Bouchon at The Venetian
Foie Gras Sauté
seared foie gras du jour
pan-seared flat iron steak, caramelized shallots & maître d'hôtel butter, served with French fries
grilled eye of the rib & sauce Béarnaise, served with French fries
I requested for a quiet table with a view to celebrate my birthday. But we were seated at the corner booth next to the service station with a view to the swinging door to the kitchen. The expectation was to be seated next to the window with a view to the garden (which I have in previous dining experience). The booth seat cushion was stained and dirty and I did not feel comfortable sitting on the seat. While the service was good and the food arrived quickly, my scallops was salty and Luke warm. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2008 but I don’t think I will be returning to this location again.
We were expecting more from a Thomas Keller restaurant.
The lamb was awful.
We went here last night, & were a little disappointed.
AMBIANCE: First, it was freezing in the restaurant. I had to keep my winter coat on the entire meal, & my friend said she was freezing & wanted to wear her coat too but was worried about getting food on her white jacket. Second, the restaurant was way too dim, & the menu is written on paper thin brown paper w/ black font, so I had to literally get my phone’s flash light out to read the menu. They should at least use a white paper for the menu if they are going to keep the restaurant that dim, so you can have some contrast to read the menu. Third, it was pretty noisy inside.
FOOD: We got several glasses of champagne, which was good, & the following items:
Complimentary Bread, Butter, & Toasted Pistachios - Bread, Butter, & Pistachios are always great. It’s nice that the pistachios are toasted & warmed, but other than that, this was definitely not my favorite bread—it was not soft, but yes, I know that’s how baguettes are supposed to be, and it was not that flavorful. The butter was great, but that’s tough to screw up
French Onion Soup - I actually ordered the parsnip soup, but they gave me the French Onion Soup instead, & I didn’t say anything because I had debating over which one to try anyways. However, the French Onion Soup was just okay. I had had some earlier in the day at Ramsay’s Pub & Grill that was world’s better, so I wouldn’t recommend this soup given the $17 price tag for it
Bouchon Steak (Medium Rare - $72) - Honestly, for $72.00, this steak was extremely disappointing, & I would not recommend it to anyone. No vegetables came w/ the steak, just French fries, & the French fries aren’t anything special. The steak itself was cooked fine (maybe a little too cooked for a medium rare), but I didn’t find the flavor or way it was cooked to warrant a $72.00 price tag. I definitely would not recommend the steak to anyone.
Overall, I would not recommend Bouchon. It has above average prices w/ avg food
Had a wonderful brunch with Vic as our server. Excellent service and attention to the details. Food was outstanding, Can't wait to go back.
Bad table near the kitchen in a very crowded (think New York) restaurant. Admittedly I was in a bad mood after wandering around the casino for 40 minutes trying to find the restaurant.
Great food and service!
Have wanted to try this place for years and it didn't disappoint. Food and service were great. The level of knowledge of the service staff to guide you through the menu is not something you see very often anymore. Food was amazing just as we assumed it would be based on the reputation. Great experience.
Gary was SUPER!!!
Attentive, very nice, explained everything and made great suggestions as well as being flexible with certain requests. There’s a reason I keep coming back every time I am in town.
Fantastic service (thanks Gary) and food was delicious. Way too crowded though with small tables jammed together. Not cool to put profits over public health especially in the age of Covid. Remove a few tables and problem solved.
The service was average and nothing special. It was quite noisy even though the restaurant was not very busy. The food was very good.
We loved it
Their Pain au Chocolate and Armond Croassant is AMAZINGLY GOOD 👍
We celebrated our anniversary here on Thursday night. The restaurant was busy and we sat very close to guests on both sides, which is the only downside. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent. Highly recommend the roast chicken.
Never a bad meal here, we go to Vegas twice a year and always eat here at least once. From the warm twisty bread on the table top, to the flavorful Creme brûlée, every dish is on the money. Our favorite appetizer is the escargot with the pastry puffs is a must. Roast keg of lamb is flavorful and expertly cooked. The rainbow trout was top notch. The wine list is varied and comparably priced with other Vegas restaurants. The restaurant is always accommodating to my mom’s electric scooter. The waitstaff is friendly and personable and attentive. Would recommend to anyone.
Great meal timing was perfect.
Another amazing meal at Bouchon. The caviar was outstanding, and the service is top notch.
Was lovely and great food. The waiter took time out to really cater to us
The food was okay. The noise level was high. We felt like we were sitting on top of the next table. Could hear their conversation completely. The veal Breast was more like a stew. The featured fish dish was good. The server was very helpful. The restaurant was just way too crowded to enjoy the dining experience.
Very good time.
Delicious oysters and the chicken is a must. Friendly and knowledgeable service, had a great night!
This is my favorite restaurant in Vegas. The Escargot is amazing. Never disappoints.
The cheese danish cannot be missed! A roasted chicken with waffles was an interesting pairing, but delicious nonetheless!
We missed our morning reservation but only waited 30 seconds for a brunch meal.
Disappointing experience. We made reservation for breakfast (early before 9 am).
When we asked to sit out on the patio, we were told it would be 5-10 mins b/c they had to clean a table. But 20 mins later we still hadn't been seated so went back to hostess desk and finally were taken out to patio where we discovered at least 7 empty and cleaned tables. Maybe they wanted a tip to seat us? Then when we finally sat down the menu was mostly lunch-type food - very different than what we remembered from prior visits. Skip breakfast here and perhaps other meals will be better.
Birthday brunch - amazing
The bread is SO good! We shared the mussels and the goat cheese salad to start and followed with steak frites and sautéed spinach. Service was attentive. Really could not recommend this restaurant more!!!
Very romantic setting (outside). Food was outstanding and looking forward to going back!!!
My bill was $225. I left a $50 tip, an additional $36 was added by someone after the check was signed and picked up by the server
We had an amazing time at bouchon. Our servers went above and beyond. The food was fantastic. The ambiance was lovely. Overall just a spectacular night.
Bouchon is a fantastic restaurant. Their Poulet Rôti (baked chicken) was the best chicken we have eaten. Not only was the food and their drinks amazing, yet our waiter was top notch. Excellent service from start to finish. Of all the places we ate while in Las Vegas, Bouchon definitely came out on top. We can't wait to go back.
Bouchon is a very nice and classy restaurant. The staff are extremely nice and courteous. The food is fabulous!
The food was amazing.
Un gran lugar con una comida excelente
This is one of the most consistent places on the strip for a lovely meal. We had brunch this day and enjoyed strong coffee and some of the best pastries in town. Everyone was happy and satisfied with what they chose from steak hash to chicken and savory waffles. It’s easy to find things kids will love durning breakfast/brunch service. One had milk and a pain au chocolat while the other devoured “the best biscuit I’ve ever had” with gravy.
Loved the eggs Benedict with crab and the pastries were fantastic.
Doug was our server, he was amazing 🤩 love this place
Every Sunday I will be there👍
If you want an upscale & delicious experience, we cannot recommend Bouchon enough! The food, the ambiance, the drinks - all fantastic. We were seated outside on their patio, which does overlook the pool deck of the Venezia hotel, but is in such a beautiful courtyard you wouldn't even know.
We started with the salad Lyonnaise and it was scrumptious. The poached egg was perfectly poached and though the salad had heavier ingredients it was wonderfully light due to the vinaigrette and feathery lettuce chosen. Four our entrees I ordered the chicken and my husband ordered the steak, both phenomenal and once again perfectly cooked! The chicken had a crispy skin but moist interior, and my husbands steak had an amazing char on the outside but melted in your mouth as you ate it. We ended with the lemon tart and I will say this was a bit of a miss for me, as it came with a pine nut crust that I just couldn't get on board with. But everything else was so fantastic.
If you're in the mood for a cocktail with dinner, both the Corpse Reviver No.2 and the Sazerac were lovely. Very drinkable, but packed a good punch!
My husband and I noted this will be one of our must stop locations when we're back in Vegas. Cant wait to get back here!
Classy; on the expensive side of casual dining.
The pastries are amazing and try the truffle fries
What an outstanding restaurant!
