Was very cold and dirty outside. Tried to move inside but manager refused. The tables outside are cold and traffic noise is extreme. Not happy with the seating.
I will say first how impressed I was with the way they followed Covid rules. Soooo many restaurants do not and I think they deserve huge kudos for doing that. The food was good, service was nice. It was a great way to ease back into going out!
Service was excellent. Hector is the best waiter. Thank you
Outstanding customer customer
Food was outstanding!
I was a little disappointed bcuz my ribs were over cooked and dry and chicken breast was the same dry
It’s was a good experience everything was delicious
Prices have gone up since the last time I was there, but food wasn’t worth the price.
Black Angus is a very good place to eat, but without a coupon it is also pretty expensive.
Very nice restaurant.
We always enjoying dining there. Lou is a wonderful manager and takes very good care of the customers.
We always order shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, petite filet mignon and bake potato. Very good and never disappointed. (Sometime the salmon which is excellent).
The servers a good too.
They are doing a great job trying to get back in the swing of things after the pandemic.
First time back to Black Angus since the pandemic and in-door dining has been suspended. Awesome
my order prime rib was 70 percent fat dinner was cold only second time in years wont order prime rib again should have sent back but not too forward [cheeky john mcintyre
Ivan was our waiter and he was excellent. We were celebrating a birthday so we splurged a little and had a lot of fun!
The server was great but the front people who greet you were very rude. I almost left because of them and it made me upset cause it was my mother’s birthday.
The server was very professional and kind. She took care of all of our needs. She was the BEST
Made a RSVP for 3/14/21 at 4:30pm. We arrived on time and were told to wait in our car for a text message because they were behind. We received a text at 5:05 that our table was ready. We were greeted quickly and placed our dinner order. Our food was delivered at 6:04pm. Took a really long time to come out. We were a party of 3. We had potato skins for our starter/appetizer. I ordered 8oz Sirloin medium well with a salad and baked potato. My husband ordered 6oz Filet mignon cooked medium with a salad and mac&cheese and my grandson ordered full rack of baby back ribs with salad and fries. My steak was 100% burned on one side and 50% burned on the other side, i asked for medium well. My husbands filet was charred black on the outside and bloody throughout the rest. My grandson’s ribs were burned on one end and really burned on the opposite end. We tried to eat our food. We waited almost an hour for it and had to wait an extra 40 min in our car for our table to be ready. We were hungry. I could not cut through my sirloin. It was too burned and tough. I ate my baked potato and when the bus boy walked by I asked to speak to the manager since we only seen our waitress one time when she took our order. The look on the manager’s face was shocked to think that her kitchen staff would plate up those pieces of meat and send them out to paying customers. She offered to make me another steak but i kindly declined for several reasons, my family was finished with their meals and it was really cold outside to wait for another steak and Im also afraid of what the kitchen staff will do to my food because I complained about my burned steak. I asked the manager to remove my steak from our tab and she did and also removed the price of the loaded potato skins. The food was horrible, the service was horrible the outside dinning experience was horrible. We will NEVER eat at this Black Angus again. My husband and I ate here regularly on Sundays before covid in the bar area.
Food and service was excellent. Will definitely be going back.
Our server was Hector and he went above and beyond to make this dinner experience special. Very friendly, attentive and you had the feeling he is so happy to be back at work and made everyone special.
I heard it’s open for dining now. We ate outside, it was cold but the heater helped. We had a uneven to floor table so it was kinda annoying. No biggie though all was great. Look forward to going again.
It was very cold where we were sitting. They did not have heaters. I asked for one and the guy said he would get one but didn’t.
Also I could not even cut the prime rib. I have never had a prime rib like this. I did not eat it!
Service was good. They are doing the best they can with us outside in a tent. A bit disappointed that the meal we bought to take home to someone else was missing the appetizer. But we didn’t realize this until we were home.
Great place to go eat but the servers need to be more aware of guests and their children running around .. in the dinning area .. with no mask on .. I mean we are in covid still
I left and took my food to go because I was just not feeling the vibe
Covid Dining outdoors. They did the best that they could under the circumstances!
A little pricey for lunch, would be nice if they had a lunch menu...
It was a wonderful meal, it was cold outside, but the wait staff was really nice.
Food was great and our server did his best to provide excellent service. Due to the restaurant being short staffed, the server looked like he was overwhelmed. We asked our server for the heat lamp to be turned on but it never got communicated. Everything else turned out great.
Black Angus is one of our favorite restaurants. I am writing this because we have been there many times before and it is close to our house. In the past, we have had better experiences regarding the cut of the steak. We usually get ribeye, top sirloin, or filet mignon. This time we felt the cut of the ribeye and top sirloin was off. The cut was so much thinner this time. It was not restaurant worthy, but rather a thin cut that I would find a t a super market. It made us wonder if there was a novice chef in the kitchen because we usually go home happy. The portions of the sides were smaller also. I felt that maybe they were running out of food that evening or running low on provisions that night. Maybe it is due to Covid 19, but we hope that everything goes back to normal because we felt we paid a lot for what we got in terms of value. That being said, the ribs were good. They could have been a bit meatier on one side, but passed because of the flavor and the way they were cooked. The broccoli, mash potatoes, and baked potato and chicken tenders had a great flavor and were cooked to perfection. Thanks for listening. I hope that everything goes back to normal after Covid 19 so that we may enjoy Black Angus more.
It was great. Ribeye and the lobster tail was really good.
The food was great, the price was fantastic for Dine LA.
The waitress was not very friendly or attentive. For the price we paid I feel the food was very mediocre.
Food was excellent, and the service was fantastic. It was very good.
The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star experience is Mother Nature as she was windy and cold. But Black Angus did the best that could be expected under the circumstances.
My family and I were celebrating my birthday. We had a delicious dinner and our server was extra attentive. We celebrate all birthdays at Black Angus and were so happy to have it open again. Our favorite restaurant.
The service is always very good. The food is prepared well, always tasty and good value for the money.
Food was great but the tent situation is not the best.
We havent been out to eat since Sept 2020 here. it was great and food was delicious
Hector was really friendly and helpful, thank you so much!
My husband had better juice steaks before, also don't go after 5pm its to cold outside. However the service was good and other foods.
It was a little cold, after a while they brought out the heaters which made it nice. Food and drinks were good and we were served right away.
We waited 20 mins before a server checked on us and allowed drink order then another 15 before we got water then another 15 for Overall for the price the food was subpar after $60 on a steak quesadilla, a steak sandwich, a Childs dinner plate for $10 and old fashion and a soda. This place used to be great I was underwhelmed while trying to support a local business.
