Situated in the leafy shades of Southwark Cathedral and neighboring Borough market, Boro Bistro proposes a nice bistro French food with large wine list, tasty Belgium beers, great range of platters of French cheeses and charcuterie to share with friends and family. The concept is like a Tapas restaurant you can choose from different tiny plates and jars so you can try various taste.
Come and enjoy our cosy garden like terrace for a relaxed moment.
Boro Bistro offers a vintage design with its sofas and romantic candles lights giving a relaxed and easy going ambiance.

Delicious food and great service. This place is a gem. Love that you can order small plates or do the traditional three courses. Would totally recommend. Four of us in the party and not one complaint. Excellent value for money too.
Great venue, fabulous staff and the food delicious.
We loved this restaurant 4 friends meeting up sharing food and a couple of bottles of wine excellent. We will definitely return wen we are next down in the big smoke Sharon
Good mor place. Service was slow, staff had to be pushed.
Great venue. Great food and super service. Loved the surprise of having birthday banner!
Fantastic quirky venue smack bang in middle of borough market. Staff are always very friendly and chatty. Food is lovely. Great place for a girlie catch up and a glass of wine or two!
I used to love this place and reccomend it to all of my friends. Unfortunately it appears that quality has gone out of the window, particularly in terms of the food. All very samey and bland. Also it feels like a lot of the unique quirks have been squashed. Such a shame, but would only reccomend for a quick drink and some cheese in the future.
The staff are wonderful. Especially the chap who we spoke with on the phone and who met at the front. Very unpretentious, but chic french vibe. Great music and ambience. A great spot to meet with friends for some good wine and nice french tapas. The only slight let down - some of the dishes lacked flavour. But the crab cakes were great. As was the tartelette.
Nice place with character and good food
Everything about this cute little place was perfect. The only thing I would say is that the food was a little slow to come out. I think it was about 45mins until we got food but we did have a cocktail etc.. beforehand and were very conscious of time due to other commitments. I'd definitely return
Love this place! Really good for catching up with friends and great outside area for a few drinks
restaurant was a bit difficult to find, but enjoyed the decor. Although we had to wait a while, the food was excellent. Would recommend to friends.
Great vibe but no gluten free or lactose free options.
It was something different from your typical chain restaurant. I love the small sharing plates as we were able to share and try different things. Definitely somewhere I would go again.
The price was slightly more than we would typically spend on a meal for two but it was enjoyable and I wouldn't actually change it!
Thank you for an awesome meal and time!
(also the chocolate fondue is worth the "20" minute wait!)
Really enjoyed my meal
Great food and lovely wine
Really enjoyed the outside area too under the heat lamps
This place was a hidden gem. Food was delicious, so were the cocktails. Wide expansive menu. Waitress was lovely and we can't wait to return to try their charcuterie and cheeseboard.
Great venue right on London bridge, can site outside but no traffic noise due to its position. The staff were great with suggestions and the ambiance was great.
Great ambiance, friendly staff, cosy decor, yummy food.
Cocktails could be slightly improved.
Overall we had a very enjoyable evening, thanks!
Such a lovely meal at a wonderful venue. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Nini in particular was lovely.
Will definitely come again
Excellent value and location. Wine just needs better chilling.
The staff are wonderful and food is amazing!
This place is a little hidden gem - perfect for a get together with friends. Staff are super friendly and helpful, there is a delicious and unique menu with some really lovely wines at reasonable value for London. Both inside & outside have a nice inviting & relaxing vibe, recommend booking for an outside table as it does get busy. All round great night was had and we will definitely be coming back again.
I love this place, great food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Eaten here many times and never been disappointed
We ordered tapas dishes and tapenade to start. The tapenade didn’t come but we got bread (no explanation) and the tapas took almost an hour to come. They brought it all out at once, which explains why it took so long but it’s a weird way to serve tapas. The food was good, some of the vegetarian plates were fridge cold which was strange as it was cooked asparagus and broccoli, and roasted cauliflower but cold.
Nice place full of character and with an interest menu of tapas. Food delicious. Service was a tad slow and the music rather overloud but minor points- altogether an enjoyable experience.
We enjoyed the Bistro. The staff were excellent and the food was to. But does it really have to cost that much?!
A great meal for a friend's birthday. The food is excellent and brilliant for sharing. Our desserts were slow to arrive but the staff were very good about it. It is very noisy and cocktails are a little overpriced but that's to be expected for this location I think. I'd definitely go back.
Delicious French tapas, great ambiance and even with the DJ playing the music wasn't intrusive and lent to the atmosphere. Lots of choice for the vegetarians in our group. Highly recommended
Really nice place- lots of outdoor seating & a cosy indoor restaurant. Very charming, friendly staff. Wide variety of 'small plates', plus burgers. decent veggie selection and good wines, although they'd run out of the one we wanted. Only problem was that people were constantly going in & out so the door was always open and it was a bit cold, so sit well away from the door.
Superb Hake . Beer ridiculously expensive. Fabulous ambiance.
Loved the atmosphere of the place. Friendly staff and delicious food! Would definitely recommend!
Fabulous and authentic French experience. Food was excellent and reasonable value. Ambience and drinks menu complemented the whole experience perfectly.
If you are looking for a little bit of France in London this is the place to go!
I always love this place it’s my favourite place to chill with friends with amazing food and wine
Fabulous little find - and finding it did take us a minute or two! Wonderful concept well-executed.
Amazing like every time.
Fantastic food and lots of choice for vegetarians. Had a lovely evening sat outside. It was almost like being on holiday. The heaters were an added bonus. We will be back. Thank you.
great place to hang out with friends, lovely outside space for warm evenings
Always such a lovely experience at Boro Bistro, great food, wine and service. Thank you!
Really nice food, really great outside area when the weather permits. The staff are really friendly and attentive - will definitely be back.
This is a lovely dinner setting for somewhere in London, especially the terrace during mid spring and summer. Unfortunately the inside restaurant just didn’t cut it for us. Service was mediocre and very slow and we had to send several dishes back because they were cold. I’d recommend the restaurant for the terrace and a board of cheese meats and bottle of wine. But skip ordering anything else!
