A great experience from the warm greeting on arrival through to the lovely food and great service. A very smart, friendly and professionally run establishment.
Lovely food... we went for the tasting menu with wine match. Meal was everything you'd expect from a Michelin star restaurant with the price tag to go with it. Maybe I've just been a little spoilt recently but I felt the service was a little lacking. The staff were friendly but not engaging... left feeling that the night could've been much better!
We went for an anniversary and had eaten well elsewhere at lunch. We were staying at the hotel and so booked here. The surprise menu we had included one lovely pork dish and a lovely fish one. The remainder were not only Michelin kind of odd but really odd!
Onion pannacotta (weird but tryable) followed by a cold tomato soup pannacotta... surprise/discovery menus are well understood and I often choose them to expand my tastes however there was little to like (except the presentation which was exceptional). Two pannacotta and a fois gras just didn’t cut it for me.
£200ish with one bottle of wine and a 20% service charge. In my opinion, a la carte is your best choice.
A fantastic lunch at Bohemia from start to finish. Excellent, as always.
been quite a few times to this restaurant, always very good, but on this occasion found it was disappointing. Main course of pigeon ,had no vegtables as such and although the sauce was very good it lacked substance.
Food excellent as always , staff once we were at the table were very good I never find they get it right when you first arrive not sure why but I find they need to be prompted if you have sat down for a drink or whilst you might be waiting for the rest of the party - perhaps out of sight out of mind
Nevertheless it's just the best food experience in the island
We all thought the meal excellent in every way. It was expensive by Jersey standards, but the high standards justified the expense.
The food was special rather than great. Staff didn't speak very good English which made it hard to know what we were eating. Nothing special was done for our anniversary which I mentioned when booking. After we had paid the bill, we were ignored.
We had the tasting menu with paired wines and they complemented each other perfectly. The sommelier made some excellent choices and clearly enhanced the food on more than one course.
Atmosphere was slightly let down by the acoustics of the adjacent bar area and the young children running wild therein.
We had a super lunch. Food excellent as always. Staff terrific, subtle, accommodating and knowledgeable about what had been served to the table, very important to me. Never rushed, all requests met without issue nor challenge or problem. Lovely staff.
Food good, well presented, hot, just as it should be. Seriously love their cheese board, stunning!
A perfect lunch, they won't let you down. If you are undecided, decide, this is the place to go, love it!!
We booked Bohemia on the strength of the Good Food Guide review and had one vegetarian and one pescatarian tasting menu. The food was just fantastic, in taste and plating. Each serving was something to admire and linger over. The sommelier was lovely to chat to, the venue stylish. Only complaint (and one shared with other diners we talked to) was the slow service. It was an hour after we arrived before our first plate arrived and there were long pauses between courses, meaning we filled ourselves with bread to stave off hunger pangs. The dinner took about three hours to finish. Other than that, we highly recommend a visit.
As ever the best lunch from the best kitchen on Jersey
Highest level quality and creativity paired.
Excellent staff serving drinks and meals.
The best restaurant on Jersey.
Heaven on earth!
Excellent meal best on the island well deserves its Michelin star will certainly eat here again
Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here . Everything was outstanding from the service , the food, the atmosphere and the wine pairings. Worth the few days in Jersey on its own . Thank you !
We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Bohemia to celebrate our joint birthdays while staying at the Club Hotel and Spa. We opted for the Surprise Tasting Menu and the food was out of this world and the service first class. Highly recommend!
A fantastic meal with impeccable service. The flavours were superb and together with an excellent wine menu made this an unforgettable birthday meal.
A little expensive but worth every single penny
First class restaurant
Michelin star type service and food quality. Recommend surprise tasting menu. Good wines by the glass.
OK it's not cheap but it's an experience your buying. We would go again. Staff friendly and attentive. Six courses and not overly full so don't expect to be stuffed to the gunwales.
Fantastic from start to finish. Exciting food and brilliant service!
Amazing dining experience! Staff very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was beautifully presented and tasted even better.
What a treat. We visit Bohemia a few times a year but this was our first experience of the Prestige menu. If you really want to treat yourself then this is the way to do it. It’s not cheap but Bohemia is not the place to go to if you want cheap food. This was excellent.
Outstanding! My second visit albeit this time for lunch rather than dinner. It was amazing, I was taken aback by the quality service and professionally served food that is usually reserved only for dinner service. The front of House team deserve much praise and of course the culinary team excel at every opportunity. By far my go to spot for perfection in my opinion, and as a local resident and hospitality professional it’s great to have this place so close. Thank you once again.
Amazing venue, amazing food & the service was brilliant! Loved every minute of it
The food is excellent!
Was not a good experience, food not exciting but expensive, tables too close, had to listen to a bore at the table beside us all night going on and on not what we wanted to listen to.
One of the worst dinning experiences we have had could not wait to leave.
Unbelievable food and service as usual A real treat, hurry up and give them another star!
absolute perfect meal , staff very attentive , would highly recommend the overall experience and in particular the tasting menu
Wasn’t impressed with the evening. I appreciate that we had a gift certificate for a taster menu for two, however it felt like we received poorer treatment than the other diners there that evening.
We were sat next to the doorway (which meant it was drafty with multiple people regularly passing behind my chair), and waited almost an hour until our first course arrived - I had to flag someone down just to ask for a glass of wine.
After enquiring about dietary requirements (my partner is lactose intolerant), we weren’t provided with a concrete response as to which dishes had dairy and which didn’t - effectively a shrug of the shoulders from one of the staff. This meant I had to run home to pick up additional medication for my partner whilst she waited there.
The staff informed my partner that because I’d left the table, we had “fallen down the serving priority, which meant we would be served after another party that arrived after we did”, and that service on our table had been suspended.
When I returned 10 minutes later, we almost had our first course taken away because we hadn’t received our bread yet - I had to almost barter with the waiting staff to leave our food there, as we were starving.
When the food did arrive, it wasn’t particularly to either of our tastes, however this could be attributed to subjectivity and that the events before had put a bit of a downer on the evening.
Finally, even though we’d shelled out £50 for wine (1 bottle and two additional glasses), we were stung with another £25 for service charge, seemingly added to our bill without our consent.
For a table of two people and this not to be left to our discretion, we left with a sour taste in our mouths - our evening of complimentary dining had still cost us an additional £80 and we still felt we hadn’t gotten our money’s worth.
We shan’t be returning to dine here again.
Amazing experience, lovely staff, very professional but also relaxed. Great for a treat.
Excellent food and service. A great way to spoil yourself.
Amazing food! Fabulous service from knowledgeable staff who also have great rapport with the customer! Maitre D was fantastic! Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable!!
This was our first experience of Bohemia. The portions were small, but delicious and filling. We also loved the chef’s appetisers, warm bread rolls in the bag, how the butter was presented and the chocolates with the coffee presented on coffee beans. All lovely touches. The staff were great, apart from one girl who served my partner cheese and who we both found very patronising when he was selecting cheeses (because he doesn’t like soft cheeses) and who on returning to collect our plates stared at his plate then him and tutted under her breath, we can only think because he hadn’t finished all the cheeses? The variety of plates and dishes used to serve each course were exquisite and we liked the way the sauces were poured on our food in front of us. We really enjoyed our lunch, along with a tasty bottle of Chablis, however our service rating would be higher if it wasn’t for this one girl as the rest of the staff were great.
This was our first visit to Bohemia, and it proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable occasion. The bar staff were very friendly (and knowledgeable). My wife has a nut allergy (incl coconut) and this proved to be absolutely no problem at all. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The quality and creativity of the cuisine was first class.
We will definitely be back again.
Ambience nothing special. Good food though super over-priced.
I am going to review this place based on the ONLY price menu options they had: £89, £79 and nothing below £69 per person excluding drinks.
We were early, so we were greeted to a bar-like establishment (not a problem with this), with loud music (problem) and really nothing special. We noticed there was a small restaurant to the right which is where we would sit down.
Clumsily I spilled a drink on myself and when I asked the waiter/bar tender for some tissue to clean myself up, he seemed SERIOUSLY more concerned that alcohol had been spilled over the table than my person.
We were then led to this really hot area (the restaurant) where we were presented with a number of little plates (or tasters as they called them). The food was actually interesting and some plates were very nice. The problem here was the 'enthusiasm' shown by the male staff. You could tell they were in no way 'there'. A few vacant smiles later we were finally ready to leave and I was debating whether we should leave the already added 10% tip. It was a hard choice, but I was already tired and could not take it on the good waitresses, so I decided to leave the tip.
Not sure I will ever go back to this establishment I am sad to say.
A lovely special occasion experience, Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere.
Not easy to find but well worth the effort. The venue is far better than the exterior would suggest. My wife and I opted for the lunch of the day which could only be described as outstanding, my fish dish was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few!
Excellent value with great service, I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone. We shall be back on our next visit to jersey
Very well presented food and fast service. Wonderfully designed interior with lovely lighting.
We had booked the surprise menu, but it was booked a while ago so didn't remember. On the evening I was given a menu that didn't include the surprise menu (maybe that's the suprise!), we had the tasting menu (at £30 more per head). The food was fab. Service great so no complaints, although I think the surprise menu looked better value (couple next to us had the surprise menu).
