We enjoyed this restaurant while visiting Dublin. The food was nice not as good as some of the other places we tried but no major complaints. Of course, that could depend upon what you order! When I saw rotisserie duck on the menu I pictured getting half of a rotisserie duck. Instead it was a duck breast which I'm pretty sure was cooked in a pan. Usually rotisserie poultry is super tender and fall-off-the-bone. Anyway, I was a little disappointed in that. They were very nice and I would say try it and you'll probably like it!
I've eaten at Brasserie 66 on quite a few occasions and I would be happy to return. On my last visit, for a Saturday lunch, I found the combination of the background music (quite obtrusive) and a large family party on the adjacent table made it difficult to converse with my guest. But overall, as my retuning visits show, I like the ambience and the food at Brasserie 66.
Our server was not at all pleasant. She made snarky comments then ignored us most of the evening. We enjoyed the food but it couldn’t make up for the bad service.
Our table was ready when we arrived early so we were seated immediately. The service was very good. There was a good selection on the menu. I felt the wine was a bit expensive
Very small portions for the french toast
Great night as always! Exceptional deserts, thanks all!
The food is always delicious here - on the night we dined there was a number of large groups however it was great to see this did not affect the quality of food served. We had a few little mishaps with our server as she brought the wrong wine (twice) however apart from that it was excellent! Food portions are extremely large!
Table was a little late we were booked for 6.30 but it was ok we had a drink at bar Batman super nice and helpful
Food great a little noisy but it was happy noise lots of parties
The food was fantastic, both myself and my mother enjoyed. The service was a little slow each time I had to ask to be serviced. For an establishment that is well set up and very busy restaurant you think they would have alternative milk available for a coffee. The waitress was very apologetic and said you only get a small bit in each day.
It was my first time there for lunch and food was excellent with a good choice and reasonable price
I was short changed and when I tried to get their attention to point this out they kept walking past me, so I had to leave it.
We were served a smoothie instead of a cocktail and then there was confusion as to which cocktail was alcohol free.
It was a bit of a conveyor belt with different waiters appearing at the table throughout out the meal.
They used frozen French fries which were soggy, usually the French fries are really good there.
I thought it was expensive for what we actually got.
Disappointing because it’s usually good and the person who did actually serve us our food was very pleasant.
I really enjoyed the meal we had on Saturday evening except for the service. We waited for drinks, we had to ask a couple of times for something we wanted before it would arrive. We ordered drinks before our main that didn't arrive until we had finished our main. We wanted to settle the bill gave a voucher and cash no one came back to thank us for our custom or that was all ok. I would go back as food was lovely but floor staff sloppy and wasn't a case of short staffed as plenty of staff working. Tables are also on tight side could do with giving some extra space between tables so you don't feel you are sitting with the next table!
Very poor food. Burgers each. Burger chewy and bun hard. Some chips hard also. Got coffee and one was cold and one was scalding hot
Been coeliac its often difficult to find decent gluten free food and also find that its clearly labelled! But thankfully brassiere 66 does both amazingly and made dining an easy& enjoyable experience😬
Interesting menu with lots of brunch and hamburger options. Perfectly poached eggs - a rarity in my experience. Nice friendly service and a short but OK wine list.
The only complaint I have is that I wish there had been more food because it was so delicious!
Food and service excellent as always! Short rib beef and chicken liver parfait were particular favourites
The waitress was quite abrupt and tried to rush us. We were then charged for the wrong set menu and had to ask them to change it. Very pricey for what it was. Rotisserie chicken and the burger were very dry!
Excellent for brunch, quality of service is always great.
I have multiple food allergies and they were SO accommodating. Wonderful from the bar to sitting for dinner.
Great place for a bite to eat. I always treat myself somewhere nice to eat on Saturdays, food is very tasty too. Had the duck for mains, delicious. I would recommend visiting here early as it can get very noisy later in the evening.
Place is nice and cosy. Little bit congested kind a feeling. Cocktails were awesome. Starter, calamari rings and smoked salmon was very tasty. As i am not a fan of red meat had to settle for Cod and chicken dish where cod dish was nice slightly overcooked broth on the cod dish was not matching to the flavor well but overall enjoyed the Cod. Chicken was cooked perfectly tasty but the portion size wad very large. As we went for a special occasion they arranged a nice birthday wish for a dessert and appreciate it. I recommend the place as food is tasty.
I MAY TRY AGAIN !!!
SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT ,WITH STAFF FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE,THE AMBIANCE WAS OK ,BUT MY ISSUE WAS THE TABLES FOR TWO WERE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER , "YOU COULD NOT HAVE A PERSONAL CONVERSATION WITH YOUR FELLOW DINER"
THE DINNER MENU FOR 3 COURSE WAS EXCELLENT VALUE ,BUT AGAIN I FOUND THE WINE MENU SLIGHTLY ON THE PRICEY SIDE . THIS COULD EASILY BE RESOLVED BY INTRODUCING ALTERNATIVE HOUSE WINES BOTH IN RED AND WHITE WITH A PRICE POINT OF 25-28 EURO.
Exceptional service, lively ambiance and delicious food.
Lovely place, large portions and beautiful cooked, had catch of the day, grapefruit and olives with butter broth bit weird, haddock amazing but take skin off if going to be soggy at table, could do more with wines by glass to match food, encourage customers to by couple and better value, bit noisy in the corner we were seated by spread customers out as tables turning, would visit again when in Dublin
Stuck in a room out the back. And was the worst seat in the house
Amazing food, extremely helpful and pleasant staff, fantastic cocktails and great atmosphere. Couldn't recommend it highly enough
The old fashioned. A drink to remember.
We really enjoyed our dining experience. Was our second time there. Would highly recommend it. The only thing for me was the chicken was quite dry but other than that it was super.
Very disappointing, fish was not hot, duck too much ft
Lovely restaurant to visit anytime. Staff are efficient, friendly and food is great value. Highly recommend for all to visit. Looking forward to returning soon again.
I've been to Brasserie 66 a few times and always notice how friendly and attentive the staff are. Unfortunately this time our main server wasn't very friendly or attentive. They were quite stand offish and didn't seem to like us one bit! In saying this our order was taken correctly and we got it quickly. I had mackeral salad, the dressing was lovely but the fish was sliced into 3-4 pieces and overcooked. Leave the fish in one piece and a bit softer. We both had steak for main, the sides were lovely but the steak was a little fatty so hard to cook. I know ribeye should be slighty fatty but this seemed a little too much. It was very tasty though. My boyfriend had a dessert he loved and we'd two delicious cocktails. We spent quite a bit as we had a 100 euro voucher (given as a special gift) so it would have been even better if our server was a little more friendly.
Really enjoyed our Brunch. Nice relaxed atmosphere. No rushing us. Food was very nice. Would recommend.
Great experience !! Excellent food. Just very noisy !!
The noise level was ridiculous, couldn’t hear the person opposite me. There were 2 tables of 10 when I was in there. Food was ok but not worth the £80 meal for 2
Hen party screaming and shouting through entire dinner, not once asked to be quiet. More like Wetherspoons than a nice restaurant. Food comes out 2 mins after you order which means not made fresh and made in bulk. Wasn’t warm. Older staff members have face like thunder. To top it off when I paid bill they didn’t return with the change which was over 10 euros. I had to ask after 10 minutes where my change was and eventually it was dropped on the table with a “sorry about that” - Don’t go here, spend your money elsewhere
We eat here a lot, food is excellent. However , we found our waitress very insistent in telling us to vacate our table. I understand there is a two hour turn around during busy times, but she told us 4 times that she needed the table back in different ways, we got the message loud and clear the first time. It was myself and my friends birthday, my friend was very disappointed with waitress's attitude. We were done and dusted by eight which is the time that she told us she needed the table back.
We had a really nice evening in Brasserie Sixty6. The staff are lovely and we didn't feel at all rushed. The food is very nice and great for coeliacs and vegetarians - we had one of each. I would recommend this restaurant
Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff.
