Big Easy Covent Garden
Very good service :) the only down side is we got are food before are drinks and it was was all too quick .. but the staff were very nice and all helpful :) x
We had a great host, food and venue were also very good. we were sat right by the stage, which made conversation a real challenge towards the end of our meal, when the band started their set.
If, like me, you were catching up with old friends and family, you will want a table away from the band. If you are there for the music, then the band were actually quite good.
Excellent food and good vibes. Have been coming here for the past 3 years and love it every time.
Absolutely excellent service. One person in our party has a citrus allergy and the staff at bigeasy went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok and took care of us really well.
Restaurant was very relaxed and there was a good atmosphere. The food was great, we had the platter for 3 people and there was plenty of it.
Had a great night, the service was good and atmosphere was refreshing
Food was excellent and really enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly and service was very good.
There was a good choice of food to choose from and it came up well presented and was very tasty!
Love the food, service was a little slow but nothing terrible!
I normally go there and is always amazing but this time the lobster seems way too smaller for 1.5pounds that I ask and the service was really slow and didn’t even clear the table after we finished.
I have gone to Big Easy many times, I go back for the value for money daily specials they do. However more then once the service hasn’t been good and this time wasn’t any different. When you’re having to stop a waiter just to get water/ refills/ reloads/ the bill, it can be quite frustrating. Food was tasty.
Food was excellent as always. First time I have been to covent garden big easy and now prefer it to kings road. Will definitely go again. Service was friendly as always from a big easy
Great food, great music, what else is there to say?!
Very lively atmosphere, good vibe and excellent choice of food. Waiter was very good and even sang happy birthday with a complimentary ice cream. Shame there was no dessert menu but otherwise very good.
Great food, bottomless brunch is great, service is good and overall a great experience for a lazy boozy Sunday
Food was expensive for what was on the plate and we had a very rude waitress serve us
Was good food was great!
Excellent food and service however the tables are really crammed in. The person on the table next to us knocked over a glass of water and sent the napkins flying n our table when he tried to get out from his seat. There is about 6" between tables
The whole experience was very rushed, our party of 4 had our starters, main course and bill all within an hour. Not relaxing at all, also the tables were cramped together. Wouldn't recommend.
It was the last time I'll be going there. I was roasting and was only wearing a t-shirt and jeans, everyone was complaining about the heat. The tables were way too close to eachother, it was very noisy. The food was bland and so, so oily. Appalled at how downhill this restaurant has gone.
The food was underwhelming. Wings were not fresh, tasted reheated and covered in way too much sauce. Lobster mac and cheese was disappointing. Rubbery, chewy lobster pieces ruined the dish. Was a lot better the first time I went a couple of years ago.
Also felt very crammed onto a tiny table. Huge menus and trays just made things messy.
I’d be happy to try one of the other locations however not in a hurry.
Had a lovely waitress and food was decent!
It was my partners birthday and they sang happy birthday to her which was nice. Staff & atmosphere was nice, made us feel comfortable. I would defo go here again. Even the woman that served us was nice, approachable.
Great food..convenient location.
Slightly slow on food service..probably a kitchen issue
Good food good value good staff. Enjoyable pre theatre visit!
Always enjoy having a meal out at Big Easy.... when we visit London from the West Country. Came for our Silver Wedding Anniversary Celebration. Bit disappointed to be honest🙁
Service so slow..... ran out of beef brisket. No waiting staff took any notice of us, had to find someone to ask for more drinks and we were left on our own for over an hour ... no one was around to take a desert and coffee order so when a new waitress came over 2 hours after our arrival we just asked for our bill and left. It was a 4pm booking so not that busy.
To be honest... I begrudged paying service charge...!!!!
Excellent food, comfortable, friendly service without ever once being pushy. Perfect!
This was my 2nd visit and the taste of the food was wanting. I ordered the same dish as last time but taste wise the food was not up to the mark. When the food is expensive, you expect it to taste up to top draw but that was unfortunately not the case. I would not recommend this to my friends on basis of this visit. The ambience is great and so is the music however in the end it is the food that I am here for which was not satisfactory.
Even after booking a table online, the hostess took 30minutes to seat us, and seemed to be prioritising walk-ins before us. The music was way too loud, but the food was wonderful
Food was awesome. Cocktails were great. Music and atmosphere really good.
However the service was shocking - didn’t get any drinks until after we’d finished our appetisers, had to chase up all our drinks throughout the meal, dessert was wrong and coffee was just plain weird. This is the only time I’ve asked for an included service charge to be removed from my bill. Plus front desk had called the day before to confirm our booking and asked if we wanted birthday candles and singing for my sons birthday, and then they forgot!
The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and the live music was great plus the drinks and food menu had a lot of choice. The drinks service was a little bit slow and we also ordered some drinks in happy hour that didn’t arrive, when we ordered them again they didn’t fall into happy hour which was a little annoying. Overall I love this restaurant and will go back!
Was pretty average and I wouldn’t recommend to friends. I’ve had better food for the price we paid. Service was non existent. Items missed from our order and as no one came over to check on us we didn’t bother asking for them and went elsewhere for dessert and more drinks. Then they were cheeky enough to add on a 15% service charge.
Still my favourite restaurant in Convent Garden
Definitely value for money... Had a lovely waitress call Nadia who was always at hand to help... The food was great will definitely go back.
Great, fast service, nice ambiance, really good food, nice cool drinks and good music.
Really good venue, nice staff and fast service which was good also the food was lovely! Would definitely go back.
Great food and excellent value, just unbelievably hot and noisy. My boyfriend had to leave the room 3 times during our meal just to cool down. We then asked for the aircon to be turned on, but it was still very hot. So an average lunch out in the end.
Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately the service was very slow. However, this doesn't put me off returning as the food is brilliant
Great staff great food great wine! Big thumbs up and I will be back :)
Tasty food, a little on the pricier side but as it was good this can be forgiven.
The tables are very tightly packed together, so only for the music you would be able to hear conversations on the neighbouring tables. This would be my only negative.
Great place, great value, great music, but a bit too loud.
