Bocca Di Lupo
We specialise in the obscure and the delicious highlights of food and wine from all across Italy's twenty regions. If we can make something ourselves, we do - gelati, breads, sausages, salame, pickles, mostarda, and pasta of course - the rest is carefully sourced from Italy. A selection of Italian wines and home-made and imported foods is available for delivery, along with our famous gelato, from Gelupo.
Our Remus Room is a warm and sumptuous setting for any party. It can accommodate twelve to thirty two persons seated, fifty standing, and is always served by its own chef in a dedicated, adjacent kitchen.View Private Dining Details
What Insiders Are Saying
If you want to know where to find the best Italian food in Soho is, it’s at Bocca di Lupo.
Good god this place just gets better with time. Brilliant hospitality and food. Always going to come back to the Boc.
Great place, we love everything about it, food is always fantastic, staff really helpful, and informative, a definite stop for either lunch or dinner, but don’t forget to book, or you will be disappointed.
From the moment we arrived the team were fantastic. Really attentive and helpful.
The food, as always was incredible.
One dish arrived late and we were given a drink on the house - very kind offer.
It was our anniversary and without asking our waiter arrived with a candle in our dessert.
Such a wonderful experience - thank you
Not Impressed: too loud, too dark and the food is ok, would definitely not classify it as one of the best Italian restaurants in London.
Screaming chef made for disruptive lunch, only complaint.
We are regulars at Bocca Di Lupo so know where to ask for a seat and what to expect. We love sitting at the bar watching the team of chefs prepare our food and watching them getting food ready for others diners. Sometimes we say "we should have ordered that" but know that there will be a next time. This occasion was an anniversary celebration and we were given a complimentary glass of Champagne, we selected about 8 or 9 small dishes which are perfect for sharing. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked in a wonderful atmosphere; a real culinary treat.
Excellent place just had to season dishes which why it was 4/5 and not 5/5. Definitely will go back.
A favourite restaurant of ours. Food freshly cooked in front of you. Attentive waiting staff and great ambience. What more could you want
The food, sommelier, and server all made for a fantastic experience. Thank you!
Fantastic ambiance, delicious food and superb service. The fossil fish was a standout as usual, and the fresh pastas we ordered were simply out of this world.
Delicious regional Italian cooking. Loved that you could order everything in small or large plates to share. Perfect for a special occasion.
Delicious food and wine. The malfatti and trofie in particular were brilliant.
Could do with some better ventilation as it was really warm.
Would not hesitate to recommend.
Excelente muy buena la experiencia me
Encanto la opción de los platos pequeños para compartir!
La atención súper!
Lugar muy bien ubicado
hay pocas mesas hay que reservar!
My daughter’s birthday
Very tough menu
Delicious Italian, great service. Interesting dishes but not fussy, just great cooking
Been there numerous times will not be going back due to waiters comments
We were disappointed to to find actual octopus dish on the menu as restaurant is called Polpo and also the beautifully pictured and promoted whole grilled fish on the website that was no longer part of the menu. But our sea bream filet, the nduja arancini and Frito Misto was so delicious we had to order another portion of each!
Lovely always smiling service staff and good value for dining overall. We will return if we are in Covent Garden area again.
Perfect London Italian. Great pre show dining. Lovely date night. This was my third visit. Started with squid/shrimp tempura. Burrata tomato salad. Tortellini. Suckling porchetta. Goat ricotta ragu. Lovely wine. Everything was fabulous. A favorite...
We arrived late as the show we were at overran. The staff were friendly and very understanding, making us feel welcome. The service was extremely efficient and we got our orders very quickly. The food was delicious and perfect for what we needed! All in all, we were all delighted and look forward to going back for seconds!
Every time a total culinary joy!!
Outstanding creative menu, high quality cuisine, extraordinary sensitivity to advance notice re food allergies, excellent service, reasonable cost particularly given quality of every part of the dining experience. Only issue is high decibel noise level, but no worse than other modern London restaurants. If I lived in London I’d be here every week. Unfortunately we have to settle for only 2-3 times a year.
When I arrived at the restaurant, it was absolute chaos. I was left in a queue of impatient diners, who were all crowded, standing in the open doorway and up to the till. I waited for ten minutes, despite having made a reservation. Diners were pushing in and the staff had little control of the queue, and it made for a very unpleasant start to the evening. It was a cold night and the door was kept open throughout our meal, causing an unpleasant draft. I asked to be moved (we were sitting at the bar) but this was not possible because the restaurant was fully booked. The staff made no attempt to close the door. My guest asked for her delicate cashmere coat to be hung on a hanger, to avoid damage, but it was not - and she received it back crumbled with the hook almost damaging the coat, and having made a big indent in the lining and neck line. She was furious. The waiter was impatient to take our order, but once our order was noted, we received little service and had to keep asking the staff behind the bar for extras. Our wine was not poured in a timely manner. The pasta and home made bread were excellent, and the carpaccio and the rest of the food we ordered was good and great value.
Amazing authentic italian food. Highly recommend! Beautiful decor and friendly staff to top it off. Went for mums 60th and was a great find. Everyone left very happy knowing we found somewhere we would definitely go back to... can't wait
The best Italian restaurant anywhere, always delivers.
Bar stools around kitchen (where most of patrons are seated) should be adjustable so that shorter patrons can adjust height.
Food was amazingly good!
Great service, lovely setting, delicious Italian food. The sea bream was especially well cooked and the mozzarella was like you’d get in Italy.
The meal was wonderful. Please can you let me the details of artist whose work was hanging in the restaurant. Great lunch. Thank you
Amazing food, fabulous staff - sommelier was outstanding!
We come here on occasion to eat before the theatre. Always like the food and this occasion was exceptional - brilliant risotto with asparagus and great pasta with slow cooked beef.
We like the wine carafe option, with a good choice.
The homemade pasta was outstanding!
Excellent artisan food. Although not much elbow room at the bar I enjoyed sitting there to watch the bar staff and chefs at work. Great for pre theatre, quick service. Very friendly staff.
This was a lovely place for dinner for a friends 40th. Lovely food and wine and a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Only negative was a charge of £5 per person when we brought our own small birthday cake which seemed excessive.
buzzy atmosphere makes for an exciting lunch venue with excellent consistently tasty food and very good wine list including many by the glass and 500cl.
Waiting staff were excellent. The location is perfect for theatre trips. Food was delicious. Loved the way the menu said which region each dish was from. A busy place but comfortable with a great ambience. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends. Only one quibble. I don't believe that the menu told you that you'd have to wait 40 minutes for the Spring Chicken. Lovely waitress told us and helped with other choices.
As always, unique flavours and tastes of regional Italian cuisine, with very attentive and friendly service. The suckling pig was particularly delicious.
Bocca Di Lupo is a really busy traditional Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho which my wife and I were trying for the first time. The menu choices are classic meals with a modern twist from various Italian regions and I strongly recommend the veal tartare and asparagus risotto. Wine options are very good and reasonably priced too. Finally the service in this small but noisily atmospheric restaurant is excellent
my favourite restaurant bar eating experience in London
Delicious and unusual food ideas alongside classics. Best part are the options for small portions so we had four courses each!
The kitchen bar is one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I've enjoyed in a long while. Perfect as a pre theatre restraunt with attentive and engaging staff serving some of the most wonderful food. The varied and ever changing seasonal menu is just a delight. I can not recommend Bocca Di Lipo enough.
