The food was over price, portion sizes were a mouthful really. Most of the menu was all mushrooms with fish. There was one beef dish called “sirloin” it was two bites, very nice but not enough. Was my birthday so they did a treat at the end which actually was very good. Some of the service was very good but one or two were very rude and stuck up. All in all, £300 for a meal for two when most of the food was overly complicated and mushroom or fish based. Wouldn’t return at those prices and feel that the menu should cater for all types not just those who like mushrooms and posh vegetables with some random fish thrown in. I love fish but mullet was particularly nice and braised octopus was as hard as rubber. Would rather have had scallops, red snapper, sole or any other fish.

Stunning food, clearly a chef who truly understands his ingredients and creates memorable combinations. Chilled atmosphere, relaxed and unpretentious. Lovely service from a knowledgeable team of staff. Highly recommended.

Ruined Our Wedding Anniversary
20 years wedding anniversary ruined by unprofessional, rude, unhelpful restaurant manager and staff !!! We booked on line on their website, it leads you to Open Table booking system. The booking was for the michelin star restaurant and we added a note asking to be seated in the terrace weather permitting. We received the email confirmation and several reminders all of them confirming our booking at the Bohemian restaurant!!! Well, once there we were confronted by 3 people that firstly couldn't find our booking and then by the restaurant manager (in lower case as it reflects how low the man was) who told us "you booked the terrace, its raining today, so we'll seat you in the bar area. He did not attempt to seat us inside. Once in the bar area we were given a bar food menu printed on an A4 sheet. It wasn't the michelin restaurant menu, it literally was a pub menu including fish and chips!!! Seriously??? the seating was uncomfortable, no table cloth, nothing on it, a sad corner in a bar. We called the restaurant manager again and tried to express our disappointment, to our surprise he was rude, confrontational, didn't listen to our reasons and continued to make us feel being in the wrong. That was supposed to be the gem of our holiday in Jersey before departure, he managed to ruin it because of his unprofessional rude manners.

The service was fairly rushed and not very friendly. Usually get much better service in a Michelin Star restaurant. One waiter holding a tray yawned while another waiter placed the food! Got the impression the waiters couldn't wait to get home !!

We booked this for our anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. We had the tasting menu which was amazing and presented wonderfully. The staff were also fantastic-so friendly and attentive which made the experience even better. Our sommelier made some great recommendations on wine and when we couldn’t finish our second bottle, it was packaged up for us to take home which I’ve never experienced before.
I would recommend this place for special occasions as it’s not cheap but every penny spent was worth it!
