Excellent service with a fabulous set lunch. It’s expensive, but still holding their Michelin star means they keep up their high standards. The staff were very attentive and the wine list is extensive.
Great dinner, tasting menu only being served at the moment. Excellent food, beautifully presented, superb service from friendly helpful staff. We chose the wine pairing which was good value, giving a different wine with each course. Well done guys we will be back soon.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The pool view terrace was lovely and unexpected. This hotel is spotlessly clean. Our meal was very good value and we didn’t feel rushed. I would definitely recommend this as a place to visit. A gem of a place

I have just moved to Jersey and knew I had to try Bohemia. I was not disappointed and will be bringing my parents here when they visit in the summer.
I had the vegetarian options which were delicious. We had the a la cartel menu but you also get other additions all if which were very nice and they took account of my food preference only complaint would be the cheese board was not worth the supplement

The food was outstanding. We tried the surprise tasting menu with wine pairing. The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the wines he had chosen. The service overall was very good.

VALUE: Why hand your customers all your menus on Valentine's when you only have the one menu on? Especially as the Valentine's Tasting menu is £95 for SIX courses and your normal Tasting Menu (displayed in the same menu) has virtually the same items but is £95 for SEVEN courses? Also, cheese supplement for Valentine's Tasting menu was £17 and normal supplement is £15. That didn't ruin our evening, but didn't sit well with us at the time. Unfortunately, this is the sort of impression customers take away with them afterwards.
FOOD: I've had exquisite and stunning tasting menus at Bohemia over the years. However, this one was a little unimaginative and missed the 'wow factor' for a Michelin Star. Quite average really.
We had a lovely evening and couldn’t fault the service. My only issue was the limited Menu. They have set menus, the people I went with were happy to have the tasting menu but as it contained meat I wouldn’t have, so wanted the vegetarian menu. But the waiter said whole table had to have the same menu. So we compromised on the classic menu which really wasn’t what anyone wanted. Although there were only 3 courses they kept bring out small plates and palette cleansers. There was no indication if they contained meat even though I told the waiter I didn’t eat meat. If you are going ask the restaurant if you can see the menus for that week. The ones on the website are bc different. No of our party will go back.
Yes for very good service and good food but not exciting food.
There was only one other table eating when we were there so this effected the ambience.
Well we chose to eat here on a Tuesday night so, as expected, the restaurant was very quiet. This isn't the always a bad thing as it does give you time to interact with the staff. We chose the Surprise menu and it was lovely. Across the menu there was only two things that were not to our liking (the sea weed butter and crab custard) the rest was well presented and well cooked. The staff were very professional, but relaxed, which took away any of the 'stuffiness' usually associated with a restaurant of this class.
Considering the price, this was a great value for money and a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Two of us dined here recently and both ordered the tasting menu, paired with wines for myself.
A Lanique royal rose cocktail to start tasted just like Turkish delight in a glass, nice, but very sweet - I guess to be expected from a rose petal spirit.
Following this we were served chef's snacks, morsels of deliciousness, a beetroot and goat's cheese dome, crumbed bbq pork in a smoke & hay filled cloche, and textures of Jerusalem artichocke - full of flavour, however, the way the waitress 'flung' our teaspoons onto the table wasn't so great, she didn't even place them straight - it felt a bit like being served in a café to be honest, and didn't bode well for the rest of the evening.
The food, I cannot fault it actually - it was all delicious, the highlights for me being the scallop, truffle and smoked eel dish - which was sweet and smoky, and the dessert of chocolate cremeaux and mango textures, the mango sponge was so light, it literally disintegrated in the mouth.
All the dishes in between were amazing too.
The waiting staff were friendly, and attentive, and served our meals with a brief description about the dish. In contrast the wine waiter was very uninterested and gave the impression that he could barely even be bothered telling us what the wine was - trying to find out why he had paired the wines with the dish was like pulling teeth - "because you are having lamb, and this is red, which is more full bodied" - OK - I could read that off the supermarket shelf - where's the value add in having a sommelier, in a one star restaurant - I would, and do expect so much more. Perhaps his lack of interest was related to the head chef leaving this month, but even so, the diners are still there for a Michelin experience, and what's going on behind the scenes should not affect the paying customers.
That said, the food held up the evening, and I would both recommend and return for that reason, but would certainly hope the level of service was improved.
Fantastic fine dining experience. Delicious food and friendly staff. Unfortunate issue with boat not delivering ingredients was fixed quickly and the chef was very accommodating. I look forward to returning!
Visually appealing and creative food. We had the tasting menu which was delightful. The staff were accommodating with altering the menu to work round a fish allergy. Very attentive and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food.
As usual the service and food were impeccable. This is good value for the Michelin star experience I believe. We had the surprise tasting menu with the wine pairing and everything was done to perfection.
Wonderful as always. I hope it continues to be so.
Delicious Saturday lunch with friends a mix of return visitors and newbies - we all loved our food and had a great time
We booked a special New Year’s Eve menu, for £149 per person. In light of the premium price charged (nearly double that of the standard tasting menu) we were expecting an exceptional evening. However, the overall service and experience was poor. We arrived and chose to have a drink before going to our table. We were left standing in the bar and it was over 30 minutes until one of the service staff acknowledged us and brought us a menu. No one offered to take my wife’s coat so she was left standing in her thick winter coat all that time. Nearly an hour after arriving we were finally showed to our seats and served the appetisers. The service team were grumpy, rushed, and barely explained the dishes to us. No warmth, friendliness or basic hospitality skills. The restaurant was busy and it was clear that the team were struggling to cope. Service was slow and overall very unwelcoming. We were left with breadcrumbs all over the table for the entire evening. Only when the desert arrived were they cleaned away, but which time our clothes were covered in the mess.
The food was also disappointing. Some dishes were cold, lacking flavour and not of the quality that we would expect for such a premium.
Rather than showing the restaurant at its best, it felt like a sub-standard effort for such a special evening. We felt disappointed.
