10 minute walk from Old Street underground station
Absolutely fantastic went for dinner on the Saturday night food was lovely and the service excellent.
Went back the next day for coffee ending buying new motor bike helmet for my wife stayed for lunch and watch Moto GP on the big screen. If I lived in London it would be my new favourite place to eat hang out talk bikes etc. A very good venue and worth a visit. I will be back
Hi, this was our first but not last visit, really enjoyed our afternoon. Food was excellent and so were the cocktails, staff were very helpful. Have been looking forward to our visit for some time and was not disappointed, was not as straight forward to find as we thought but managed in the end. It was quiet when we were in but I could imagine it has a great atmosphere when it is busy.
Managed to get a few bits and pieces of clothing and they have a good choice for woman as well which was an added bonus for my wife lol. Deffo reckoned it to friends.
Good venue but staff a bit slow on the evening we attended so meant we had to chase things up.
I don't understand why this restaurant shows up on the top ten of Shoreditch restaurants, it was okay but nothing spectacular. If you're looking for a blended American / British menu in a casual environment this is the place for you. The food was nice but not great, the pace of service was excellent but none of them looked like they wanted to be there which makes it hard to say the service was good.
Very salty food and nothing special. The place is a beautiful spot, a really cool hang out but I wouldn't rate the food highly.
Great atmosphere. Some impressive bikes but definitely not just for bikers. Try and get a booth if you can.
Great casual biker hangout with underground area for parking motorbikes. Excellent food and great vibe, especially as the MotoGP was on. Just as good for non-bikers as bikers.
I liked the setting/ambience, great cocktails, wonderful friendly waitress, good starters but really disappointing mains. We ordered two of the specials and both were pretty poor. My chicken dish was swimming in oil. The burgers were fine but a bit dry. Mac and cheese was pretty average. We did get two complimentary cocktails in compensation. I'd say good for a drink and maybe a snack but wouldn't recommend for dinner.
Service was amazing. The place is very creative
Really enjoyed my experience at Bike Shed. The food was great and the service was outstanding. We went for a team lunch, and when the staff found it was my birthday they really went out of their way to make me feel special. They even made me something off the menu! Had a fab time and the food was really good.
Table was waiting for us, food was good, would recommend it.
Disappointing first time visit.
Menu is extremely pedestrian especially given the really nice ambience and decor of the place.
Service was friendly but unprofessional. It took 25 minutes to tell me that what I'd ordered wasn't available and then the substitute that arrived was cold. It was only at my insistence that some compensation was offered.
Really good food (burgers, mac & cheese, etc.) and great cocktails. Service was good, seating was comfortable, and decor was awesome. Would definitely return and recommend!
Had to leave after 40 mins waiting for food and when it arrived it was inedible. A very simple order of Avocado on toast with poached eggs! Eggs over cooked and brown mush referred to as three beans, promised by waiter as being sereved hot was cold!
I should have realised there was a reason that this place had an opening for Sunday brunch at the very last minute!
We were even kept waiting for 15 mins despite making a reservation... the whole exepericence was an epic fail!
I would give No stars if I could ... not a club I want to be a member off!
Great place to visit, good food and great bikes. Try the barbershop and look at the Triumph motorcycles.
Went to watch the US Motogp and despite being the only Marky suporters and having to listen to the booing from the Rossi fans we had a great time.
Excellent grilled chicken roll, unbelievably attentive service and great value plus marshalled secure bike parking.
At least Stuart the GM was a Marky fan and similarly turned in a stunning performance.
Great atmosphere, great staff and great food. A real gem.
Arrived on time but they had changed their opening times and forgot to update OpenTable or call us. We had a tight schedule and this really delayed us. Ended up going to The breakfast club, which was great!!
I tried it out because i was thinking about having a birthday celebration there. I am glad I did because I can't say I would have been happy to celebrate there. I just found the whole experience quite stressful.
The staff were literally running up and down, and in to each other, the background music any thing but, the table we were originally sat seemed to be in the way so my chair continuously knocked as staff went past. We asked to move and I am glad we did.
Also, I was looking forward to trying their beers, but only served in bottles. If I want bottled beer I can go to Asda and not pay £5.
Great food, Great service, Great for bike stop, Almost always parking!
We chanced upon this restaurant on our lazy sunday breakfast routine. Being mother's day and avid bikers ourselves, we convinced our 16yr old artsy son to join us. Set inside an old brick archway, the ambience was instantaneously welcoming. frequented by some bikers, the exhaust notes from the free bike park and scattering of some old triumphs and beamers made us feel right at home. Whilst the coffee was exceptional (as every bike stop should be) the food was just good. Treated myself to Eggs on a toasted Brioche with a serving pork belly bacon. The indoor barber shop was closed for business but the bike shop was an interesting browse, but tad more expensive than regular retail. Will be back with our dressers.
Great food, all table enjoyed, happy and smiley welcome, first half of the service with skinny waiter who could speak Italian (his mother was Italian) wasn't good, he was unaware of the allergen, we had a friend who is coeliac and it took a while to find something suitable, he did not smile even once and seemed like each of our questions (about the menu, recomendations) we asked was a big issue and problematic. Later on the service was taken over by blonde (Portuguese?)girl and that luckily changed the mood of the evening.
Found this place by chance on the internet and was not sure what to expect. It was full of charm. Loved feeling the trains running occasionally overhead, the food was tasty and filling. Had a burger and sweet potato fries which were delicious. Prompt, friendly service. Definitely worth the journey and can't wait to be back.
Been about 5 or 6 times now. Pretty much always very good.
Great atmosphere with the bikes outside, and the shop and custom bikes on display in the adjoining arches.
We come from Exeter Devon a few times a year and always book the bike shed, now we're addicted since the first time my father made us go. The service is great, the food is outstanding. Everyone should give it a go atleast once!
Great experience from start to finish! Beautiful cocktails followed by excellent food. Staff were on top form and the atmosphere was killer! Can't wait to come back!
Generally love this place. The vibe and drinks were great. This time our food was not as good as previous visits. The veggie pie was nearly all potato and chicken burger all a bit dry. Previous food choices have been better. Thanks.
A great first visit. We will definitely be back. The concept is very original, the food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been better.
Love the place. Fairly good value for tasty food. I will be back.
My friends and I are not bikers at all but we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Very nice place. We went for the shed burger which was really good !
And the staff is genuinely adorable.
This was our first time at the Bike Shed Motorcycle Club. The food is nice but the menu has nothing extraordinary or adventurous. Typical burger place (pub menu?) with the usual sides. Burger was cooked pretty good, was juicy and tasty. The service was really good and attentive. The place though is very noisy and dark, you can hardly hear what the person sitting next to you is saying or see what you're eating. All in all, a nice place for a Saturday night out, some interesting cocktail options, but nothing impressive. Reasonable prices though.
Nice vibe, great food, although service slow and waiter although pleasant seemed distracted.
Really unusual setting especially if you like motorbikes
Always a good meal at the bike shed
Great location, good food and drink, friendly staff. Would recommend!
Too much noise for busienss
Met there on Sunday with a friend; the sunday roast was actually quite good (the roast beef was properly medium rare cooked). the ambience is great even if you are not into motorbikes. but much better if you are.
Great brunch place, good fun, varied menu and delicious drinks. Highly recommend, do. book though!
Awesome people vibe and service. A civilised oasis in the wilderness of shoreditch
