Since joining Bohemia in 2013 Steve has racked up an impressive list of accolades such as being named Catey Chef of the Year, being listed in The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants with special praise given for desserts 6th in the UK for restaurants to enjoy dessert in.
We think that dining in Bohemia is not just eating but a wonderfully exciting way to experience dining at its best. We hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you when time allows.
Fantastic range of options for lunch from several course tasting menu, to a single course. We chose the two course set meal and both loved what we chose. It was lovely to come away repleat but not stuffed.
It’s literally always amazing. Have the surprise tasting menu. There’ll be 2-3 things on it that you’d have never ordered but you’ll love them anyway. Can’t rate Bohemia highly enough. I’ve been ~10 times now and it’s never failed to deliver.
Our whole experience was fantastic. Great food, fabulous service in a beautiful restaurant.
Daniel and his staff are excellent, welcoming and knowledgeable. Service as ever was exceptional and of course, Steve and his team provided did not disappoint.
Christmas Eve set menu. The dishes were beautifully presented but I found that almost everything I ordered was fairly tasteless, not to mention VERY small. The wood-pidgeon the best part of the meal. The children’s menu was very disappointing - I wish that restaurants did not assume that children only like bolognese, burgers or fish & chips! I appreciate not having to pay full whack for the set menu for the children but something a little more inspiring or versions of the main menu would be more appropriate in this setting. The ambience was lovely, perfect lighting and coziness. The Sancerre was delicious. The staff were perfectly attentive though perhaps a little obsessive about re-folding our napkins continually! Overall I enjoyed the experience.
Another amazing meal. Great way to spend Christmas Eve!
We went for our anniversary, we have been before over a number of years. For a change we ordered the 6 course surprise menu at lunch. To start we had a cocktail each - these were tasty and cost around £11. One of us is pescatarian and I eat anything and we were asked by the maitre d' any requirements when we arrived. We were given a cheese croquette as an amuse bouche which was excellent. The next course was a mushroom tortellini on black garlic with a butternut squash veloutte, again this was superb. This was followed by a mixed heritage beetroot salad, amazing and then a bream and oyster tartare with a cucumber and horseradish veloutte, brilliant! Then we had a bass fillet with scallops followed by a beetroot and yogurt pre dessert and then "textures of apple and blackberry". This final dessert was the pick of the bunch and packed a real surprise. Service is excellent, attentive whilst remaining unobtrusive. The restaurant has enough noise and ambience to allow comfortable chat whilst also not being noisy. Couldn't recommend too highly.
We had an excellent meal and were treated like royalty. All of the staff were great.
Exquisite presentation on the plate and flavours on the palate with impeccable delivery from friendly staff.
An unforgettable experience in fine dining, excellent food with attentive service & great atmosphere for intimate dinner
Food was as good as ever and service was polite but attentive. Expensive (over £300 for 2 of us drinking wine by the glass) but that is only to be expected at a Michelin starred venue.
Fabulous menu with out of this world flavours
Definitely on my list of all time favourite menus
Well presented great tasting food. Quick and professional service
The relaxed atmosphere of this modern looking restaurant leaves space for private conversations thanks to the spacing of the tables. A good place to catch up with old friends or discuss business.
The food was great with a starter of sea bream and oyster tartar with apple and horseradish, which was absolutely amazing, with different textures and tastes marrying into a refreshing tasting experience. That was followed by a very hearty and warming beef cheek (that one could cut with their fork if they so wished). I would have had the purée slightly thicker, but it is my personal taste.
The wine list is extensive.
The service was friendly and discreet. Impeccable.
We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Absolutely stunning food
Amazing food with great imagination. Presentation is excellent. While you cannot fault the service as it is exceptional, I did feel that at times it was perhaps a little too much. There seems to be a different waiter for every item delivered to the table so when you are trying to have a conversation, there seemed to be constant interruptions every few minutes. A full description of everything was given, from how the butter was made to where the water was sourced. This is not a criticism as such but I just felt that perhaps if more than one thing was brought to the table, then there wouldn’t be the need for so many interruptions. We had an amazing evening as always at Bohemia and would always recommend it. On this occasion I have rated the noise level as energetic as there was a lot of noise coming from the table behind us . Quite why people feel the need to shout at each other is beyond me. Thankfully, once their food arrived they quietened down otherwise I would have complained.
Amaizing food amaizing staff everything was amaizing
Wonderful restaurant. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent food - beautiful presentation and amazing flavours. Definitely worth a visit, if you’re seeking some of the best food ever!
As soon as I walked in I noticed the Dining room was beautiful with a very chilled ambience and the bar had perfectly poslihed copper cocktail shakers. I loved the attention to detail at Bohemia it was all well thought out and impeccably executed. Our meals were Absolutley stunning , food was faultless and had real finesse. Favourite dish was the squash and Parmesan veloute , quails egg in mushroom powder and mushroom ice cream very clever dish and was so packed with flavour from every element. the service was slick casual and very warm . It Was my birthday weekend trip to jersey and it was my First time at Bohemia. I had heard about this place a good few times due to being in the industry. Basically very well done to front and back of house team, Bohemia is exactly what a Michelin stared restaurant should be and a fine example to anyone who is yet to have experienced food and service at this level. By the way it didn’t break the bank Either 60 quid for 6 course surprise tasting menu -but it’s ore like 8 as there is a canapé and a bread course ! Laughing !
Not sure what to expect i was pleasantly surprised. My allergy was taken care of in advance and each course delivered accordingly. The food was excellent and attention of the staff was good.
Not a cheap visit but worth the experience
Tried the surprise tasting menu and was a little disappointed with a couple of courses. Nothing memorable about the meal. Will go again but choose a different menu.
We had a wonderful time and experience with the Surprise Tasting menu, which is a great value for a mid week celebration.
Excellent fine dining. Attentive waiters and maitre d. Worth it’s Michelin star.
The most amazing meal - Surprise Menu. Every course was sensational. The service was excellent and our evening was made to feel special.
Excellent Tasting Menu with wine, food was fabulous.
Un service au top, des plats aussi beaux que bons...
J’y suis venue avec mon chéri, je recommande ce restaurant et c’est décidé, j’y retournerai si je reviens à Jersey.
Menu consists of 3 tasting menus which contain some very unusual dishes which don’t appeal to all tastes. As a result we plumped for the Classic menu. Food was delicious and ‘bonus’ dishes between courses were also great. Service was impeccable. My wife did have to ask for her lamb to be cooked a little more as it seemed to be only cooked on one side.
Only 4 stars as it was very expensive.
Service initially was really slow waiting almost an hour for our first dish. However it soon picked up. Amazing food but service let down the overall experience.
This is one of the best Michelin Starred restaurants I have been in . Have been in quite a few in The U.K and the Bohemia in Jersey is at the top. Thouroughly enjoyed the whole experience . The food was sublime and the front of house were excellent. Could easily be a 🌟🌟rating.
3rd visit, first time lunch, great experience see you next year Bohemia. Thank you
We had a lovely meal at Bohemia to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food, wine and service were outstanding - certainly a dining experience we will remember forever.
Lovely restaurant with fantastic food , would love to return sometime
We went for the six-course 'surprise' taster menu, which was absolutely superb: inventive, creative, local. We chose a few glasses of wine to match, with the helpful sommelier checking with the chef what would complement the food without spoiling the surprise for us. Bohemia deserves its reputation as one of the best restaurants in the British Islands.
Treated my niece and her face just lit up. I would describe the cuisine as high end with a riot of flavours with an infusion of creativity, delivered as if you were royalty. You have a card on your table to guide you through the dishes, and everything is explained as you receive your dish. Michelin star is well deserved.
Portions are small. but over 7 courses very satisfying. Cannot recommend more. outstanding and exceeded expectations.
Some tables are under cold white light. Not worth the value. 20% service fee added to the bill. Will not recommend to friends.
We have stayed at the hotel once or twice a year for the last few years. We especially look forward to a meal in Bohemia whilst here and the two tasting menus 3 hour lunch this year was no exception - superb and 3 hours I will not ask for back when my time comes ! The menu teases with descriptions but the flavours delivered surprise and delight with great wow moments in the presentation. Helped along by friendly but professional staff who also manage to deliver a really enjoyable relaxed dining experience unlike some eatablishmentsthat are nowhere near as good as this. Great for special occasions but some good value menus also - until next time !
Sublime food beautifully cooked and the service to match. Yes it was expensive but it was a treat. Glorious wine list. Beautiful setting. Worthwhile for a special evening.
A wonderful experience. Ten courses spread over four and a quarter hours. Time well spent.
The food at Bohemia is innovative, creative and above all delicious. The staff are warm and friendly and the service is outstanding. Altogether a great dining experience and a restaurant I'd happily go back to.
We had the most amazing lunch, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We both found the whole experience a joy and wish we could do it every weekend.
