Always a favourite! Amazing service, great food, & a really cool space! Plus with current situation, tables were appropriately spaced apart to maintain ‘social distancing’ given these crazy times!
Great evening, the server even gave us a little more time so we could get the early bird deal! Thank you!
It’s a brunch institution. Great place, nice vibe, fantastic food. Try the farinata or the hash brown!
Brilliant classic French bistro food, full of flavour, very nice staff, friendly, good value!
Haven’t been here for a while... I remember it as being noisy and I guess it is when it’s full - it can be very lively and buzzy. That’s a good thing, but I liked it more on a quiet Thursday in January and the food was way better than I remember. Really outstanding, some of it. Highly recommended but pick your time carefully depending on your tolerance for noise.
Went for a Sunday evening early meal with some friends and we had such a wonderful time! We had the Prixe Fixe menu, which was excellent value and so tasty. The restaurant decor is beautiful and the staff were great. We’ll definitely be back!
Food is amazing. Service is great. Every time I go I remember why I keep coming back.
Love the atmosphere of Bistrotheque. The service made us feel welcome and it was overall a nice place for a date or catching up with friends. The restaurant is quite discreet which is nice as it has a hidden vibe. Would definitely come back.
We’ve been here a few times and always happy with the amazing service and food.
Sat at the bar for brunch, waited 10 minutes before I was asked if I’d like a drink whilst I waited for a friend. Appreciate it was busy but no one likes to see someone who arrives after them be given a drink straight away, regardless of how well staff know them.
Food was nice as it usually is, and there was a lovely buzzy atmosphere. Nice to hear a piano in the background.
Great service food and atmosphere as usual. I love this place 😉🙌🏼
Great food, service and space. Really loud and busy on a Sunday brunch but that's to be expected
We had a good evening that could have been great if we had been seated better. Despite the request the call to confirm about us having amour very small dog we were sat at the bar. Watched for the whole time we were (2 hours) there at least one table for two that would have been more comfortable. As the son or a restauranteur and designer of many telling the guest “well I could give you there but need back by ...” is never a problem. We would have spent even more money than we did and been happy to sit at the bar for after dinner drinks rather than go somewhere else. That aside, great food, beautifully cooked, presented and our waiter was doing a great job (just needed a bar tenders hot toddy) to get him through the night. Cameras in the lady’s toilets looking at the cubicles would however put my wife off coming again as not good to feel that was being filmed. Deal with the “drug” issue another way, that’s does not match the standard of the restaurant.
Bistrotheque never disappoints. The food was perfect, and the waiting staff were also fast and attentive .
Really bright environment which I really like, friendly with confidentiality, delicious food, highly recommended!
Entering the venue, feels incredibly unique as there are no signs or postings outside. Interesting idea for a restaurant, with very attentive staff. The food though is both bland and distinctly average, devoid of any real flavour. The prices do not certainly meet this standard, and I would consider it to be overly priced for what I ate.
multiple items on the menu not available and zero ambiance
Love it! We go there monthly and it’s amazing. Lovely staff and great fod
We had a really good time. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. Our only disappointment was that we hadn’t found out about this place earlier!
Orange steamer pudding was amazing
Brilliant, as usual.
Never disappoints. First time on a Saturday night with a number of birthday celebrations going on around us. Excellent vibe and energy in the room.
The food choices were limited as they had run out of various items. The same applied to the wine - run out of a standard Gavi di Gavi. I didn't expect this from a large restaurant. The service was very casual. The actual space was nice but not enough to persuade me to go back. It has passed its best. Many other restaurants have now surpassed it which is a shame as it was great when it first opened.
Excellent as always, my favourite place to eat in London. I do miss the cornbread from the brunch menu though.
Went for brunch, my eggs florentine was way too salty, really not very nice. The restaurant looks good, but it was too warm and very noisy due to the echoy room. I was on a table for 2 but we struggled to hear each other. We were also placed next to the piano so when that started being played it was even worse.
Delicious food and drinks, and the service is excellent
Great good, great staff who are human. Will be coming back soon
My fav London brunch!!! The food, the service, the venue, the vibe.... it has it all! Perfect for a Saturday/Sunday stroll around Hackney.
The bacon eggs benedict are TO DIE for and i always go for it. The pancakes and the steak tartare were delicious too.
Live piano on the weekends!
I’ll be back soon ;)
All good - very nice place where to dine! Good food, nice service.
A perfect mix between East London casual warehouse vibes and french fine dining. I loved it and would go time and time again
Food was amazing. We went for a late brunch at 14:00 on Sunday and the atmosphere was ideal for this. Sadly by the time we ordered they had run out of avocado and pancakes. Which was a shame but didn't dampen the experience. Great place for casual but also fancy sunday brunches.
Fantastic ambience, excellent food and wine. Regularly changing menu is a plus, but they do often run out of some popular dishes.
This might now be my favourite restaurant in London. Chic but not pretentious. Great food, really interesting menu. Great decor and atmosphere. Now I'm looking for another reason to go back!
It was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and very attentive without being overpowering.
The NICEST and tastiest chicken I’ve ever eaten. It’s slow cooked through a process taking 14 or 15 hours and is just moist garlicky heaven.
I had an amazing lunch on Sunday with the best pianist playing in the background! The food was excellent and I couldn’t recommend it enough to everyone! I am for sure going back for some more music and delicious food! The service was excellent and the waiters were great! I have asked which dessert he would recommend and his answer was very honest and I ended up with the best dessert! Thank you guys!
Very good service, friendly vibe from the staff, amazing food and relaxed setting. Regular goers and will be baxl
Spectacular food, every single dish! Service was outstanding. Chloé took great care of us she was amazing and was very accommodating. Thank you!
Great venue, gorgeous brunch and our waiter was great. The only thing that spoiled the day is as when the maitre’d hurried us off our table while we were stills enjoying our drinks without giving a 30 minute warning. He also hovered over us while we split the bill which was slightly annoying. A minor point but other than that, a fab place. Would definitely recommend
