We were celebrating a special occasion; unfortunately when we arrived the table wasn’t ready. However the manager came out prior to our meal and provided us a delightful treat in advance of our meal, compliments of the chef. We had a great time the service was spectacular and the food was amazing! Thank you!
Was fun, the service and experience was awesome. Food was amazing!
Our waiter was trying to keep up, but there are a lot of high maintenance clients. The lobster soup has no substance, a bisque preparation would have been better. Also, the smokey s'mores dessert was all presentation, but disappointing in taste. For a restaurant of this size and configuration, it was surprisingly loud.
Bourbon is always very good. The service is spot-on, the food is very good, and the ambiance screams “DC Power Lunch.”
The only objection I would raise: $6 for an Iced Tea is outrageous. Come on guys!
Otherwise, I always enjoy Bourbon Steak.
Despite the name, we ate only seafood and everything was outstanding. If you want to splurge, you won’t be disappointed by the potato caviar appetizer. Great service too! We loved the complimentary fries and truffle bread. I look forward to returning.
Great service. Our waiter was very attentive and recommended very tasty cocktails. The charred octopus is a must! Highly recommend.
The restaurant was very noisy with less than a full crowd. Needs some acoustic work to soften the sound. The service was very good and the waiter was almost too attentive. Food was of course great, but like in every restaurant, even excellent food gets cold sitting on your plate so by the time you are half way through the meal the meat is a little tougher, the veggies a little firmer, etc. Somebody needs to figure out how to keep hot food warm at the table without overcooking anything. But the prices make it harder to take. I don't expect Cheap Eats at the Four Seasons but I've had better steaks elsewhere for a lot less. The hotel and restaurant are for people who don't worry about prices. I'm not one of those lucky ones.
Just amazing food and service.
Very pricey, but for a special occasion and the wish for a special cut of meat the perfect choice.
The atmosphere and service were incredible. Friendly helpful staff. Celebrated Anniversary there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food. Will definitely visit again.
Amazing amazing amazing
A chic restaurant with a lot of offerings for you to enjoy. The ambiance is nice. The staff is impeccably attentive. They had a great grasp of the menu and provided sound recommendations.
Excellent Food, Excellent mood. Very elegant and classy. Friendly ambiance.
Attentive service, good atmosphere, and incredible food.
Fantastic meal as always. This is definitely the best steak house that I've been to in DC. The fries alone make it worth the trip.
Excellent meal and experience for 60th birthday celebration. Food, wine and service were exceptional.
Great experience. Wonderful staff. Enjoyed our dining experience

Sauce on soft shell crab was to die for. Service couldn’t have been better. Very special evening.
We went th
Normally the service inside is great however this time we ate outside in the courtyard and the service was literally non existent . The food was fair but the saving grace was the ambiance.
Bourbon steak is my go to restaurant in DC. Ryabn, the Assistant Manager is outstanding and made our night special and memorable. All the staff is so attentive, friendly and efficient. What can I say about the food-I feel the culinary team consistently delivers the finest food from the greeting french fries with three dipping sauces to the starters and entrees, all superb and pleasurable. The deserts are to die for-all truly outstanding. I tell everyone about Bourbon-if you don't eat here you are missing on of the best culinary and service experiences in DC. Enjoy, you will not be disappointed.
We returned for my husband’s birthday celebration and were shocked at the experience. We had checked reviews and found it was still one of the best places for a steak in DC. HARDLY!!! Aside from good cocktails, the entire meal was overpriced, mediocre quality and uninspired. As it was a celebratory meal, we put our best faces on to not ruin the evening. The next morning we were still analyzing how we so badly missed the mark.
Apparently they closed the next day for long overdue needed renovations
We will never return. Ever.
Expensive, but a great treat. They start by bringing fries with 3 different seasonings and sauces...then truffle butter rolls similar to a cinnamon roll. The server brought me gluten free rolls with truffle butter...so impressed they don’t forget the gluten free diner! Tried the American Kobe filet. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Great dining experience.
For the price, I believe BLT is a better Steackhouse.
The restaurant wasn't really busy at all and the service just was really lackluster. Understand that other things could be happening in personal life or other outside forces so hate to criticize, however felt a little let down. The food was good, but the overall experience could've been a bit better. Would give it another chance, but wasn't overly impressed.
Very very very very expensive expensive expensive. Not worth the prices. $60 for an appetizer? $70 doe a steak?
Mom in town
Service was fantastic. My filet mignon was ok not spectacular as I would expect st the Four Seasons
I hosted a dinner for 6 for my husband’s 40th Birthday and we had a spectacular evening. One couple had never been to Bourbon Steak and now love it.
Very average steak at an incredibly over priced cost.
Took the Team out to a much deserved lunch.
The host (and hostess) (there were multiple) were completely unorganized and it was very awkward as they looked for our/a table as we stood there for 5 minutes (when the restaurant was extremely empty). After they finally found a table, they sat us in a the least ideal spot, next to the building pillar and right by the most used walkway of the waiters. Very strange. We asked to be move (since there were so many open tables). I will say that our waiter was very nice and attentive. However, at the end of the meal he brought a CREDIT CARD MACHINE for us to pay (and tip him, while he stood there!) This is supposed to be a 5 star restaurant, this was a special occasion, and our dinner experience was just so disappointing.
Probably the best meal I have ever had. The Wagyu A5 NY STRIP was incredible. Buttery tender and incredibly flavorful. I have had Wagyu before - but never like this. Yes it is expensive, but worth every penny. Oysters and a softshell for appetizers and then mushrooms and macaroni and cheese for sides made the meal complete and amazing. I will be back. When you just feel the need for a great steak, go to Bourbon Steak.
This is an excellent restaurant and is highly rated. I feel that tonight was not necessarily the best night for me to go to this restaurant. They were very busy and I was a party of one. Consequentially the larger parties in my general observation got considerably more attention than I. Unfortunately I brought this to the attention of a manager and decided To Pay for my drink and appetizer and then leave. I am certain that this is not common practice for this Restaurant.
We had an exceptional experience at Bourbon Steakhouse in the Four Seasons Hotel. Jeanine was our server and I want to express my gratitude to her. We have several allergies in she family and she catered to us beyond any expectations!
Well done! The managers and staff where on point that night!
We ordered the signature dish of Lobster potpie and the lobster was over cooked. We also had a filet which was good but not melt in your mouth. The fries were good but I was expecting home made. We felt the quality did not meet the $$$$.
Thank you for a wonderful evening. We enjoyed celebrating our favorite Dad with a great meal and service. You have never disappointed us! Can’t wait for our next dining experience.
Great service i took my husband as a fathers day gift. We both ordered the the same steak steak. My was tender and his was a little chewy. Mine was seaoned his was not. Overall Bourbon Steak does not go on our list as best meal ever. Delicious food is what we hope for and no matter the price. We dine out 2 times a week
If we dont get that yummy, tender, moist, seasoned happy the restaurant doesn't get a 2nd chance If I like it and my husband doesn't we will go back 1 more time and vice vera. Got to go watching Ellen. If this review has misspells or confusion it is
Ellen DeGeneres faul love the show and her.
Service was great food was great
