A good experience overall. The restaurant was very busy which surprised me given it was a Wednesday evening in January but it made for a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, this did impact the level of service on the night as we were left waiting for drinks and food for sometimes half an hour to then be brought both food and drinks we hadn't ordered. The staff were rushed off of their feet but were professional and attentive. Food was average I would say and certainly not as good as their other restaurant on Covent Garden. I would only consider returning as part of a larger party where I'd be less bothered about service.
We were disappointed with our visit, my partner had visited before once but it was my first visit so I was disappointed that it didn’t live up to expectations.
We were told via email that the kitchen/bar would be shut by 10pm but that was fine, but when we arrived, we were told that the kitchen was now closing at 8.45pm but we had a reservation for 8pm, it felt rushed and wasn’t as enjoyable as it should have been.
The food was brilliant, it was a shame that we didn’t get a chance to try any cocktails or puddings.
Great food and spacious at the Canary Wharf location. Daily deals are good value. Only negative was it closed early on Monday and only informed when we arrived.
Food was excellent and the service was prompt and friendly.
Service good as usual. Have been many times. However this is the first time I thought the food was poor.
Don't think the chef has had the usual training. Ribs a bit to hard and dry. Shrimps well over cooked to the point you could really peel them. Chips came out uncooked.
I'm putting it down to a one off.
Prices are very high for a low quality food. The staff is loud and continuously screams for table numbers. Apart from this, it is a cool place and the ambience is nice.
The food at the Big Easy Canarh Wharf was outstanding and I will definitely be returning again with more people! The ambiance was great. I clearly picked the right place to celebrate my birthday in!!
I have had many good experiences here but was really disappointed with my last visit. Was given the wrong drinks twice. Ordered food and one of the meals our server never ordered it so one of our guests had to eat his meal after we were all finished. The server didn't seem too concerned that this happened. The food was amazing though so I would go again.
Excellent value for lobster dinner. Cocktails are really good. I would recommend it to any seafood lover. Can't wait to go back again.
My favourite in canary wharf
My first time - Great place, defantly worth a vist 👍🏻 10/10
Food amazing especially the chicken tender starters staff all lovely will defo be back
Getting the check took for ever.
Really good service and overall though level of noise makes chats a bit difficult.
Great place certainly for fish and meat lovers! The portions are huge and we were given food boxes to take away as we couldn’t eat it all!! The background music is good and it has a buzzy atmosphere. It’s certainly very popular for all including families. Best to book if you want a table.
Bad service and absolutely crap hated it waited so long for a table reception was so rude will not be going back and will let people know of the crap service we received
A relaxed and vibrant venue with good food and a lovely atmosphere!
It was great. Definitely go back
Very good experience. Great food, great wine and nice staff.
Great food, lovely location but service could have been better and they knew it was a birthday but made no effort to recognise it.
Great authentic barbeque food, great ambieance and service and the live music was also particularly great the night I visited. Wasn't the first time I was here and definitely won't be the last.
Went with my partner for New Year dinner. We have ordered for starter hush puppies which I thought were bland . My partner had double bacon cheeseburger. The burger was a bit dry and bland. I had garlic butter prawns which were a bit overdone and there was not enough batter. We wanted something for a dessert but after half an hour we finished our food no one even bothered to clean the table or offer dessert menu and we gave up. I had to make my way to ask for a bill.
It was my third time visit and if I honest I’m not sure of going back there.
Great food, good atmosphere, there was some confusion at the reception though as they couldn't find our booking.
You have to book in advance, as it is always busy.
Honestly the food standard as in taste & flavour has dropped for instance the Mac & Cheese with lobster was not good.
The cornbread remains yummy!!! Thankful
great atomsphere, great food and very attentive service.
Loved it 😋will definitely recommend to friends and family
We have been a few times before but think this will be the last time. The shrimp basket was very greasy and some of the shrimp had a slight amonia taste. The happy hour cocktails seemed good value but the alcohol content was dubious i had 2 pints of pina colada and didnt feel like i had drunk any alcohol. The smores fonue dessert just seemed to be very expensive marshmallows accompanied by rich tea fingers and not graham crackers as advertised. The staff however were friendly and polite the location is lovely its just a shame the food and value for money aren't adding to it at all.
My family and I have visited twice for our end of year celebrations and also for our birthdays in December and January, respectively and found that this place tops a lot of other restaurants. We loved the food, which was quite in serving, esp. the lobster! Yum! Everything was tasty and delicious! So we will definitely visit again in the near future!
The hot links and BBQ wings were delicious. The BBQ ribs and seafood dishes left something to be desired and were decidedly not authentic New Orleans style dishes.
Great experience, maybe only improvement is faster service
Food was terrible. When you first arrive, you feel it’s going to be quite cool- as the atmosphere is vibrant. It’s feels as though the quality of food will be similar to a Burger and lobster restaurant, buts it’s not! This restaurant is a gloried TGI Friday’s. Big let down, would not return.
First visit and will be back. So much choice on the menu. Kids (9 and 15) loved it too with youngest declaring it the favourite restaurant! Chicken and ribs sharing platter was lovely.
Lovely food and atmosphere. We went for a birthday (6 people) and although not a cheap meal... it was well worth the money and we will definitely go again.
Been to big eazy for a few years now at least once every 2 weeks Overall good standard the food standards has dropped a bit not where I would stop going yet overall still good 🤔
Will check or the one in the city to see how that one fairs
Food was decent however you won’t get much out of the one pound lobster so that was pretty disappointing. Service is fast atmosphere is good but don’t like tables being so close to each other couple next to us kept staring at us which was annoying!
Great restaurant, delicious food. Staff is very friendly and professional.
Arrived half an hour early for our table but were given a table straight away. Food was excellent. It was very busy but service was great and we did not have long too wait for our food or drinks.
Had a lovely visit for my friend’s birthday. We enjoyed the Weekend Brunch. The Lobster Mac n Cheese is always amazing and never fails to disappoint but had a bottle of
Prosecco each which washed the food down nicely!
The worst restaurant I’ve been to. Poor service, but most of all very slow served. We ordered one home salad, one fajita, one potatoes, one lobster roll and two calamari and some beer. Well, the potatoes were served 20 mins before the remaining food had been served, and were not the potatoes we ordered. Then the remaining food arrived, last after like 5 minutes the home salad, which was supposed to be the first one to be served. We are the food, calamari was cold, lobster roll with just a tiny piece of lobster. Eventually after 2 hours, because to have this food and eat it took us 2 hours , we asked for a dessert- chocolate waffle. We waited for 20 mins and at some point I complained to the waiter. I asked to cancel the dessert but then eventually it was served. Living in Canary Wharf and in London I was expecting a much better service and food quality given the price you pay. Customer service was miserable and kitchen was too slow, maybe short of staff but still you pay full price as
Any other day of the year. I regret I did not speak with the manager. I ruined my night and my relatives visiting London.
I would never go back and never reccomend it. Also the fajitas included one beer, so
We had the beer but we were charged for it because we had a pint, while the fajita included only half pint. Totally disappointed, worst place I’ve ever eaten at in London .
Lobster and crab claws are hard to eat, steak is not good
