The perfect option for great value relaxed or business lunches in a convenient central London location.
Brasserie One is a reasonably priced oasis in Westminster, which is ideal if you want a conversation over a meal. I have always found the service to be very good, with good food and wine. The menu is limited, but I have always managed to find something worth having and that I like. Worth checking out. I keep returning.
A well kept secret - excellent location & very lively due to several Xmas parties in there too but only added to the occasion - it was our office Xmas lunch too &, if anything, felt slightly under dressed without my Xmas jumper. House wine very good value. Didn't think the mushrooms really went with the satay sauce for starter & the Xmas pudding was totally ruined by the addition of cloves - unexpected & totally overpowering, especially if you don't like cloves. The turkey, on the other hand, was truly magnificent & probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Overall, a very good meal in a lovely setting for a very reasonable price. We will be back.
Overall, it was a very nice experience. Food was delicious, and we will definitely be returning.
We have been to the Brasserie for our Christmas lunch for many years. It has recently been refurbished and the new refurbishment is a great improvement. As a fairly large party we appreciated the help and attention to detail when planning prior to the day. The service on the day was very good, quiet but attentive. The Amaretto Stollen Shot following the main course was a nice touch.
Really superb lunch with sea fresh fish perfectly cooked veg and a panna cotta to die for
My first experience at Brasserie I was very enjoyable ....The food service and ambience were excellent and
extremely good value
Will definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend to friends
Fantastic service and catered very well for my vegan needs
Good food at an amazingly reasonable price. Quiet ambiance.
As always excellent fantastic venue to meet clients and contacts in the construction industry. Exactly what the ICE set out to provided when it set up 1GGS.
Can't really review. They cancelled our reservation because we were a few minutes late. I can say it's hard to locate as there is no outside signage that we could find and that caused us to miss by a few minutes.
This was our first visit at this restaurant but hopefully not the last. Both of us found all the dishes we chose were very well cooked and nicely presented with the portion sizes exactly as we would expect from a special lunch. The rump of lamb and Bakewell tart were particularly tasty. Also, bearing in mind that we shared a bottle of champagne plus a carafe of wine the total bill struck us as being very reasonable. Anybody who enjoys good food served very professionally and in quiet surroundings (it was lovely to have a conversation without having to shout) would really appreciate this restaurant. Thank you and we look forward to coming again.
Food was good. On a Thursday lunchtime there were only three other tables occupied, the room is rather plain so lacked ambience.
Although it looks a little like a 'café' the food and service were excellent and there was a good wine list. For a relaxed, informal lunch it was perfect.
Nice food and service was very good. It was very quiet at lunch.
Very good place for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is in a nice building and it is quiet. The food is good and not really expensive.
The brassiere in the Institute of Civil Engineering is truly a five star experience while keeping their delicacies in a reasonable price range! They have a good mix of starters, main courses and desserts that fit our need for certain intolerances. Our host gave us a worm welcome and always kept an eye for our needs. I recommend it both for private meeting as well as for a big event (business or party). Thank you for your hospitality!
Good service, smart restaurant. Good food well presented. Overall high standard.
The food was really good with generous portions. The service was very polite, thorough and attentive. The style of the restaurant itself is a bit bland in contrast to the Institute of Engineering building where it's located.
The restaurant could also do with a sign indicating its location at street level.
Excellent food in a setting of restrained modern elegance, within a grand historic building in the heart of Westminster. Quietly attentive staff. The only slight negative is that it seems to lack customers.... Always many empty tables, despite its quqlities. Very odd.
Not a great choice to eat from the main menu (but to be fair I was already aware of that); however, the starters can be "beefed" up to provide an alternative main course. Food was good and tasty with no complaints from our group but the portions could have been a bit larger. Good attentive service plus a quiet and relaxed setting in this historic building. We very much enjoyed our visit.
Always excellent which is why I am a regular user for business meals.
Great spot in the area for a business lunch, prompt and attentive service.
Overall we were pleased but the menu selection (main courses) has been very similar for the last two years.
good food, pleasant room - excellent staff, who really made the lunch special.
We had lunch here midweek , the food was very good great flavours and well presented. The restaurant was spacious with a simple clean layout. The service was excellent and the house white was delicious and good value.
I would recommend for a casual meal with no unnecessary frills and good value for good food.
My first time at this restaurant but it will not be my last. The whole experience was excellent from the warm welcome to leaving. The food was very good for both of the courses and the service could not have been better. A well priced restaurant for both food and wine and I gave no hesitation in recommending you pay it a visit
This is in the basement of the Institute of Civil Engineers. But it's barely advertised so was empty when we went on a Thursday lunchtime. The food is great but they really need to promote the place more.
Menu is too complex and overpriced for the ingredients. The choice was limited. Wines were good. Service was a attentive.
A little Oasis in the heart of Westminster. Five minutes from Parliament, Horseguards etc. A good menu, great food and excellent house wines. Attentive staff without being pushy. Should be on everyone’s luncheon list.
ICE is just cool for a value lunch in less than 60 mins !
It was ok but really nothing special about this place - convenient for the location but not exciting. Food tasted ok.
Cannot recommend highly enough - fantastic customer experience: superb service, excellent food, superb wines and very good value for money. Brasserie One is a gem, a real find, so close to Parliament square the Division Bell sounds.
Of special note, the service we received from Costin was outstanding - right from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We shall return.
Didn’t realise this restaurant was in an office building!! But lovely restaurant, good food and lovely service.
A good place to have a business meeting in Westminster.
Good quality food which was delicious and good service.
Excellent food, service was spot on -friendly and efficient without being too over whelming. Top find, has a private feel to it, would recommend it for a superb lunch spot
Very good food in an informal atmosphere - and good value
Two of us shared a selection of delicious half portions dishes to allow room for desserts, which were well worth it. Rose wine rounded off a very agreeable lunch before setting out on a Secret London Freetours guided walk. Would recommend the seaweed crackers.
I'm a regular visitor. Food and service are always great quality. At first sight, the menu looks a bit limited but visitors should see that the starters can be served as main courses, so that makes things better. Might be worthwhile if the waiters draw this to the customer's attention.
Great location, of course.
Very good location for our group of friends coming from all parts of the UK. Food was very good and the service excellent. One Brasserie is ideal for lunch time discussions, no music and very comfortable ambiance.
The service was excellent with very tasty original dishes
