Blue Point Grill
Excellent food as always. Never disappointed. Highly recommend this restaurant
We eat there frequently. Took some out of town guests. Three out of four were very happy. The person who was dissatisfied said the seafood in the Cioppino was very sandy:gritty
great choices.. great prep... great energy
I had high hopes from the reviews but I did not enjoy my food at all. Everything I had was bland and uninteresting to me.
If you love fresh seafood this is THE place to dine.
Great experience. Food is always fresh & never disappoints. They didn’t have my fave dish on the menu but when I asked they were quick to grab the last piece of fish and make it for me.
This was probably the best piece of fish I have ever eaten in my life. The service was spectacular, the oysters were unparalleled, I can't wait to come back again. I took him going to start inventing reasons to celebrate just to find an excuse to come back.
Food, as usual was great. Place was really busy and the noise level was high, difficult to have a conversation without shouting. Don’t know if there is s way to improve the acoustics.
Food was delicious and service was “Just Right”. Parking can be tricky. We got a good spot but we didn’t have enough change for the meter. We asked the hostess if she could give us change for a dollar and she went next door to the market to get us change. Very nice!
The menu is extensive with a variety of price points. The portions were big enough that we had leftovers. No room for dessert.
Overall we had a wonderful experience.
Fish here is the star! This visit didn’t disappoint. The fact that is BYOB just makes it better and better. We started with clams casino and a Caesar salad for the 3 of us. Entrees were sole, swordfish grilled and bronzed swordfish with peaches. All came with potatoes and we had a table portion of asparagus. The fish serving were huge..but delicious. Excellent service as well.
All of our seafood choices were superb - we had the mako shark special, blackened tuna, and the swordfish special. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in Princeton, and our go to locally for fresh seafood.
I was very pleasantly surprised by Blue Point Grill. The menu was interesting and wide-ranging, the ambiance was appealing, the service was excellent (including the runners and bussers...they were very engaged and welcoming), and the food was universally enjoyed by all four of us. We will return when we're in Princeton again and have already told friends to go.
We love the food...it is still noisy and that really is a problem for us... One of us is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids.
I feel a headache as a result of the noise...I’m not at all sure that this is a problem which can be corrected.
We are outside upstairs which was wonderful. Beautiful evening and not too noisy, raw oysters were delicious and waiter was very professional and attentive.
Best seafood place around. Been there a number of times and each time it is simply a great meal
Roof top dining perfect best Lobster Roll since I left Cape Cod. Waiter was great very friendly and willing to please.
Consistently outstanding quality and well prepared seafood and sides. Prices have gotten quite high though.
Excellent as always - great meal, good service, friendly server.
My wift and I had a very nice dinner at Blue Point Grill. We were tabled up on the second floor outdoor balcony, however you would never have known since the service was very good. We were taken care of by the wait staff, and the food came to our table hot and fresh. I had the mixed grill and my wife had the cioppino. Our only concern was the value. The food was very delicious, however the portions were very small. Unfortunately, we left hungry. If you want a nice, relaxing, casual, 'expensive' snack. Then, this is a great option.
Great meal as usual, best seafood around by a wide margin. Carlos was our server and was exceptional.
The food was Awesome. Our server Virginia was exceptional. We were celebrating my brother's 50th birthday.
The food was good except for the baked potato. It had a couple bad spots and I thought for the price it could have been a better quality potato.
The food was excellent. The server seemed uneducated about what is served. Not bad, she was friendly but she should know more about the menu.
Megan was our server - Outstanding young woman
Lake trout best I’ve ever had 👍
The food is fresh enough, we tried the sole and if you close your eyes it was hard to tell what fish it was, but still it was fresh and white. Quite expensive but simple and uncomplicated in a town with little competition, I’ve had a lot better and a lot worse. Will return but with lower expectations than this first visit.
Outstanding fish. Fresh, cooked perfectly and delicious. Staff is friendly and accommodating. A great find.
Great seafood in an informal but very noisy room. Outstanding service.
Wonderful server, loved the outdoor seating. Food was fantastic as always!
Wonderful atmosphere: great food: will dine there again.
I love this place but it is crazy expensive. Makes it tough to have as a regular ‘go to’.
Always consistent in variety & quality of food items. Lobster bisque & Jumbo crab cakes for me & octopus & catfish for my friend. Very good service. Next time we will ask for roof terrace seating.
Food is always good here. Very fresh and delicious! Always have a great meal here.
Disappointed. Black cod the size of a credit card. Sea bass a better choice. Still, expected something more special for meals over $34 each.
As a foodie, this was not a good choice. Small portions, odd pairings and lack of final prep oversight. The location is outstanding and with some staff training and attention to detail this could be a winner...for now I'll pass.
Everything was perfect. Food, waitress, vibe, food. Did I say food twice? It was that good.
Lovely dinner dining outside for my girlfriends birthday. Food was yummy and our server was excellent! Thanks for a lovely evening. Jane Shea
Brought a friend their for her 81st birthday. She enjoyed four huge oysters, along with jalapeño lime shrimp for our appetizers. Her entree was seared yellow fin tuna that melted in your mouth. She enjoyed sampling my grilled halibut. For dessert we shared chocolate raspberry ice cream from The Bent Spoon. It was a perfect evening.
Nice outdoor dining...good value as it’s a byob!
Waiter was very accommodating !
Requested that the Chilean sea bass be grilled with as little oil as possible and it was delicious!
Service was amazing
