hope they fix that soon!
We wanted traditional wood fired pizza and while they were generally good pizzas, they were a bit thick, lots of doughy crust, not as thin a crust as we maybe expected. The ambiance was lovely, not too loud, we could enjoy some great conversation and didn’t feel like we were being over heard, and neither did we have to shout. The service was a tad too casual and not very attentive, with us having to call waiters to ask for water and one of us had to get up to look for a waiter so we could pay after waiting quite a while.
It’s a nice venue, but the food was incredibly salty. Staff were nice
Disappointing pizzas. Background music was very loud. Will not be eating there again.
It was great! Super nice staff and amazing food and drinks!
Calamari and zucchini tempura was fabulous. I had the pappardelle bolognese and it was as good as any I have had at very very expensive Italian restaurants. This was a wonderful last minute find.
A pre theatre set menu was advertised on the website and in the restaurant, but this wasn't available as they were '' changing the menu, so using up the ingredients'', so despite the same dishes being on the menu we were offered, we couldn't have the present theatre menu, so we left and found an alternative restaurant.
huge and lovely pizza and good service, will definitely be returning
I have visited Bianco 43 several times after discovering it tucked conveniently near to Charing Cross. The pizzas, although a touch dearer than, say, Pizza Express, are twice as good, bigger and more authentic.
Service by young waiters is always spot on - friendly but unobtrusive. There is a wide choice of pizzas, but also they do some excellent starters - would especially recommend the deep fried squid and courgette. Good choice of other main courses too.
Cost for two people, for two courses, wine and coffee is usually around £55 inc service, so great value for a lovely spot in central London!
Near Trafalgar Square. Open Table map takes you to the wrong location and provided the wrong phone#. Search 'Bianco 43" directly in Google maps to get the right location & phone. Pizza was good. House red was good. Ambiance was great. Cool digs.
Food was only ok. Fun location, though!
This was an accidental find for us. The food and service were great. The only downside was the table was too small for our party of 3 to share the antipasti, pizza and pasta, so we had to order one thing at a time instead. Overall, we had a great evening. I will definitely ask for a bigger table next time I make the booking.
This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised at surroundings and the quality of the pizzas. They were particularly delicious.
Staff excellent and very accommodating. Food was only ok, my seafood lnguine was overcooked and bland and seafood did not taste fresh. But the restaurant is lovely and good atmosphere. They had gluten free pasta option for my son. Overall, food is mediocre but service and atmosphere makes up for it.
Locale assolutamente consigliato sia per il servizio e sia per il cibo. La pizza è buonissima e anche i dolci sono assolutamente consigliati. Posto da provare!!!
The restaurant looked lovely, and good location. Three of us had pizza, which was very good. However, those who had the other main courses were very disappointed. One of our party had the chicken, which was undercooked, and the salad was very basic - when she complained, she was told that it 'looked normal' and maybe we weren't used to the Italian way of cooking chicken! Surely, no chicken should be served undercooked? It was however, removed from the bill. One of us ordered an espresso, which when it arrived was just a cup, with no coffee at all in it - when we told the waitress, she said 'it's espresso'. There was not the least drop of coffee in the cup! It was really funny, and she did bring another cup - but it was the assumption that we didn't know what an espresso should look like, that was slightly odd! A strange experience!
The food was amazing, really enjoyed the evening out with the team . Waiting staff were very friendly and pleasant. Booking of the set Christmas meal was very good value for money.
Do not agree with being charged a compulsory service charge when going up to the bar to buy a drink, this was not part of the table service.
excellent service from Emanuela, simple nice Italian food
Great food, terrible service - very slow, had to wait a long time for each course, needed to ask for water multiple times before we received any. Drinks order wrong twice. I never write reviews but felt I must so the restaurant recognise it. They do really good food but severely let down by the staff they employ, they have no interest in their jobs at all!
Poor customer service. Surly, inattentive staff. Pricey, average cuisine. Celebrating my special MBE award from the Palace. The dining experience was anything but special. JB
I’ve had a really good time with my girlfriend, definitely coming again sometime in the future!
Nothing special - looks better on pictures, than inside. Friendly staff but you don't really feel special. We had a date night but the atmosphere is just not all that.
Overall disappointing for an authentic Italian restaurant. Brought our main courses before the starter, which we sent back then once we had the starters tried to represent the same main courses - salad that had been kept under the hotplate and was 20 mins old. Then they tried to convince us it was fresh dishes then agreed to replace them, and then brought the same pizza back 2 mins later and tried to pass it off as freshly cooked. The food was actually ok, but would have given 0 stars for service if the app allowed. If it hadn’t been late evening and we just wanted to eat, we would have walked out. Won’t be going there again.
28 of us descended on BIANCO43 with no warning as our booking elsewhere had been messed up. We were very quickly welcomed and seated. Food orders were taken without fuss and all orders arrived together. The food and service were amazing. Highly recommend!
The food was okay. Pizza was good. Bread for the bruschetta was burnt and too thick. We asked for "garlic butter" for the dough balls, and were met with a response of "we don't have that, but we have butter, and garlic" which they brought us. The waiter was very literal - we recieved a bowl of cold butter, and a clove of garlic.
Service was also very slow.
Fab little independent Italian in the heart of
The potato croquettes were served cold and mushy. Food was ok. I've been here before and I've always had a nice time. This time was a little disappointing. Even the cocktails were just ok. Also there was happy hour but we weren't allowed to enjoy it at the table but had to go to the bar if we wanted to take up the offer and then move to the table. There were plenty of tables available so I don't know why they just didn't allow us to have them at the table. Also price for the QUALITY of food was a little much...
Whilst the restaurant was very nice and the location was good, we were pretty much the only people there on a Saturday around 5:30pm. There was no atmosphere, there were more staff than there were customers. The food was good but unfortunately not out of this world hence why we didn’t stay for too long and have more to drink. The staff were friendly and seemed nice.
Nice location lovely pizzas but lacked ambience
The food was underwhelming. The pizza was soggy, though the sauce was tasty. The frito misto was bland and boring. The desserts were also quite bland, and the choice of ice cream uninspiring.
Pizza was amazing! Service fantastic. Will definitely return...
Went twice in 3 days. Loved the pasta and eggplant parmigiana. Servers are sweet and good. Food yummy. Good Italian wine.
Excellent food and service great value
Loved the quirky menus
Good cocktail and nice food - service was relatively quick for pre theatre dining.
Delicious food, excellent service. Place was good enough that we went back the next day for more!
The pizza was delicious and the service was great.
Nice restaurant, cool on a warm day. Staff seemed inexperienced but were very willing and there was no rush to get us out of the door after we had eaten. Food was standard Italian fare. May just have been a bad glass but the house red is definitely not recommended.
Nice central location with good food. Patron was looking after the customers and made us feel comfortable. We'll be back!
Friendly staff, good menu choice, decent portion sizes and lovely fresh pasta dishes. Accepting discount cards (gourmet, taste) is a bonus and makes this an all round good restaurant.
