Situated in the center of Farnham in Surrey, Borelli’s is a contemporary wine bar and grill set in the historic Borelli Yard, one of the best locations in Farnham. The olive green and white walls, polished wood and tiled floors create a warm and welcoming space at night, while the big windows let in plenty of sunlight during the day. Dining al fresco during the warmer weather in the spacious courtyard is very popular. Borelli's lunch menu offers a wide selection of wraps, baguettes, jacket potatoes and a range of heartier dishes. The main menu offers seriously good chargrilled range of beef and chicken dishes, salads and starters. There are two bars, the wine bar offers a vibrant atmosphere, the first floor bar being more relaxed and suited to dining. The friendly service and comprehensive wine list, with many wines available by the glass, make Borelli’s a local gem you’ll undoubtedly visit more than once.

Service was unprofessional, the waitress served a hot plate using the cuffs of her jumper. The food wasnt great either, had nachos to start which were bland and soggy, then had the chargilled chicken which tasted more like it had been thrown into a fire, burnt to a crisp and dry. All in all this was a very expensive meal for the qaulity of food. Felt very disapointed as i had heard good things about the restaurant.

We sat downstairs in the bar area as it was pre theatre early dinner and the restaurant upstairs was still empty. Bar downstairs was lively, food was good and service friendly and efficient.

A very relaxed dining area and a warm welcome. Our meal was excellent, unusual starter which the chef had only recently invented and was very good indeed. The rest of the meal was nicely cooked and piping hot.

We arrived and I immediately I had to cancel our booking for a table for 5, as our numbers had dropped and plans changed. Nevertheless the bar staff were polite and helpful in this. We sat in the bar area for approximately 2 hours and enjoyed a lively atmosphere and some tasty bar snacks provided free to the customers. Live music was provided in the patio area. Easy to access this venue from the car park.

I came here for some food with a group of friends and it was possibly one of the worst experiences/meals we have ever had. There restaurant was empty and somehow it took over an hour for our mains to arrive after our starters had. After that things went downhill with all the mains being either under-cooked or over-cooked. A brief overview - the halloumi burger was cooked to death, the poor thing was pretty much cardboard and completely inedible, the steak was requested medium rare and when it arrived it was blue inside - also completely inedible. The staff were unfriendly and we had to request the manager come and talk to us so that we could raise our issues. When we questioned the bill he was reluctant to give us any concessions and we had to argue our case for 10 minutes before flat out refusing to pay for the awful dishes - they were lucky we were agreed to pay for the ones they did manage to get right. To summarise the experience was pretty awful, the food was awful, the service was awful and no one in their right mind should think this is a decent place to grab food.

Excellent diverse menu to suit all preferences, served in a simple and appetising way. Very good portion size served by interested and engaging staff. Thoroughly recommend to anyone as it appeals to those wanting to share a bottle of wine and a few snacks or, like us, a full blown 3 course meal with drinks for a family birthday

Great service, with really good food.
Should come with a warning about the portion size, both our starters and main course were huge. But still really good quality.

The jacket potato with prawns wasn't anything special. The potato was dry and seemed as though it had been reheated. The prawns were like shrimps with a mixture of sliced spring onions, together with black pepper or something similar.

I've had better at Borelli's.

We spent a relaxing very enjoyable evening at Borelli's. The food was excellent with plenty of choice. The service was outstanding. The Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Borelli's is an ideal place to have a cosy intimate dinner for two or a meal with friends or a party as a group. The Restaurant was warm and very clean. We will definitely visit again.

It was a disappointing meal. Despite being relatively empty when we arrived there was a comment made about our 7.30 booking (we had booked and received confirmation for 7pm). The food was mediocre at best, the worst being a beef and ale pie that looked extremely dry and the requested extra gravy took an age to arrive. The cajun chicken was also dry and unappetising. A shame as we had dined here twice previously and each time the food was fantastic. Sadly we wont be returning.

I discovered Borelli's originally on a works evening out a year ago and have been a regular customer ever since. I work close to Farnham town and Borelli's is a great bar/restaurant for lunch, dinner or just drinks in the evening. My colleagues and I regularly have lunch at Borellis and the food is always great and the staff friendly and accommodating.

We had a really great meal here for my Mum's birthday. The staff were lovely and happily served a cake we had brought. The food was delicious and fantastic value as always, and they were great at checking allergens and ensuring my meal was gluten free, as I'm coeliac. Would definitely recommend to others and will certainly be returning!

A most disapointing experience, service by manager was poor, no real apology no checking to see if the new pies were ok, the third meal sea bass was covered in oil and the fish overcooked. Will not return, although we have eaten there before on many occasions.

Further to taking about 20 minutes before welcoming us and taking us to our table, we made our selection of starter and main. Following this the main was served with the apologies that our starters had been forgotten. Kindly the option was given to have the starter with our main which we agreed to, but our starter arrived about 10 minutes after we finished our main. This should have probably been a warning sign as when we later waiting for either our plate to be taken or the offer to have dessert the noise volume and mess of the waitresses got worst. It took about 15 mins to order a desert and another 25 to actually have it. The food might have been delicious but the service was appalling and very deceiving after spending over £30pp for a diner.

I went here with my two teenage daughters for a father's day lunch.

As the weather was lovely, we sat outside in the very pleasant courtyard.

To be honest the food was much better than I expected! We had nachos for starters, followed by rib-eye steak and chicken kebabs. I couldn't find any fault with the food, and my steak was cooked to perfection.

My only disappointment was that the wine was nothing to write home about.

I will definitely eat here again.

We booked a table for 7:30pm on a Friday night, it was buzzing in the bar on arrival but the restaurant upstairs was dead. We were the first to sit and had the place to ourselves, we didn't mind but towards the end of the meal as,more people started to arrive it definitely lifted the atmosphere. The food was great, the steaks cooked to perfection and really tasty. The service was spot on and we would definitely go back again.

Not a great first experience and probably would visit for a simple lunch again but not a special occasion or large group.

I went there with my daughter for a catch up and light lunch - the sweet potato wedges were fab and her prawn and crayfish baguette was lovely but my jacket potato was swimming with butter and was still hard which was a shame, it could have been because it was lovely and big - but I would try again

Went for evening meal with friends, no one else in restaurant but people sitting outside , so no atmosphere. Once our meal and wine arrived, we never saw the waitress again except to remove our plates . We were not offered desert or coffee or any other drinks . Staff stood around talking to each other. We had to go and ask for the bill, but no one came to take the money , so after 15 minutes we put it on the table and left. Don't think anyone noticed us leave, lucky that we're honest as we could have gone without paying. Would not go there again.

I booked Borellis for a Hen party dinner for 10 people. When we arrived we were welcomed and taken upstairs where I was able to decorate the table and make a bit of mess as it was a Hen do! Food was well timed and very nice. Fully recommend! Great service and attentive :) For the evening we did leave but ended up coming back and thank god we did! We had an amazing evening with lots of fun!

We booked a table for my husband and I, we rarely get to go out so was looking forward to it. We arrived and they were very prompt with drinks and taking our order, but as soon as out meal arrived we were totally ignored by the waiters. They didn't return to offer more drinks, or a dessert menu, we sat with our empty plates in front of us for half an hour!!! Totally Unexceptable. We had to then approach them at the bar to get our bill. I didn't tip as they didn't deserve it. Having two young collage boys working that evening is a bad way of running a resturant.
Sorry borellis but we won't be returning I think I'd die of dehydration!!!
