Really gone down hill, food quality was poor and small portions. Hygiene poor and chefs in and out of restaurant
looked shabby and not very clean. Will not be visiting anytime soon. Its ashame, was once one of my favourite restaurants.
Great food & atmosphere despite starting off having 1 of the drinks ordered, breaking before we ate, staff were accommodating & helpful.
Had a fab experience. Our waiter was very helpful showing us how to eat lobster as it was our first time.
Staff was very friendly, health and safety was in place with the covid 19 rules. Food was amazing
Very very dirty toilets!
Milkshake was huge and couldn’t finish no option to take away so ended up wasting our money.
Daughter hated the ribs but are what she could as hungry and £25 +chips (chips are good!)
Steak was lovely as was the lobster
Kind prawns had too much batter - they were alright nothing special.
Polite waiter however on arrival reception was cold and then a joke that one of the staff made while taking our temperature ended up being very offensive to us - we didn’t find funny. Let’s just say we don’t think they are aware of what’s happening around the world in the BAME community - No apology offered either. Probably won’t return.
Very good service!
Great service. Very polite and friendly guys. Very satisfied in general. The tap beer was a bit warm but this was due to high demand due to buzzy branch.
Good food and staff were really friendly as well as good service, which can be rare at a bottomless brunch.
It was my first time at Big Easy Chelsea and I'm definitely not impressed. The food came out warm, not hot, it was not bad but I'd expect more for the price. The thing that I really did not like is that we were sitting close to the kitchen, the chef's don't wear any mask or gloves, and while the food trays are put out for the waiters to take, the chef's stand there and chat to the waiters, they literally talk on top of the food. That made me incredibly uncomfortable I don't think it's right, it ruined the whole experience
We arrived on time for our booking at 8pm we was not seated until after 8.30 our food then did not come until 9.20 and at 9:45 we were rushed to pay our bill and to finish off food I was not impressed and I will not be returning to this restaurant. They need to be more organised. Other than that the food was great.
Food disgusting. Lobster very small and tasted water soaked, no flavour. Not the usual. Very disappointed
Great food and atmosphere (although quite noisy and packed). They had live music too.
A wonderful experience would recommend to family and friends
Wonderful service from our waiter. Service fast and effective. Food, as usual, was excellent. Atmosphere superb.
Excellent customer service! Food however was okay, some things better than others and a bit overpriced but large portions of the BBQ combos.
Always really enjoy the food
Staff lovely food amazing thanks you big easy
Service was very poor. I would expect much better food for that price
Perfect diner food. Great burgers and bbq chicken.
Fantastic soul food. Very reasonably priced.
An hour wait for food. Asked other diners who also had the same wait as I thought we had been forgotten! Guess we understand maybe staff issues.
Food as always never disappoints. Just delicious.
It was my daughters 15th birthday, and spite entering that when booking , none mentioned it , which was disappointing.
The starters took a good while to arrive( 30 mins or so ) but we waited over 1 1/2 hours for main corse and 2 of the orders were completely wrong , so we wait to wait again while they were done correctly.
Food very good but it was all very stressful, and hard to enjoy .
We got a free bottle of wine , but we all have preferred a smooth , professional meal , and enjoyed our daughters birthday meal .
Disappointing! Came here few years ago and remember it being a fantastic experience with great food, great service and a fantastic atmosphere. It seems to have lost its way.
To be fair the food we had very nice but the presentation was a little underwhelming. I remember big portions as you would expect from an American themed restaurant. This no longer seems to be the case.
Every item is an extra which I find unnecessary. If you are having a burger or steak it’s likely you will have fries, why not just include with the meal? Instead you have to pay £3 extra for a modest portion and also £2.50 for a sauce for your steak. I know this is a fairly expensive place on Kings Road but seems to have become a little stuck up and pretentious. If I wanted that I would have dined at the Blue Bird next door.
Unfortunately, the worst part was the service. I booked the table with 3-4 weeks notice but not given a choice of where to sit. Also mentioned it was my girlfriends birthday on the booking and this was not mentioned once.
The girl who took our order was nice enough but did not introduce herself or ask us anything about how we were or if we were there for any reason. Our starters were brought to us by a different member of staff and dumped onto the table in front of us. We were not asked if we needed anything else.
Our mains were brought over by the staff member who brought over the starters and again dropped these in front of us and before we could attempt to ask for another drink he had run away.
My lobster meal was missing the garlic butter along with the cracker and pick and I was not given a bib or hand wipe. We had to ask for new cutlery also.
We had to ask for a dessert menu and were never asked if we wanted another drink. Dessert menu was very disappointing with a poor selection, no brownie or cheese cake, really?
Came here for my girlfriends Birthday, and it was a disappointing end to the evening.
The restaurants food was very good and the quality was good for the price. The service was on point and the food came really quick.
We absolutely love this place and have been coming here for over 15 years. The food is great, the atmosphere is lovely and the slushy cocktails are to die for!! Great for a night out with friends and even kid friendly...my kids love it here!!
We were rushed through our meal, they literally took our plates and came over with the bill. Not even asked if we wanted dessert. We had drinks still and so had to be more bed to the bar area.
I understand that given the current climate they may need to turn tables around quickly but we hadn’t been there 1.5 hours. It was so rude.
Fantastic food, but mediocre service. On top of this, a 12.5% service charge is automatically added to your bill regardless of group size or quality of service (my table was for only two people). Toilets were a disgrace, and were clearly ignored by the staff.
Amazing. Great food. Great place. Definitely not shy with the bottomless prosecco 👌
Server we had was great, cannot remember his name (sorry), food was unreal.
Lobster is nice, chips awful, salad bland, very noisy and over priced. In comparison to how the big easy was a few years ago, it’s not somewhere I would go again. Staff lovely though
The ambiance has not changed since I hasn’t visited possibly 2yrs ago. The table service was excellent. However, the door staff were a bit confusing! I had 3 people ask me my name an reservation time in the suave of 5 minutes. Apart from the initial hiccup I enjoyed my visit. It was expensive to eat a small lobster, shared chips snd chicken starter all for £84! A bit pricey for me.
Not sure the downstairs was responsibly socially distanced... I know it is difficult to know the exact rules but there were a LOT of people!
Great express lunch and early bird specials. Good service and relaxed atmosphere.
Big Easy never disappoints! I've been to the Covent garden brach a few times and it was my fist visit to their restaurant on King's road. However, it was a great experience (as expected) - fast and friendly service, tasty food and good value for money!
All you can eat shrimp came out pretty slow. Generally it’s overpriced for the quality.
I went on a Tuesday and big easy offered the unlimited deep fried shrimp.
When it came to ordering more shrimps I had to ask 3 different waiters to bring me some, and when someone finally did they only offered 4 shrimps. When I place another order again I had to ask more than one waiter to bring to some more, to where I heard the comments of a waiter saying ‘another one.’ On the menu it says unlimited I shouldn’t be questions for order more and waiting 15 minutes for every batch which only comes 4. I was disappointed with this service
Steak tasted butter on the top( needs to clean the griller more regularly) ither than that the food was tasty. Service was friendly however had to call for service the whole time of the visit. Need to be more attentive to the guest
The food was amazing and our server
Nicki was very lovely and attentive without being over baring. She was very helpful in advising how to crack the lobster claws and advising on what to eat... thank you Nicki... only issue had was we were waiting over 20min for our table from when we had booked, we were asked to wait As table was being sanitised but weren’t given menus or anything to view whilst we waited or offered to get drinks. When going downstairs there was 6 tables free that were clean and sanitised so It didn’t make sense why we were waiting so long.
With everything that is going on with Covid we were very happy with the staff and setup. The food was really good and the weekend lunch menu was great and a good price
Food was great when it came. It seemed the unlimited brunch diners were put ahead of us so it took an hour to get our food which was disappointing.
Loved everything about it food was very nice we coming again soon
