Food was amazing. We went for a late brunch at 14:00 on Sunday and the atmosphere was ideal for this. Sadly by the time we ordered they had run out of avocado and pancakes. Which was a shame but didn't dampen the experience. Great place for casual but also fancy sunday brunches.
Fantastic ambience, excellent food and wine. Regularly changing menu is a plus, but they do often run out of some popular dishes.
This might now be my favourite restaurant in London. Chic but not pretentious. Great food, really interesting menu. Great decor and atmosphere. Now I'm looking for another reason to go back!
It was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and very attentive without being overpowering.
The NICEST and tastiest chicken I’ve ever eaten. It’s slow cooked through a process taking 14 or 15 hours and is just moist garlicky heaven.
I had an amazing lunch on Sunday with the best pianist playing in the background! The food was excellent and I couldn’t recommend it enough to everyone! I am for sure going back for some more music and delicious food! The service was excellent and the waiters were great! I have asked which dessert he would recommend and his answer was very honest and I ended up with the best dessert! Thank you guys!
Very good service, friendly vibe from the staff, amazing food and relaxed setting. Regular goers and will be baxl
Spectacular food, every single dish! Service was outstanding. Chloé took great care of us she was amazing and was very accommodating. Thank you!
Great venue, gorgeous brunch and our waiter was great. The only thing that spoiled the day is as when the maitre’d hurried us off our table while we were stills enjoying our drinks without giving a 30 minute warning. He also hovered over us while we split the bill which was slightly annoying. A minor point but other than that, a fab place. Would definitely recommend
Lovely food lovely staff great place! Highly recommended.
We come since 10 years and love it. Jamming along to David Bowie tunes and enjoying delicious food.
Lovely space, good
food. Pleasant staff, but service was a bit slow - waited 20 mins to be seated even with a reservation.
Best cod I have ever tasted!!
Delicious food, great atmosphere. Loved the carrot starter and the fillet
good brunch but not for dinner,
my steak tartare was very bland and has no capers
I think the staff could do with a bit more training. One of us ordered carrots for a starter but was given steak tartare. There was no apology for this mistake. She was quite cold and unfriendly and we had to ask each time we wanted a menu, wine list or cocktail. Because of this, we ultimately spent less money but it was irritating trying to catch her attention.
The food and place were great :)
Very good overall. Good food, good space, good service.
I will come back, amazing value for the money
First time visiting. Good food and good service.
The menu was quite exciting as it had bold and slightly unusual options. Drinks were very good and overall good value.
Setting is very nice, service v attentive. Would recommend
Excellent service. Fantastic food and drinks - one of best brunches my daughter and I have had. Can’t wait to return.
Bistrotheque is hard to find... the logo outside could be helpful.
Great food and super friendly service.
Wonderful experience at Bistrotheque. We went for our anniversary, so expectations were high. We got an early table (orders in before 7.00pm Except Saturdays) for the prix fixe deal which was excellent value; then we gladly spent what we saved on oysters and wine. The food was superb; scallops, steak tartare and the pressed beef bourguignon, and sides of caramelised hispi cabbage and rosemary potatoes. Decent wine list from affordable to fancy and the cocktails at the bar were a great start. The service was impeccable, always ready but never intrusive and also friendly. Casual fine dining in Hackney. Totally recommended.
The food was amazing!! Also it's very good value for money if you order before 7pm - 3 courses for £25, especially considering the steak alone is £20. Lovely service but could do with some background music for ambience.
Awesome as usual. We live in North London and keep coming back. The food never disappoints and service is good. The atmosphere is great, not at all pretentious. Only thing that was not ideal was the restrooms as they had run out of toiletries.
A lovely place to go on a date. PS! their fish & chips are superb!
Some of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The pancakes were amazing but the eggs royale not so outstanding, a bit rushed but maybe because it was really busy! Good value for money though. It was a Saturday morning and it was very busy and loud so it was hard to hear each other talking or even hear the live piano.
Great experience. Really attentive service and delicious food. Bloody Mary was fantastic. A real find and would highly recommend.
The vibe was great, dim lighting always makes me feel more relaxed. We were greeted by cheerful staff who were attentive all evening. The meal was excellent, the chicken had amazing flavours and I particularly loved the crab and celeriac starter. Superb value for money, 3 courses for £25 - you can’t go wrong!
The food and staff were wonderful as usual. My only slight concern, was that the tables for two are very small and very squashed when bread, water, wine etc are on the table. Also, the lighting is too dark (maybe my age!), but it is difficult to see what you are eating, and I ate a whole piece of garlic and had to request some parsley to remove the overpowering taste! i do love your restaurant though and always come when in the area.
I booked bistrotechque for my husbands birthday. We arrive and there are a lot of things not available on the menu and sold at lunch?? It was 7.30pm on a Sunday, i was a little disappointed as had booked this restaurant for the bavette in particular. Other than that, it was great.
Fantastic food & atmosphere, it's my favourite brunch spot in London. Unfortunately last time we visited, our waitress wasn't great. We ordered coffees, which just simply never turned up. We had to keep reminding the staff of the missing coffees (4 times!), and then two lots of coffees arrived at the same time... this happened both at the beginning of our meal, and at the end of our meal as well.
We re-arranged at the last minute to add another friend, who was late. They really tried to work with me to accommodate and the food and Bloody Mary's for brunch were fantastic.
Great value when dining before 7pm, and food was all amazing. We were very full by dessert by each dish was perfect - the chicken was particularly good. Would definitely recommend!
Brilliant, as always!
I have always loved this place ! It never disappoints
Bistrotheque is simply phenomenal. Outstanding food and great service.
We were there at 6pm and it appears that if you order before 7pm, you pay £25 pp for starter dish, main dish and desert !! Great value for money, everything was delicious. It was a bit hard to find the venuw though.
Great culinary experience, good wine and cocktail selection.
