Bluebird Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We took a friend to Bluebird for a belated 40th birthday lunch and had an excellent time. The Bluebird has been around for a long time but you would be mistaken in thinking it had rested on its laurels. The staff from the get go where friendly and helpful, without overdoing it. The food was excellent. We were told we had ordered three new that day dishes as our Mains and they were all delicious. We had the Pork, the Cod and the Sea Bream and we would recommend all three. I have give Bluebird a 5 for Value as you pay for what you get... which is excellent service, food and ambience.
This is the second time we've been in the last 3 months for a birthday celebration. The food is good but what makes this place is the service. Both times it has been outstanding and makes you realise why you'd go here in preference to the Ivy Chelsea . It's fun, buzzy and you're treated like they care about your experience
Booked on line , seated straight away, served drinks quickly , attentive staff, checked all the order, food came steadily on hot plates, wine served continually with the meal, we had the chateaubriand rare, was cooked to perfection the only thing we didn't like was the roasted lettuce thing with sprinkles on top, serve vegetables instead , fortunately we ordered green beans so left the lettuce thing, other than that couldn't complain about a thing. Tables well spaced and good ambiance
