Felt the food lacked taste, under spiced and seasoned. It was well cooked and presented
3rd time at this excellent tapas place, can't wait for 4th visit !
Quite apart from the food - which is reliably delicious - the staff are lovely. Really friendly and helpful and jolly - icing on the cake!
Great tapas, authentic and modern. Beautiful restaurant too! Get the aubergine with honey.
The best tapas I’ve had outside of Spain!
V poor service. Had to ask chase drinks. Staff forgot items we had ordered. Generally a very poor experience
It was a great meal and the wine was amazing. The only slight negative was it was a little chilly where we were sat in the basement but apart from that we had a lovely evening and will come back soon!
Boqueria is my local 'go to' restaurant because, without fail, the food is always absolutely delicious. The tastes are fresh and authentic and I would highly recommend that you call by if you are in the area.
Always good and this time was no exception. A great selection on the main menu and we had a couple of the 'specials' that were really tasty. The service was spot-on.
Fabulous food, staff always warm, welcoming and helpful. Atmosphere always buzzy but not too noisy. Love it!
Delicious food - as always - with some excellent daily specials as well as the main menu. My only complaint was that when we ordered a second round of dishes - because the first was so yummy - there was a misunderstanding with one dish, and then even the replacement was the wrong dish (but we didn’t have the heart to tell them it was wrong again so we ate what we were given instead of what we had ordered).
I went for lunch with friends. Good food and nice atmosphere. Paella was delicious!
Amazing food and really nice venue. Was way bigger than I thought it would be
I've eaten here many times, but it's never been as bad as it is today.
Everything is salty and squid doesn't taste.
Fried food and fake taste..
2 hours after meal but still thirsty.
This restaurant was with only a good atmosphere.
It's 6 months since we were last here. We had an excellent evening. We had deliberately chosen a Monday evening because one member of the party is pretty deaf (me) and we thought it would be quieter. Actually there were fewer people in the restaurant than last time but the noise level was difficult for me. We loved the variety of food, the wine was excellent and the service was outstanding. There's a lot of competition to be the best tapas restaurant in London and none of us knows of a better one than Boqueria. Thanks to all
Food was amazing and I would highly recommend the duck salad
Amazing food. But very loud, struggled to hear across the table
Good food for pretty reasonable price, but let down by the service and excessive noise in the restaurant - too many tables jammed in.
Food seemed not as good as usual, although cannot put our finger on why. Service seemed a bit rushed, which was a surprise as there weren't many people there when we arrived. Still a great place to eat and sure this was a one-off.
Love Boqueria. Patatas Bravas arrived 10 mins after we’d finished everything else ordered.
Good food - some excellent, good value. Nice staff
This is a favourite restaurant of ours - a place for celebration and for that moment when you just need someone to look after you. The food is excellent - from reliable stalwarts like the pulpo a la Gallega to the new items that appear on the specials board and, sometimes, delightfully make their way onto the main menu (the confit de cordero being my favourite example, although the roasted artichokes will, I hope, go the same way). Desserts are hard to choose from, but my most recent outing was "Spain's most famous cheesecake" - I don't know if it is, but it truly deserves to be (and I am a cheesecake afficionado).
Wine list is principally Spanish, well chosen, and nicely priced.
You may have picked up I love this place - perhaps worth noting that so does anyone I know who has visited, whether on their own initiative or dragged there by us.
This was our 3rd visit, the first two times were perfect however this time left us dissapointed purely due to customer service. The waitress (young girl with glasses) was moody, no warmth or smile whatsoever and gave my partner a filthy look for asking for a latte, for what reason I do not know. She really looked like she did not want to be there and as though we were a burden to serve. For this reason we shall unfortunately not be visiting again. Such a shame as the food is lovely but waitress spoilt it for us. Date of visit was new years day as well.
Excellent. Very authentic.
It was very busy the night we were in but food came quickly. It's tasty adn good value. Favourite was the tuna tartar and Iberian sirloin with goats cheese sauce. The staff are lovely. They were so busy but really pleasant.
An excellent choice of dishes. The steak was perfect. Service always excellent.
LOVE this place, been eating here since it opened and it never disappoints. One small gripe; too much throwing of bottles into the bins at the bar. Prefer to eat at the counter but it’s jarring with bottles crashing into the bins.
Really civilised and still relaxed. Warm discreet staff and tasty food.
Really good food at a reasonable price. Particularly love the suckling pig. Lovely ambiance, though it does get a bit loud
Fabulous food, delightful waiting staff, friendly ambience, but oh, the noise! Partly (mainly?) to do with the low ceiling, which must have affected the acoustics, partly because it was Saturday night, but it would be the most perfect place if that could be remedied.
I love this restaurant - it's always so lively, full of such a range of people from young families, to groups celebrating birthdays to couples having dinner. The food is ALWAYS outstanding, just the best and such good value. Great place and a firm favourite for us.
The service was fantastic. Unfortunately there was a large table next to us which made it difficult to hear my friend.
Nice true Spanish restaurant, helps when we miss home. Not Spanish prices though, but fair enough for the London standard.
I fell in love with Boqueria, food , service everything was perfect. If you has had the opportunity to be in Spain this place will make you feel like your are there. I highly recommended Boqueria to everyone that
like Spanish food ♡♡♡♡♡
Great atmosphere, lovely staff and AMAZING food - order the suckling pig with lemon sorbet it's a must have!
Amazing food and atmosphere- can’t wait to go again
Lovely food! Nice atmosphere
Great meal, amazing food, courteous staff even when very busy and with a little one.
Fantastic food and service was good but always room for improvement. Very loud inside but nice interior
Loved the leche frita, different from what I've tried before, and delicious.
Great quality, true to Spanish cuisine.
