Bocca Di Lupo
We specialise in the obscure and the delicious highlights of food and wine from all across Italy's twenty regions. If we can make something ourselves, we do - gelati, breads, sausages, salame, pickles, mostarda, and pasta of course - the rest is carefully sourced from Italy. A selection of Italian wines and home-made and imported foods is available for delivery, along with our famous gelato, from Gelupo.
Monday - Saturday: 17:15-23:00
Our Remus Room is a warm and sumptuous setting for any party. It can accommodate twelve to thirty two persons seated, fifty standing, and is always served by its own chef in a dedicated, adjacent kitchen.View Private Dining Details
What Insiders Are Saying
If you want to know where to find the best Italian food in Soho is, it’s at Bocca di Lupo.
We ate late on Saturday night. Everything was outstanding: the food, the service, the ambience. What a fantastic place.
The best meal I've had for ages- why has it taken me so long to discover?
Another great meal at this lovely restaurant. Sat at the bar before theatre trip , every dish a delight. great friendly Italian service . thankyou
Really good place for the ambience and the food. The service was also excellent. True Italian with a difference!
Way too noisy. Impossible to talk with my family at the table. We left very quickly
Brilliant meal again on the chefs counter and so nice to see familiar faces in the kitchen after a year. We will return when we can.
We had a totally fanatstic lunch at Bocca di Luo. As usual service was impeccable - friendly, warm, knowledgeable, professional, attentive. We kicked off with perfect, punchy Negronis. The food was exceptional, in particular the agnolotti de plin which was a stuffed pasta in a sublime butter and cheese sauce. Always satisfying I would say this restaurant ranks with Barrafina as being among the top two in Soho.
Disappointed to be told that our reservation wpuld mean our having to sut at the chef's table, i.e. bar, but it turned out to be very entertaining despite the jostling from passing waiting staff and diners. Interesting menu, well cooked food and good wines. I can recommend the milk-free espresso gelato if you don't fancy or haven't got time for a full dessert. A little pricey for what you get but probably worth it at least once in a while.
Always excellent here.
The food was fresh and well prepared, interesting choices and a separate list to accommodate any food allergies which was extremely helpful.
Good food at good prices. Arrival experience is a little odd - there's no one to greet you at the door so you kind of have to make your own way into the restaurant which is a strange experience. Aside from that I would definitely recommend it.
Not accommodating. Horrible menu. Didn’t get what I ordered.
We love Bocca Di Lupo! Food is so delicious, amazing experience wherever you sit!
Fantastic tapas, great atmosphere. Look forward to our next visit
The food is outstanding. The staff are very friendly and nothing to fault. I would go back again and again.
I live in San Francisco and we have quite a few great Italian Restaurants BUT this place is my favorite Italian place in the world, whenever I come to London, I make a point to do dinner at this place, every dish on the menu is perfect. Great job!!!
Hadn't been to Bocca di Lupo and had forgotten how great this place is. Went on Sunday and had a table for 2. Atmosphere is great - a busy, bustling restaurant with the kitchen on display especially if you are sitting at the bar. Service was spot on and the food was really good. You can have small plates or large ones, so it's completely up to you. We had the squash risotto and the tuna salad to start off with - both very good. We then had the Fossil fish, definitely the star of the show and the partridge, which was also great. 500ml carafe of wine for £16. Thoroughly enjoyed it and wont leave it so long before returning.
Great food. Great service.
I went with my kids and the staff was great!
Very noisy place and table was too close to the next one, some of dishes on the menu not available, food was average
Great meal for a birthday celebration, sat at the bar and the food and atmosphere were amazing!
Wow! We just wanted a good meal and weren't prepared at all having such an exciting and delicious experience! Food was simply amazing, service as well. We sat at the bar counter, it was a little bit cramped but I think it added to the experience. The best dish was the "Roast pumpkin with sage, parmesan & balsamic", simply outstanding and goes well with any meat, or just by itself. I recommend having at least 3 small dishes per person but the more the merrier. Overall one of the best meals I've had as far as I can remember.
Superb, as usual.
Brought own white truffle which they wine paired very well.
We had an excellent dinner. The only thing we were disappointed with is that some things were not available to order and also after ordering 2 main pasta dishes, we were told just before the mains were served that the have run out and they could only serve us two small portions. Otherwise all was good.
Service very nice
Food average. Risotto completely overcooked. Not al dente at all.
Was not my tast but seems to have a lot of succes in London
Great for dinner with friends or date .
Greeted with a drink.
Loved everything about it and the next time I'm in London, I'll go again!
Outstanding. Authentic, creative, superb preparation and presentation. Thoughtful, informative service. Helpfully dealt with food allergies. Eagerly look forward to returning.
Had a family lunch on Saturday. Food was really good and staff were very friendly and kind. Definetely want to go back again!
We ate at the bar (the only option pre-theatre for two), but that gave us a front-row view of the theatre of the kitchen. Food arrives when it is ready, but tapas bars have taught us how to order. Everything is fresh and sometimes surprising. Italian with a twist.
Definitely waiting for an excuse to return.
Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere
Everything is good except that it would be even better if the food was not so salty in general.
Good but thought polpo for atmosphere was better. Oct 18
Never fails to leave one feeling loved. Every mouthful is divine.
Really enjoyable Saturday lunch - delicious food and great service.
Sat at the bar in front of the open kitchen watching the more amazing chefs prepare tasty plates of food. Once you see the chefs at work you appropriate their skill even more. The stuffed sage leaves with anchovy were a delicious little treat. The waitress was very knowledgeable and instructed us to order just the right amount of food. A great place for a date.
Great restaurant, been several times before and will be back soon
I have been dining at Bocca di Lupo for years and I have witnessed the quality of the restaurant food and serivce decline over time. My last meal at Bocca di Lupo was yesterday for lunch, I ordered the usual fried squid as a main and the food was unbearably salty, they offered to send a new portion but we were already towards the end of the meal and did not feel like having fried squid at that point.
they did not offer to refund for the dish left as too salty
