A delicacy from the Southeast Coast states. A velvety blend of crab, shrimp and fresh herbs. Served tableside!
Topped with pecan butter crunch- roasted. Served with shrimp and crab risotto, baby broccoli and sweet potato
Fresh gulf fillet pecan breaded. served over angel hair pasta with fresh vegetables and an Orange Basil Cream sauce
The food, service and ambiance was great. We did have to wait too long for our reserved table.
Bistecca is one of those unassuming restaurants you may never consider dining at but once you walk through the door and enjoy the evening you'll be mad at yourself for not visiting sooner. Chef Morris Salerno is always leading the kitchen and the dishes are always delicious and consistent. There is a family vibe about the place, with many recipes being handed down from Chef's ancestors. We have been coming here for years and will continue to do so!
I've eaten at many world-class steakhouses: Morton's, Del Frisco's, Bob's, Ruth's Chris, Pappas Bros, and a few others, but my steak at Bistecca was, without a doubt, the very best steak I've ever had. Period.
We always recommend Bistecca!!
Great service, great food!!
Bistecca has a nice variety of main courses and sides. The drink menu wasn’t bad either. The waiter was attentive, friendly and helpful. The meals at our table ( 4 people total) were all delicious! We look forward to going back again.
Wonderful food and our wait person was excellent! My husband had the Ribeye and I had the Snapper. Yum!
Ordered duck, it was burnt on the outside. Ribeye needed seasoning, lots.
Service was perfect from when we walked in to when we left; recognizing us by name and that it was our anniversary. The food was perfectly prepared and we rounded out the dinner with a crème brulet and souffle ... wonderful. The noise level was moderate and the table spacing could have been better for a more relaxed and romantic evening, but still overall excellent.
Food was great and the service was excellent. We had three different entrees and we all liked what we had-sea bass, mussels pork chops. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Great overall experience!
Waited ~20 mins to be seated after our reservation time. There was no airflow in the restaurant, was hot (no a/c), had manual floor fans from the 90’s all over the place. Tables were practically on top of one another. Food was not seasoned - from the meatballs to the steak to the lobster. The charcuterie board consisted of ritz and Keebler clubhouse crackers, literally awful. While the steak was cooked perfectly (albeit not salted or seasoned), the lobster was overcooked and rubbery (difficult to cut with a steak knife). The cocktails were meh. This restaurant must have purchased the reviews and accolades, it’s literally one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to - diner food would be better. Sorry, not sorry.
Shrimp grotto was incredible. actually everything was spot on. Amazing flavors, best dinner I have had in quite some time. I will definitely be back.
Nice place to celebrate anniversary. Shrimp scampi was sooo good! Have already recommended to someone else.
Wonderful as usual!
Food was fantastic! Ashley our server made the evening special. She was a great server and took very good care of us.
This was a great dining experience. There were 4 of us and we all ate something different. Every dish was excellent. The only downside was the noise level but that may have been table placement. We are already planning a return trip.
The Seabass was amazing!
Second visit to Bistecca and it was just as good as our first visit. Our waiter, Eddie, did a good job.
Table next to us was extremely load
They took care of all our dietary needs
One of my favorite restaurants. Go there often for special evening.
An awesome birthday dinner. The kitchen did an amazing job. Stormy was our stellar server. Her advice was spot on.
Our evening was fabulous. The staff including chef Morris Salerno treated us like family. The mussels were excellent & we wouldn’t let them take it away until we mopped up all of the juice with their homemade bread. We then shared a Cesar and enjoyed our tenderloin medallions with king crab meat & the sea bass entree. All was cooked to perfection including the soufflé. Service impeccable as well. We will be back!
Celebrating my in laws anniversary at bistecca was fantastic. It was so good and so special. The steak Salerno was the recommended start. She crab soup was yummy. They split my in laws wedge salad which made it the perfect size for them. Everyone loved their entrees. We had fish, pork chops and steaks. So good. Perfectly cooked and all our substitutions were done. We had the excellent waitress in Ella. Be sure to ask for her. She will make your night even more special. The piece de resistance was when chef Morris came out to the table and talked with my in-laws. They loved it. Thanks for everything, bistecca. We will see you again soon.
Everything was absolutly fantastic. We ordered Sea Bass and the Snapper. Both were some of the best we have ever had. Very impressed that the food comes out to the tables immediatly and is HOT unlike many places that let it sit waiting for some exepiditer to bring it out. If the interior was updated a bit, this place would be perfect!
The she crab soup was creamy with big chunks of crab. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly
It was mimen and boyfriend’s first time eating at Bistecca. We ere both pleased from the hostess to our waitress. Bread was delicious and the food was amazing! I would definitely repeat the visit.
Second time at Bistecca. Both times restaurant was packed, almost over-packed with the feeling that servers couldn’t keep up with the number of customers. Service was very slow and food was hit and miss. Two orders of shrimp appetizer, one was cooked perfectly and delicious, one was over cooked and tough. Oysters Rockefeller were dry. Short rib special was melt-in-your mouth delicious. Mussels had many cracked shells. Sea bass was delicious but a small portion. Wines and beers came out slowly, sometimes after asking the server twice for the drinks. After two tries, not sure if I will be back.
We enjoyed our back to school dinner! Emily did a great job making our nice special.
Food was delicious! Definitely would go back!
Dinner at Bistecca was GREAT! We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu and our food was fantastic! The wait staff were great. We’ll be back!
Outstanding restaurant week menu. The steak salerno and tomato soup were amazing. The seabass w/pistachio and boneless short rib were excellent. The flourless chocolate cake and strawberry pie delicious. The portions were perfect for a 3 course meal. The PEI mussels appetizer was excellent as was the Prime Beef with crab entrée. The highlight of the evening - the complimentary house made white chocolate cheesecake. Its the best we've had in DFW. Dined here for the first time and definitely not the last. Our server Ashley provided friendly, informed and well timed service. Highly Recommended
La Bistecca is an outstanding restaurant bar none. Chef Salerno’s menu is always creative and so delicious! We have been dining here for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. We’ve been to all the top restaurants in the Dallas Fort Worth area and beyond and La Bistecca is at the top of our list!
We celebrated a birthday at Bistecca. It was our first time there and Kylie was our server. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and purely focused on our experience. She was amazing. To top that off the food was of the same incredible caliber. We were absolutely impressed with everything we had from appetizers to dessert. We would highly recommend Bistecca to anyone!
We love this place so so much! We had the shrimp scampi, the tenderloin steak, tenderloin medallions, spinach salad, and she-crab soup. And, of course, we all had souffle's. It was all so amazing! The Chef came by and said hello. The food is such excellent quality, with a very cozy and warm environment! We are going to book again for a family dinner to celebrate a family college graduation. HIGHLY recommend Bistecca!
We were hoping this was a good restaurant week to try, we ordered appetizers, entrees & bottle of wine but portions were much smaller and my husband's shrimps were undercooked. They took the plate back and brought it back over cooked. We left this restaurant with room to fill in our stomach.
Ambient was good but the mood was just not there. They have kids working as busser and hosts which looked a little odd but they did a good job.
First time experience. Delicious!
Food and service were amazing as always. Started with our favorites of Tune Grotto and Steak Solerano and then opted for the special DFW week menu sections for the rest of the meal. The only draw back was the restaurant was quite warm. The A/C appeared to be down so they had portable A/C units and fans throughout that could not keep up. These added to the normally moderate noise level making it tough to talk amongst our table. Even with this issue, our group had a wonderful time and will certainly be back.
The food was terrific as usual. We had a reservation and when we got there it seemed like Management wasn't able to handle all the people. The place was packed and there were a lot of people waiting. Did they take people without reservations or over book?? Or were they short staffed? It was a mess. Our waitress was wonderful and made up for it.
First time going to Bistecca. Great food and the service was excellent.
Everything is fantastic! Never had a bad experience. The Crab Cakes are great! Steak Medallions also. Snapper with Crab topping was outstanding!
It seems that most of the wait staff is relatively new without good knowledge of the menu or wine list but the service was good.
