Bistrotheque Ratings and Reviews
Superb establishment! Great atmosphere, very friendly and caring staff and most importantly; sublime food! The steak tartare and truffle mash is to die for! Will definitely come back! Very family friendly (despite not step free). Can not speak highly enough of this place!
First time here but have been meaning to try it for a while. I only said brunch as that is what we were there for. The food was great, (Croque Madame, pancakes and avo on cornbread) service amazing, atmosphere epic (pianist in beautiful surroundings!) and all very reasonable. We all said we would be back to try the dinner menu. Thanks guys. Absolutely loved it!
This is my favourite spot for saturday brunch with my boyfriend, friends or family. It is fun and has live music which really gives it a great atmosphere.
I love the fact that it is hidden away from the main road and that only a few still are in the know.
I would highly recomend, but not too much as I like the secretness of it. ;)
Food was delicious and the portions were generous. Brunch menu is not big but covers a bit of everything - in fact I wanted to try more! Drinks menu could do with some more juice / healthy options though for those who want brunch to be more a healthy affair.
Great ambiance in the upstairs room with the open plan concept nicely executed. Piano with a giant vase on top was well-placed. Bit hard to find the stairs to and it's tucked away in the neighbourhood, but worth the trek to come here.
