Very pleasant business lunch spot with good service, excellent wine selection and convenient location.
My first time at the restaurant and I was not disappointed. The food was exquisite and nicely presented. The service was superior, which honestly can make or break a restaurant.
I asked for a quiet table for a business meeting and they placed us in a perfect spot. I was impressed with the next day follow up call to check on my experience. This is an operation that cares about the product they put out.
If you are looking for an upscale dining experience this is the place. I'll surely return next time I am in Toronto.
Service was very good. Staff was very attentive. Food was quite bland. Very under-seasoned. Presentation n of food was ordinary. Atmosphere seemed rather dark and dreary.
The table we sat was too dark. We could barely read the menu. We read many good reviews about the restaurant but we were disappointed. Very limited menu and the food was mediocre at best. The service was very good.
I'm am super happy with my experience at Bosk.
It was for my fiance's birthday and the hostess immediately recognized the romantic evening and got us a secluded section to sit in and enjoy ourselves away from others. This type of service and intuition is what makes Bosk's experience outstanding.
I will definitely be back again.
It was a lovely evening and our server (forgot his name) was great! He took care of everything we requested and made sure our evening was seamless.
Oh this place was such a disappointment. Their food wasn’t cooked improperly per se it just wasn’t good. The salmon was cooked medium / medium rare which is ‘all right’ but the food that accompanied it was mushy/ lacked texture to compensate for the overall lack of texture of the meal. Salt was not offered but it would not have helped this lack luster meal. A meal is more than what sounds fancy ... it also has to Taste good. And I think the butter for the bread was rancid. It was a composed butter but it didn’t taste good so why bother. Not worth the money or the time. So dissatisfied.

When we booked for brunch on Sunday no one said there was no brunch but only lunch...the menu online also indicated brunch, very disappointed, we travelled an hour and would not have done so.
The Arctic char is the best on the menu. The brown butter makes it so rich and delicious. Second time around and still perfect!

I took my wife to Bosk for her birthday and from the moment we sat down, everyone was attentive and helpful. Sydney (not from Australia!) was incredibly helpful and explained everything in detail. Our meal was fantastic, in fact, it was the best meal we've ever had. We even met the sous chef. John Ross. Very humble and kind. The deserts were amazing. All in all it was an incredible evening and my wife's best birthday meal. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The halibut is the best I’ve had. Fabulous. I checked noisy only because we ate on the front of the patio to take advantage of a lovely summer evening. There is traffic noise but it is not distracting. The service is fabulous. One of my favourites in town

Everything great, just more expensive than it used to be. It is like TIFF pricing kicked in last summer and never got adjusted back.
Food is completely unexceptional. The desserts are particularly bad- the Black Forest cake does not resemble a Black Forest cake. I won’t go back.
Was there for our Anniversary. Our waiter, Sydney, was great. Attentive and knowledgeable. The food was tasty and well-cooked. The complimentary mocktail was a nice touch given our special occasion. All in all a great time. Would definitely recommend

The meal was lovey. Sat outside so a little traffic noise but not a deterrent. There are patio heaters and lovely blankets to keep away the chill. The crime brûlée is outstanding. Very nice

Celebrating our daughter’s graduation from medical school. It was the perfect place for this very special occasion. The food was delicious; service was superb, and the ambiance was wonderful.
Comparing with other high end restaurants like cafe boulud at four seasons hotel, Price is too high and portion is very small. Food is quite plain.
I was irritated by the one waiter who supposed to serve, but glad and was delighted to have others who came to my rescue for they recognized me as a frequent dinner there. The one inexperienced ( a Caucasian guy) must be new there and didn’t know how to relate properly to a customer. He ruined my joy last night to dine with my guest.
Had another great lunch at the Bosk bar. The drinks menu is extensive and bar staff excellent. The shortened menu for food in the bar includes many plates that are ideal for sharing.
Top tip - if you are a member of the Shangri-La Golden Circle points program, you can get about C$130 of value for trading in 1,000 GC points. By far the best way to use those points in my opinion!

BOSK has great menu featuring locally-sourced ingredients. The service is impeccable without being intrusive. Comfortable space for small groups and families. Good for pre-theatre or a celebration. Wine list ranges from good values to rare finds.
Food choices are limited. Lobster apy was good. Venison was rare and too smoky. Not good. Loud bar not good. Certainly not fine dining. Will not return

The space is lovely but acoustically it is very difficult to have a conversation ~ The loud music and hard surfaces contributed to this. The food was delicious!
