Staff and service is top notch, very attentive without being "too much", and they did a nice thing by splitting a shared pasta dish into individual plates for us.
The food is always great, but I am pretty sure that was the best piece of Ahi Tuna I have had in Toronto.
Weekend entertainment makes it a complete night.

This restaurant is located in Yorkville, my favorite area in downtown Toronto. Excellent service, everybody was so friendly and efficient. You don’t have to wait for your dishes for forever. Food were above average. Great atmosphere!!!! They have live music every Friday and Saturday after 8pm.
Felt very young compared to the rest of the customers and felt the food was a little above average.
It was my husband's birthday and Blu was the perfect place to celebrate. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Not recommended for vegans: Went for my boyfriend's birthday, I'm vegan, but he isn't that's why I didn't pick a vegan restaurant...not good for vegans, limited choices, and bland (the mushroom/leek soup and zucchini pasta anyway). Tomato salad (no cheese) was really good tho. My bf liked the ahi tuna and beet fritter w aoili

The food was amazing!!! I highly recommend checking out Blu! I had the tuna tartar and octopus to start, and the zucchini noodles with peas and side grilled shrimp as my main, absolutely delicious !
Always a great meal here. Very reasonable corkage at $45 and ask for Bryan, what an excellent server, he made sure we were very well looked after.

I’m not sure how we missed this place before. The food was outstanding. The menu was creative and there at least two to three options for my vegetarian husband. The service was attentive but not intrusive. A limited wine by the glass and cocktail list but good selection nonetheless. I appreciated the live music that was just loud enough but never too loud to hold conversation. Highly recommended.

We love Blu. From the warm welcome to the friendly exit, our evening here was just about perfect. We had suffered from a tough trip into Toronto on a Sunday in October and this place soothed and comforted all our senses and really pleased us. The menu was expansive and both our choices delicious and more that plentiful. The wine list was well rounded and made good choices easy. All the servers were considerate and professional and the environment is beautiful and restful, with original, easy background musical choices. We plan to return frequently to enjoy this lovely and reasonably priced oasis. We believe that people of all culinary preferences would be very happy to find this place.
Celebrated 6 years with my fiancé and Blu made it beyond special for us! Excellent food and unparalleled service. Looking forward to coming back.

Excellent service and nice ambiance. My partner rated the main course tuna very highly ... and my starter of heirloom tomatoes was outstanding (the sauce made the dish) ... but my main course stuffed acorn squash ravioli was a poor dish that did not befit a restaurant of this quality, being pretty much tasteless (maybe lacking an essential ingredient?? who knows?). The desert tiramisu was not in any way remarkable. Had it not been for the tomato dish, I would have derated the restaurant one star lower.
