sat outside in shade by the water and fantastic boats. easy to talk outside, great wait staff fully aware of wiping everything down due to Coronavirus.
Service, food and staff was great. It was a really good experience. I will recommend this restaurant. View was nice.
Food was prepared and enjoyed, but definitely overpriced for what you get and then having to pay for sides separately in additional to the high price of the entree ordered.
Also, being charged for the bread when you order meals. The meals at Longhorn and Outback are just as tasty and half the price and twice the food. Sorry to say, only went to The Boatyard because we had @ gift card. High marks for the servers.
Had to wait 20 minutes beyond our reservation to be seated outside. The outside tables were over half empty. Then we were told the where changing over from lunch to dinner so we can only order apps, salad or raw bar. It was fine, it was enough and it was good, but we should have been told sooner (like when we made the reservation.) Lastly, do NOT let them sit you under the tree. The table was covered in sap and it got on our clothes and sap actually got in my hair.
Had a great lunch, food was fresh, the table they gave us was phenomenal, the waiter was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and was very helpful in food selection. Everything went smoothly. Definitely returning. Thanks
Very nice and enjoyed the experience
Amazing outdoor dinning atmosphere, great food, great service, beautiful view. Great find!
We had another great dining experience at the Boatyard. We had a fabulous waitress named Francesca. She took wonderful care of us.
This was the most expensive meal of our vacation. But, also the best. Truly excellent food and exceptional service (Donald). A not-to-be-missed experience. We will be back next year!
The food is mostly spicy throughout the menu. Wasabi mashed potatoes too spicy to eat.
celebrated with friends
It was a birthday dinner and the service and food was excellent.
I really wanted to love my experience but I didn’t. Dessert plates were dirty. Ladies restroom had no toilet paper or paper towels. Reservations are for inside only- we had to wait one hour for an outside table. It wasn’t lively and energetic. Save your money!
Outside seating is a MUST at this restaurant. The view of the harbor at night with the twinkly lights hanging in the trees above the tables is spectacular. Be prepared - - reservations are only for inside tables, so if you do want to sit outside arrive earlier than your reservation time, or do what we did, have drinks and appetizers in the bar area while you wait for an outside table. The service and food was really good!
Isabelle was our server and did an excellent job describing and recommended the specials. I had the monk fish on her suggestion and that and the cauliflower were outstanding.
Management, at the time of our visit, appears to be catering to the Upscale Spring Break Crowd. Customers should consider whether that level of intensity, and all that goes with it, is consistent with their desires for evening dinner.
Great setting overlooking harbor, excellent seafood and perfect ambiance
Great place. Super nice inside and even better outside next to the water. Beautiful Bar! Food was good. Service was outstanding.
Had a great Anniversary dinner. The food was prepared wonderfully.
Very very loud inside. Not enjoyable. Quality of food has declined in the last couple of years.
We dined quickly, we had to yell to talk to each other !!
Terrific happy hour. You won't find a better place. Service and food top notch. Great place!!
My husband had the swordfish which he said was very good. I had the seafood paella and the quality of the food was very good and the flavor excellent my dish was lukewarm at best. Service was slow so I didn’t want to be eating alone I’d I sent it back to be reheated. The swordfish could have been warmer but overall my husband was satisfied.
We split the blue cheese bib salad and that was excellent.
Great waterside eatery! Go to restaurant when I am in the area.
Waitress was terrific. Greatly added to our dining experience!
Loved the atmosphere and decor. The food was delicious and service was prompt. We will definitely go back and recommend to others if we return to the area. Loved it being on the waterway.
Good food. Great location. Spotty service
Great food, drinks and service!! Worth every penny.
The location and the set up is great.,
Fantastic menu, along with the sea food cart.
Staff from hostess’s to servers were very cordial.
Very good service quick and responsive always a nice atmosphere
Outstanding service, very pretty restaurant, great food. A little loud.
Front desk hostess was not smiling, she seemed like she couldn’t be bothered.
The food was delish, service very good, but was so noisy that it was hard to talk to my friends, but they were happy I took them there.
Excellent experience- lovely lunch
We were in town for vacation and tried the Boatyard for dinner one night. This was our first time, but will not be the last. We had a great time. Food, staff and ambience was first rate.
Nice Birthday lunch for girlfriend which I mentioned on reservation and check in but no one mentioned it or gave any special attention my only disappointment!
Boatyard's location on the inter-coastal is the main draw but the service and food is top rate. Looking forward to returning again when i am next in town.
Had a special night planned with a birthday for a friend. There was a reservation card on the table noting this. No acknowledgement ever came. When I told the server we were taking a slow dinner and that we would order, but don't put all courses in at once. She said no problem, I will wait until your appetizers are finished to put in your entree order. Literally the moment we finished the app, the entrees were placed on our tables. When I once again told her we were supposed to take this slow, she walked away. After dinner, no offers of dessert, coffee, no birthday acknowledgement, just a check. Horrible, horrible service.
Noise level was very high and prevented much conversation. Table was so dark we couldn’t read menu. Noticed tables in middle of room had spotlights. Ours did not.
Food and service were excellent.
We started out with wonderful appetizers of charred calamari and Brussels sprouts. We enjoyed Caesar salads and the beet salads...very generous servings! Our group ate the spiced salmon and grouper piccata entrees. The fish was so fresh and our meals were just excellent. Our server, Jimmy, was very courteous and attentive. He was the best! Haven’t been to the Boatyard in several years since we moved further north, but we will be making the trip more often.
The food and the service were both amazing! I had a great business meeting.
