Bistro Niko is my GoTo when I am spending my own money to entertain. We had a lively dinner for 6 including a guest from the UK who heartily enjoyed herself. They do the French classics as well or better than anyone in town. My coq au vin was terrific. That said, pacing on the service last night was a bit off and the noise level was annoyingly high. The latter was due to a large function. But it was a tad frustrating. Still, my favorite restaurant for excellent food and for a lovely evening.

We went for brunch and our waitress didn’t seem very happy. We asked about bread service or if bread came with omelette. We were told no bread. Ordered French toast and it had essentially no egg coating just dry. Sent it back and got the waffle. It was underdone. Very disappointing. My husband’s quiche was good. We then saw an adjacent table served French bread- same waitress as ours! We won’t be coming back. This restaurant used to be great- not anymore 🙁

My family and I came for the Jazz Brunch last Sunday. The service and atmosphere was fantastic. The brunch itself was not to any of our likings. We ordered the French Toast and Omelet. Neither dish had garnish on the plate, the potatoes were luke warm and did not have much seasoning on them. I honestly feel like I could of made a better breakfast at home. Maybe dinner is more their forte.

Great experience! Music was pretty soft, so if you want the Live Jazz music I suggest asking to be seated closer to the band.

The food was delicious but the outdoor seating was noisy because of the proximity to the road. Unfortunately, after moving inside it was still relatively loud.

This restaurant is a treasure. Our waiter Billy was polite and attentive. The food was superb. I have never eaten anything here I did not enjoy. We asked for a quiet table and were seated in the small room behind the check in counter. It was comfortable and intimate and you could easily carry on a conversation. The tables were spaced far enough apart to give you lots of privacy. Even the valet service was first class. I felt comfortable leaving my new car with them.

All our entrees were delicious: duck, steak & sea bass. The soft shell crab was so good. You need to valet park your car because they no longer validate your parking ticket. Super service too.

Service was very slow right from the beginning. Also it was our anniversary and after we were seated and not busy, yet) the manager sat a couple with two small children right next to us, who of course were crying, kicking, etc. We have grown children so we understand that but for them to be seated next to us was bad understanding

Food was okay. Too expensive for what it was. Steak was hard to bite on, salad was just lettuce with a little bit of olive oil and fries tasted like the frozen ones you but at the store. Service was okay. He didn’t even introduce himself. It felt like he “had” to serve us.

Our waiter was handsome and friendly. Since we are all 70+ I think it’s ok to say handsome. The fresh trout was cook perfectly. My friends both had quiche with side Salad. Dessert apple tarte was yummy as was the flourless chocolate cake. Hope to go back soon.

Cool new place to try. The waiter lacked personality, but the food was good. Wine list was fantastic. Probably should have valet parked since self-parking ended up $14. I would certainly recommend giving them a try but with so many great restaurants in Atlanta, I don't see the point in returning - but would go if I was with friends who wanted to go.

I love the food and the atmosphere of Bistro Niko! I had the swordfish special and it was prepared perfectly! My husband enjoyed the beef cheek Bourguignon and was delicious as always. My only wish is that they would install some kind of sound dampener, the level of noise is just a little too high to really enjoy everything fully.

Quality dining establishment but very noisy in the main room! Atlanta Fish Market could take some lessons in managing a restaurant from Bistro Niko! Food and service were great and so was the pacing. We never felt rushed or unwelcome to stay and enjoy ourselves!

Overall, had a wonderful brunch. There was a jazz band but not too loud. Ambiance was lovely. It was special because I celebrated my 75th birthday. Definitely would recommend it. Actually, I already have.

Very nice French restaurant. Not boring at all. We went on a Friday for our wedding anniversary. Service was great, quick. Food was delicious. I had the Coq au vin with mashed potatoes.
