Really bright environment which I really like, friendly with confidentiality, delicious food, highly recommended!
Entering the venue, feels incredibly unique as there are no signs or postings outside. Interesting idea for a restaurant, with very attentive staff. The food though is both bland and distinctly average, devoid of any real flavour. The prices do not certainly meet this standard, and I would consider it to be overly priced for what I ate.
multiple items on the menu not available and zero ambiance
Love it! We go there monthly and it’s amazing. Lovely staff and great fod
We had a really good time. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. Our only disappointment was that we hadn’t found out about this place earlier!
Orange steamer pudding was amazing
Brilliant, as usual.
Never disappoints. First time on a Saturday night with a number of birthday celebrations going on around us. Excellent vibe and energy in the room.
The food choices were limited as they had run out of various items. The same applied to the wine - run out of a standard Gavi di Gavi. I didn't expect this from a large restaurant. The service was very casual. The actual space was nice but not enough to persuade me to go back. It has passed its best. Many other restaurants have now surpassed it which is a shame as it was great when it first opened.
Excellent as always, my favourite place to eat in London. I do miss the cornbread from the brunch menu though.
Went for brunch, my eggs florentine was way too salty, really not very nice. The restaurant looks good, but it was too warm and very noisy due to the echoy room. I was on a table for 2 but we struggled to hear each other. We were also placed next to the piano so when that started being played it was even worse.
Delicious food and drinks, and the service is excellent
Great good, great staff who are human. Will be coming back soon
My fav London brunch!!! The food, the service, the venue, the vibe.... it has it all! Perfect for a Saturday/Sunday stroll around Hackney.
The bacon eggs benedict are TO DIE for and i always go for it. The pancakes and the steak tartare were delicious too.
Live piano on the weekends!
I’ll be back soon ;)
All good - very nice place where to dine! Good food, nice service.
A perfect mix between East London casual warehouse vibes and french fine dining. I loved it and would go time and time again
Food was amazing. We went for a late brunch at 14:00 on Sunday and the atmosphere was ideal for this. Sadly by the time we ordered they had run out of avocado and pancakes. Which was a shame but didn't dampen the experience. Great place for casual but also fancy sunday brunches.
Fantastic ambience, excellent food and wine. Regularly changing menu is a plus, but they do often run out of some popular dishes.
This might now be my favourite restaurant in London. Chic but not pretentious. Great food, really interesting menu. Great decor and atmosphere. Now I'm looking for another reason to go back!
It was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and very attentive without being overpowering.
The NICEST and tastiest chicken I’ve ever eaten. It’s slow cooked through a process taking 14 or 15 hours and is just moist garlicky heaven.
I had an amazing lunch on Sunday with the best pianist playing in the background! The food was excellent and I couldn’t recommend it enough to everyone! I am for sure going back for some more music and delicious food! The service was excellent and the waiters were great! I have asked which dessert he would recommend and his answer was very honest and I ended up with the best dessert! Thank you guys!
Very good service, friendly vibe from the staff, amazing food and relaxed setting. Regular goers and will be baxl
Spectacular food, every single dish! Service was outstanding. Chloé took great care of us she was amazing and was very accommodating. Thank you!
Great venue, gorgeous brunch and our waiter was great. The only thing that spoiled the day is as when the maitre’d hurried us off our table while we were stills enjoying our drinks without giving a 30 minute warning. He also hovered over us while we split the bill which was slightly annoying. A minor point but other than that, a fab place. Would definitely recommend
Lovely food lovely staff great place! Highly recommended.
We come since 10 years and love it. Jamming along to David Bowie tunes and enjoying delicious food.
Lovely space, good
food. Pleasant staff, but service was a bit slow - waited 20 mins to be seated even with a reservation.
Best cod I have ever tasted!!
Delicious food, great atmosphere. Loved the carrot starter and the fillet
good brunch but not for dinner,
my steak tartare was very bland and has no capers
I think the staff could do with a bit more training. One of us ordered carrots for a starter but was given steak tartare. There was no apology for this mistake. She was quite cold and unfriendly and we had to ask each time we wanted a menu, wine list or cocktail. Because of this, we ultimately spent less money but it was irritating trying to catch her attention.
The food and place were great :)
Very good overall. Good food, good space, good service.
I will come back, amazing value for the money
First time visiting. Good food and good service.
The menu was quite exciting as it had bold and slightly unusual options. Drinks were very good and overall good value.
Setting is very nice, service v attentive. Would recommend
Excellent service. Fantastic food and drinks - one of best brunches my daughter and I have had. Can’t wait to return.
Bistrotheque is hard to find... the logo outside could be helpful.
Great food and super friendly service.
Wonderful experience at Bistrotheque. We went for our anniversary, so expectations were high. We got an early table (orders in before 7.00pm Except Saturdays) for the prix fixe deal which was excellent value; then we gladly spent what we saved on oysters and wine. The food was superb; scallops, steak tartare and the pressed beef bourguignon, and sides of caramelised hispi cabbage and rosemary potatoes. Decent wine list from affordable to fancy and the cocktails at the bar were a great start. The service was impeccable, always ready but never intrusive and also friendly. Casual fine dining in Hackney. Totally recommended.
