I worked in the college system at Humber and Niagara and was always proud of what students and staff did to create an elegant dining experience with a wonderful meal.
Durham College did not disappoint.
I will be very happy to recommend Bistro 67.
I also returned the next day to buy some things at the Pantry.
Great job Everyone.

My wife and I went to Bistro 67 for our anniversary since we had heard good things.

We opted for the Two Can Dine Special. This includes choice of 1 of 2 Apps, 1 of 3 mains and a dessert. My wife chose the soup of the day, which was a cauliflower, squash and cheese soup which she said was excellent - she loved it. I had the apple and spinach salad which was also excellent, it was fresh and the vinaigrette was light and perfect for the salad. We both choose the BRAISED ONTARIO BEEF TAGLIATELLE which was almost like a beef bergononne stroganoff and was really good. The beef was tender with a rich sauce and the flat noodle were properly cooked. The large mushrooms were in abundance. The small thin slices of sundries tomatoes were almost like a candy, chewy, sweet and full of flavour. The dessert was an orange cake with raspberry and white chocolate sauce with hot chocolate ice cream. The cake was a little hard, almost like a cookie, but taste quite good.

They also provided my wife and I with a glass of sparkling white wine for our anniversary compliments of the restaurant.

The service was excellent... this is part of Durham college so some of the staff are culinary art students. They were engaging and really wanted to serve.

The decor is more modern yet comfortable.

It was a wonderful meal and experience.

Our next generation of chefs and restaurateurs is in good hands at Bistro 67.

Still the best restaurant in Whitby and an amazing experience. Had the opportunity to learn from executive chef Raul tonight and get a tour of the kitchen and discuss sourdough baking which was an unexpected experience after our dinner. They are doing things right here, and remain our favorite spot in Durham and one of our favorites in the GTA. Local and seasonal changing menu, attentive service, in house made dips and breads, out of the box drink menu (had a tahini cocktail this evening) and great for special events or every day visits. Support our local college and future chefs by visiting, you won't be disappointed! Thanks again team!

We had a server who was able to convey our friends food allergies to the chef and hence the food was accommodated. Unfortunately we were seated by the door to the kitchen so the noise level was a little high. Overall a great meal with excellent service

I had high expectations as the menu looked fabulous and the concept is brilliant. Service started out great but became overbearing (constantly coming to the table and interrupting conversation with repeated questions). At one point the music was turned off and because it wasn’t busy, it just didn’t have a good vibe. Most importantly, menu selection was great and portions were huge (excellent value for money) but flavours were extremely one dimensional. I unfortunately wouldn’t go back but was hoping this would become a new hot spot.

Large Size of the mussels-impressive. Braised beef in the tagliatelle pasta was delicious and was so tender it melted in the mouth. Scallops were huge and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent. Easy to talk background sound not very loud. Must be experienced.

I couldn’t get from outer parking lot because of gate being closed and construction. Only a few cars were parked conveniently next to the Bistro. I walked miles! Very limited choices of wine and very overpriced. The music was loud and raucous, not conducive to digestion. The salmon appetizer was tiny and costed 14$. Could have been presented with greens to make it more attractive and increase quantity. Had to make my way through groups of noisy students to find washrooms which are located outside the restaurant. Very disappointing experience!

We loved the charcuterie and tapas. We ordered the ramen, Caribbean bowl, tenderloin and chicken and all were excellent. We love the food so much that we’re coming back next weekend!!

This is the fifth time we’ve been to bistro 67 and it is consistently amazing.
Went to celebrate my husband’s birthday with some friends the other couples have never been there before. They were so impressed that one of the ladies asked regarding catering service and we’re already looking forward to going back and also getting tickets for the huge harvest meal in September /October time frame.
Very impressed and would highly recommend anyone. Highly recommend the puréed cauliflower as a side dish

Great ambiance!
Service was wonderful including both the hostess and the waitress. We really enjoyed the fried cauliflower, and the fondue. I got the chicken as my main meal. The outside was tasty but I found the inside rather dry. My only complaint though!

As always, both the food and service was fantastic. We went for the “2 can dine for $55” on Thursday night and it did not disappoint. 3 courses and portions large enough that we had to take food home.

Went to Bistro 67 on a Saturday night with friends!!
Greeted and seated right away.
Recommend to make reservations, it’s a busy place. Appetizers vegan nachos were great, enough for all 4 of us.
Bread was delicious served with a wonderful dip. I ordered the salmon it was perfect! Service throughout was attentive. Ended with a cappuccino and flourless chocolate cake. Definitely share cake was very rich.
Wonderful experience would come back!! Thank you Bistro 67.

The service was totally unfriendly and unprofessional. The food was luke warm at best but the portions were fine.
Our table was not properly clean and the white table cloth had fresh red wine on it which ended up on my shirt.....I understand its students but this is their career choice “act accordantly”.

We had a set menu for Valentine's Day which was fine. 2 of the 3 apps were fish and the third (which I had) were slow roasted beets and apples. Not a problem for most, but just dont eat seafood / fish. It wasn't the greatest. That said, the rest of the food was fantastic and creative. One small issue was I asked the waitress for the steak and lobster entree and asked if I could pay an up charge and do 2 small steaks in place on the lobster. She said no, didn't even ask the manager. Never heard of a business not taking more money when offered. Chairs could be cushioned. They hard plastic type seats. The ambience was great, rest of the food fantastic. As good as it was, it is over priced for value or perhaps that's because it was Valentine's Day and had an upcharge on the menu.

Love the ambience and the food, but the prices are pretty high even considering. Was pricier than I had even thought it would be, felt kind of bad I chosen it for even a valentines date. Felt like I could not order a cocktail as they were so expensive didn’t seem worth it. Lovely place and amazing food but wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending to a friend due to high pricing. Won’t be back after first visit.

Our first time there. Food was incredible taste and quality. I was surprised we weren’t asked how we liked our steak cooked however somehow it was perfect. Presentation was incredible. You wanted to look at it before eating it. Our server was fantastic. We will return for date night again.

The restaurant was very busy (Valentine’s Day) and so the individual attention was minimal. The food was very salty and the steak was overcooked. Diners were not being asked how they wanted their steak cooked and I assumed that it was due to the busy activity of the evening. When asked about the food, the overdone steak and saltiness were shrugged off. The wait staff were very friendly and efficient but the chef should have her/his salt shaker taken away. We have been to this establishment many times and this was the only meal that has disappointed us.

Living in Toronto you get spoiled with great restaurants but when we moved to Oshawa the quality of non franchise restaurants was lacking. We were one of the first customers of Bistro when it opened many years ago. We go back a few times a year and are always impressed with the quality of execution and value for money. The fact that they try to grow and harvest local is amazing. And the culinary students always execute the dishes perfectly. We came for Valentine’s Day and the lobster bisque was amazing, perfect execution on the lamb and the cocktails are always creative. Service is fantastic...my only knock is the decor...but then again it is a college so I can’t expect atmosphere like Canoe or Bosk. But that is the thing the food is on par with these establishments in the city...so if you have a chance to go..try out Bistro 67.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. The service was wonderful. Wait staff could not only explain the men but gave suggestions of what paired nicely drink wise. When asked if we got get a taster of 2 different craft beers are waitress was more than happy to accommodate. The food came out warm and portion sizes were generous. Excellent quality and we are already planning are next visit.

The option of 2 for $55 was a terrific offering. The selections were appealing and portions generous. The flavours of salad, bread and hummus, and entrees were subtle and very delicious. Taste of wholesome, pure food. Food presentation of each course was above expectation. Dessert was amazing. We love coming here because it feels like a private dining experience. Appreciate the absence of loud piped in music. The service was excellent. This will be remembered as a very special Valentines celebration.
