New York Steak Sandwich*
Hand-cut, flame-grilled, sliced New York Strip with sautéed onions, mayo and Bleu cheese crumbles
Good, tasty food. Patio dining was quiet and mostly empty. Good service from a friendly waitress.
Service was excellent, as well as the food. Prices increased more then expected but understandable.
It's black angus, it's back and open. Wish the bar was better
The homeless/RV encampment really kills the mood when dining outside in your already sad "make shift" outdoor dining.
Food was great service was great. Nice and Quite. I look forward to going back
Very good service and food but very quiet wish they would put some TVs on in the bar area maybe soon 😉
Our dinning experience was great.
Service was very good
Great service. Good food. Very nice! Very pleasant outdoor dining.
one of our steaks was a little tough, prices went up a little
We always have a nice time staff is always friendly lol they know us by name
Are used to be able to eat at Black Angus all the time but 2020 was a different story I must admit that it was probably the best meal I’ve had at Black Angus and the parties that were with me they would have to agree. It seems like the less people the better the food and there are no complaints anywhere with from the people that were with me👍👍
We enjoyed our meal. The service was very good.
I’ve been eating here for years. No better value for the price. Service was excellent. Food was well prepared. Good to be back inside. No thousand island dressing, so we brought our own. They said they will have it back soon.
Bring back the brussel sprouts and the artichokes all year long.
The food was given really fast and the waiter her self was very kind coming every second too make sure we were okay!
Ist time back inside since Covid! Had reservation and it was honored! Service was good. Meals were brought out, mine was wrong and both of our steaks were well done when we asked for medium. They made it up by providing a free dessert!
We had a reservation and was seated within minutes as it wasn’t busy at 5 pm. We were seated in a nice booth and the waitress was there within minutes. She asked if we wanted any drinks which at that time we didn’t except for water. Once she brought our water we ordered. Both couples wanted the Campfire Special. I ordered the grilled shrimp dinner with two sides and my husband ordered a sirloin steak. The other couple ordered chicken and ribs. Both parties got a choice of appetizer and we got the zucchini and they got potato skins. Both were good. We received our salads next which was one of the sides and they were nice sized salads. The dinners arrived shortly after we were finished with our salads. All our meals were cooked nicely and we all enjoyed them. We also received a dessert which we had to go. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant. The staff was very pleasant and they were following the Covid mandates, maybe a little extreme though as the waitress wore a mask, face shield and gloves. It was difficult to hear what she was asking though with all the face coverings. The restaurant was very clean and wouldn’t allow you to go out the door you came in they made another exit due to Covid.
Always a good time
The service was first class. Dianne took care of us and she was just great. I will be returning sooner than later.
My wife and I needed a night out and the Black Angus was now open for indoor dining. It had been a while since we had been indoors at a restaurant and we were looking forward to a good meal. The Black Angus did not let us down. We were immediately greeted upon entering the restaurant and quickly seated in a semi private section near the bar which allowed us a good view of the restaurant décor. Our waitress quickly appeared and let us know about specials and took our drink order - 1/2 priced bottle of wine!. Water, bread, and our wine were quickly brought to the table and our order taken. We had the sampler appetizer and it was a meal in it's self. The shrimp and rib dinners were soon served and were both delicious. Neither of us could finish our feasts so we had some ribs, a baked potato, and few extras packed to go for our lunch the next day. We took a slice of cheese cake home for latter that night. The restaurant was clean, service - amazing, and food - awesome! Looking forward to our next "date night" at the Black Angus!
Good food good setvice
Great Service, great food. We were glad to be back after a year.
Jadra was a VERY GOOD server. Friendly, professional and timely. There was a problem
with the martinis which she handled nicely.
Love Black Angus!! Been going to the Northridge location for all most 40 years. John is a great manager
We were assured that we could order our full meal without being rushed. The salad came before the appetizer was finished and the entree came before half our salad was completed. I advised the server of our unsatisfactory service so he blamed it on the kitchen. My husband ordered a medium New York steak and got a medium rare grisly steak. I ordered a butterflied well filet. It was red in the middle and burned on the outside. We took over half home for our dogs. We wanted the mud pie for dessert, which they didn’t have. It will be a very long time before we return. The food and the service was very disappointing!
Our server was outstanding. She welcome us with a simile and made our experience very pleasing. She gave us enough time to enjoy our appetizer and salads before our meals arrived. I really appreciate that she brewed fresh decaf coffee as I requested with my dessert. Food and service were truly outstanding.
I finally was able to go to black Angus since covid-19. Walked in and saw I need a reservation for dine in. I made my reservation on open table for 5:30, it was 5:25 at the time. Was sat about 5 minutes later. Food was not as good as I remember. Steak was a tad over cooked and not as flavorful as I remember. The service on the other hand is what stood out. I feel the the staff is less stressed because there are less diners at any given time.
We always get nice service and servers nice and clean very spaced out
Rebecca is the bomb
I appreciate the outdoor eating, but a slightly upscale place like Black Angus could at least try to make it look decent. The food was fine, but the bread was on a the stale side. A bread warmer is much better than a microwave. Service was great, but then it wasn't all that busy.
Since it just reopening for dining there was only 4 of us inside. The food was delicious and the service was great.
We had a great experience dining indoors for the first time in a while. The wait staff was kind and diligent checking in on us frequently. We felt safe and were distanced quite well.
Amazing experience with being able to go back inside. Service and food was great!
Food is not like before was bad and not fresh And the restaurant smells bad
Nos mandaron a una mesa al aire libre , pero todo estaba sucio y las carpas todas rotas, pegaba mucho el sol, la comida y servicios muy buenos
Very bad outdoor dining set up. The tents and tarps were not set up to keep the sun or wind away from diners.
It was a windy day. We saw food be blown off a diners plate. There was a huge gust of wind that had leaves, sticks, and flowers flying through the dining area. We were lucky that our waitress had yet to bring our drinks or food.
I know time are challenging, but the set up was poorly executed. There are so many better set ups for outdoor dining elsewhere. We definitely won't eat outside here again.
Disappointed that the table of diners that arrived after us received drinks and bread about 10 minutes before we did. Bread did not come out under our appetizers did.
Food was good, service was okay, but for a $100 lunch, the outdoor setting really ruined it. Not worth it at all
Prime rib was tough and not much flavor.
Top sirloin was a little tough but cooked perfectly.
Service was excellent.
The food and service were great! It was nice eating inside again.
I have eaten at the Black Angus Many times, but this time the FOOD was terrible.
We ordered the Campfire special with Baby back ribs (and upgraded) to the a 'Rib-eye steak'.
The Ribs were soooo old and well done it was difficult to get the meat off the bone, and the Rib-eye was extremely well done (you could have used it to walk on), besides that it was only about 1/4 inch thick (very, very thin).
The Ribs looked like the cook / chef just smeared some BBQ sauce on them and served them up to eat, . . . . I reported the problem with the Ribs to the manager and he offered to bring us another order, but I was already too full to eat anything else so I said, "don't bother".
The service was pretty good, if he was ever around to get his attention. OH, and the music was sooo loud, we couldn't hear each other (note: there was only one speaker, and it was placed by our table).
We asked the server, the clean-up helper, . . . everyone we could find, if they could PLEASE 'turn-off' the music, . . with NO action, . . finely we asked for the Manager. He informed us that he couldn't do anything about the music, I than looked up at him and said, "if you don't move the music, I WILL". He gave me 'this' stare for a moment then walked over to the (wireless) music box and moved it to another place.
