Food was gorgeous and staff super friendly.
Was very quiet as no music but I imagine with the piano being played the ambience would be perfection.
Loved it definitely going back!
Definitely love the place, the location ,the people, the food and all the atmosphere! Great job! :)
Bistrotheque was amazing. Atmosphere and food was great. Perfect night out.
Lovely food and buzz for a Saturday lunch. The piano was a wonderful addition!
Food was delicious and the atmosphere was unbeatable. The live piano playing was such a lovely touch. The service could be a bit better, we waiting so long for our coffees and had to remind them a few times. Otherwise, everything else was fantastic.
Fantastic food and amazing value - the prix fixe menu at £25 per person is unbeating in London and the desserts are to die for! Recommend to all!
Perhaps because the street outside is not award winning on the beauty front, walking into bistroteque is a comfort. The industrial white space softened by warm dimmed lighting, a nice bar, the kitchen on show, and an ambiance of people enjoying themselves. Staff extremely friendly in a professional way, and our order taken pretty promptly - perhaps as were were on the before-7pm-deal and it was 6.55...
The food is fairly traditional, nice if not that inspired. Considering the warehousey nature of the space, seems like an effort has been made to dampen the sound so having a chat doesen't require straining across the table. The fly in the ointment was that after the first course, the main dish took quite a while, and after that desert took ages. The emollient in the ointment was a free cocktail each which were some of the best I have ever had. Will be back even just for that.
Creative and very tasty menu. Great atmosphere.
Quite small portions for the price of the menu
One of the best restaurants I have been to in london.
Cool, trendy place, nice vibe, buzzing on a Sunday at brunchtime. Pianist was entertaining. The acoustics were not great tho, and quite difficult to have a conversation with friends on your table. Food was nice, but quite expensive for what it is, I would say.
We were impressed by the meals, definitely thinking about going back sometime soon and trying new things from the menu!
Waited 30 mins to be seated after our reservation time, and then the food took another hour to arrive. Overall, seems like they have more tables than they can manage. Food good though but pricey.
There was nothing on the menu to order so disappointing everything we asked was not available at the end we just had to walk out
Whilst the restaurant setting was really nice, the food wasn’t great. Overpriced and not amazingly done.
We’ve been meaning to try Bistrotheque for years and sadly found it disappointing. The food was okay - the cod was tasty but the cauliflower was unbelievably bland. Service was timely but the server was anything but friendly. All of it seemed overpriced for what it was.
Good for small groups of people. Interesting menu in a great environment. Gin and tonics a bit disappointing but wines are good.
Service very slow - and restaurant was only half full.
Heating not working so room was cold.
Some dishes off but those still on were very tasty.
Prix fixe available before 7pm is good value.
Clearly, we did not go on a good day.
Thank you for making the birthday super special. Fabulous as always
I took my sister to Bistrotequeh for her birthday. The celeriac starter was an absolute game changer! Better than the steak, which was incredible, yet, the celeriac, for me at least, was a culinary revelation! We both had a fantastic meal with great service and an amazing wine list to boot! Will definitely go back!
Nice setting, great food and incredible service. Will be going back!
Everytime I go I have such an amazing time <3 the place is great, the food is fab and the service is fantastic. In the evening or for weekend brunch : it's perfect.
Just problem with smell
Really exceptional. Food, service, wine, cocktails - it’s 10/10. Love the open kitchen, unique place. Highly recommend
We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We ordered before 7pm so to make the most of the prix fixe menu and we received exactly the same treatment as I have when ordering normally. It was superb food, service and drinks. The cocktails are good and wine list too.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, just great!
nothing further to add but having been on many occasions I hold Bistroteque in high regard
Service was fantastic, everyone very friendly and were great about us having a baby with us!
Portions looked a bit on the small side for the price but both myself and my husband felt sufficiently fed (we had pancakes and the English breakfast)
Quite a loud restaurant and you can't quite hear the pianist, which is a shame! But good atmosphere and would definitely go again!
We had a lovely evening. Great restaurant, service and food.
From the moment we arrived until we left, a lovely evening- great food, attentive, friendly service, great atmosphere
Very nice place with industrial ambience, good food and tasty cocktails
Super trendy, and the food was delicious. A little wait for our starters but the servers noticed this before we did, and offered us a free round of drinks. Would definitely go back.
Another wonderful meal at Bistroteqe. Impecable service and understated relaxed environment...we will be back.
Always good. Been quite a few times and never dissapointed.
This restaurant is a firm favourite. It always delivers wonderful flavoursm food and the piano guy is brilliant! Brunch and dinner equally delicious.
We had a great waitress. She spoke french, which made it easier to place our orders.
We tried the brunch menu, everything was good, except the orange juice ( it was ok but nothing special).
A little bit noisy but we had a great time
Do not get the hype, and I hate having to write a bad review. Were bombarded by three different staff members within two minutes of sitting down asking us to order. Unhappy with portion size - two small pancakes. They were cold and the honeycomb topping just tasted like burnt pieces of food which infiltrated the taste of the rest of the dish. I don’t understand why people love this place so much! The piano playing for the brunch however was wonderful and the staff overall were kind.
I really love this place, Great menu - non-stuffy quality with great atmosphere. Recommended!
Ham hock terrine and roasted cod were both very memorable dishes. Roasted cod was served with a green pepper emulsion which added a nice spice to a fish that was perfectly prepared for maximum moisture (rarity with fish preparation). Service was attendant (especially given it was NYE) and very well-informed on the menu, which was important as one of our party has a dairy restriction. Great place for a special occasion and a good meal.
We've been coming for birthdays for many years.
Just a little disappointed with my French toast this year. Strangely huge, no jam inside.
No need to mess with French toast.
Nothing to write home about for these prices, at least for Sunday brunch. The live piano unfortunately was more like an added noise to the already noisy environment. Very poor acoustics, and plates of food that left us all unimpressed. Cannot really understand what the fuss is all about this restaurant. If it is the warehouse 'novelty', I do not think this can count as novelty nowadays.
