Absolute shambles.

We were seated next to a leaky air conditioning unit with trays on the floor to catch the drips that we had to step over.

Ordered some drinks, they took ages to arrive and the wine was warm. Asked for a replacement and it came back slightly less warm.

We then waited about 45 minutes for food, except it was the main courses and not the starters we ordered. Duty manager came over and offered to get us some drinks, after a delay some more warm wine arrived.

By this time we'd written the whole visit off. It's a pity because the food that did turn up was really good.

Asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill because it was absolutely crap.

The food at Big Easy has always been really good, it's a pity this visit was ruined by atrocious service from a horribly disorganised restaurant.

The drinks were very slow to arrive. My ‘medium rare’ steak was burned to a cinder, they forgot to bring my chips until I reminded them. My friends BBQ meal was missing sausages and when this was pointed out they were told ‘we don’t have any’. Serving staff clearly did not care and just shrugged & walked off when these issues were raised. The waitress was nice but was idly touching my chips tray when we spoke which was odd …. I won’t be going back.

Food was nice but service was a bit slow in some places and all over the place.
We were seated right by the 'band' but was not aware until before our mains arrived that the band appeared, it was so loud that we couldn't talk or even shout. Unfortunately that ruined our evening of catching up with friends. The staff should have informed us that a band would be playing that evening and if we minded being seated literally right by them.
We would have stayed for dessert and more drinks but got the bill as soon as we finished our mains so we could go somewhere where we could at least hear ourselves talk.

Food was tasteless or slimy or tasteless and slimy. Calamari was slimy as all batter/breadcrumb had fallen off (not sure what it should have been coated in) and king prawns were tasteless with dipping sauce that was indescribable. Lobster was sparse and when you found some it was tasteless and very poor quality. The accompanying salad was limp and the chips had been cremated. The Ribeye steak was extremely poor quality and badly cooked.
I was brought the wrong drink and two lobsters, when I only ordered one. They only had House beer, which my husband hated, as it seems they cater more for Cocktail and Prosecco drinkers. The manager offered me another lobster but I couldnt face another one.

Good vibe, great to be in a restaurant with atmosphere again. Service was a little slow, but it was a busy afternoon. Food was spot on, we'll be back.

BBQ boozy brunch was excellent value for money, food was great and drinks were alright. We were sat downstairs in the basement which was okay but felt a bit crowded and could do with some fresh air.
Service for food and drinks were great, just getting the bill at the end took a while.

Bad service, staff not attentive at all. We waited 20 minutes before anyone took our drinks order. Parts of our main meal were forgotten and we had to keep asking for items that were missing. At one point the manager was laying tables beside us and we asked for some drinks and he said he would send someone over, don't know why he couldn't just take the order himself. It seemed as though the staff were all new and inexperienced, not their fault but the manager should have made up for this. Really really loud music also. Just an overall strange vibe, you had families trying to celebrate birthdays with children and on the next table rowdy bunches having boozy brunches. The toilets were gross, someone had clearly had a few too many and had thrown up in one, no soap in soap dispensers. It's a shame as the food really is good. We wouldn't go back!

Food was ok, Luke warm at best, slow service. I would assume it’s because we went for the weekend boozy brunch, I’m sure if it wasn’t an all inclusive price then they would be more attentive to you. We had to keep asking for drinks and they were very slow to bring them. I wouldn’t say it’s good value for money, they add the discretionary 12.5% service charge without mentioning which made an average tasting lunch for two £72. I wouldn’t recommend nor go back.

We ordered the Deluxe BBQ Platter and all the meat was extremely dry and tasteless. It was also quite expensive for the quality of food we received. I would not recommend going to Big Easy for the food.

Not a great atmosphere, staff were not very accommodating. squashed into a table next to music, could not talk to people on the other side of the table.
Overall would not recommend. Chelsea is my closest one and would highly recommend that branch. I will not return to this venue again.

Sadly not at all what it used to be, and not a patch on its Kings Road sister restaurant.

Popcorn shrimp was served barely warm, ordered drinks that then weren’t available, staff were not knowledgeable, not interested & just plain rude, service was not great.

We’d ordered kid’s meals - asked for them to be given to the kids while we had our starters but this didn’t happen. Then when I was eating my starter the waiter pushed that plate out of the way and slammed a burger down. Told him I hadn’t ordered this and he answered ‘it’s for the kid, innit’!

The bill was wrong & took a few goes to get it correct, then on the way out we asked for access to the disabled toilet/baby change facilities - they couldn’t find the key so eventually a manager came over, stuck a screwdriver in the door & ripped the door open then stomped off without a word, visibly rolling his eyes at the inconvenience.

My friend & I are both in the hospitality industry - we couldn’t stop laughing at how bad it all was. Definitely not the best experience!!!

After being seated for our 10.30 booking we were then told the kitchen was closed. One of the hosts who approached us after the waitress was very rude and abrupt. We were rushed when ordering all food and drink and also during our meal. There shouldn’t be an option to book a 10.30 table if the staff are going to be rude and just want to go home.

We've eaten at Big Easy several times, except mostly at the Kings Road branch. This time around, our experience was very average. Service was good, but the food took a while to arrive...the lobster didn't taste as good as it usually does. Slightly dry with a smoky taste which left a lot to be desired. I don't think we'll be back.

Food lift was broken but wasn’t a problem. They sat us next to a serious leak with bowls and bottle in the floor so not pleased with seating. Prawn starter was over cooked, full of water and cold! Prawn crackers still raw in places. Lobster was fabulous so that made up for it but the chips were stone cold. Overall very disappointing.

The atmosphere, venue, music and food all good. Service not great and was very slow in all aspects. Had to ask to order and chase drinks, food order sides missing. Made all more difficult by waiter who didn’t know the menu. Toilets a disaster - filthy, wet and no toilet roll.

I’ve been to big easy multiple times and the food has always been very good!
Unfortunately my last experience was not good. The service was the worst I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant. For each round of drinks we ordered the wait was 20-30 minutes. We only orders beers.

For one person in our group, their food didn’t arrive. We had to repeatedly ask the frantic waiters every 10 minutes for an update on the meal. When it eventually arrived there was just one part of the meal thrown in the plate. No side and drink was included that was stated on the menu. Although mentioned to the waiters, it was not followed up.

The service was appalling, we only stayed because of a waitress called Kimberly who sorted everything out for us. Our drinks order was wrong 3 times and then we waited about 25 minutes for one drink. The waiter serving us couldn’t understand what we were saying, and wrote all the orders down wrong. The manager then also couldn’t understand what we were saying and we felt dismissed. Kimberly was brilliant and we only stayed because of her. Then when the bill came it had all the wrong orders on it and the drinks that we hadn’t had because the waiter had messed this up! The bill had to be changed twice and the waiter was very rude and kept telling us he was right but he wasn’t. The food was good but it was a shame about the majority of the service.

Familiar with Big Easy, as I usually eat at King's Road branch. This venue did not even compare to the Chelsea outlet. The service was poor, the food nowhere near as good and the portions were smaller.
If I go to Big Easy again then Covent Garden will not be my 1st choice.
