Excellent Staff made the meal, best starter I have ever eat.
Have been here many times but was very disappointed with the food on this occasion, unlikely I would go back again
Lovely evening, good atmosphere as it seems some companies were enjoying their Christmas party! The staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable with great recommendations. The toilets need a little updating but very pleasant evening.
From start to finish it was excellent, great atmosphere, service and food. Cocktails outstanding and wine delicious. Short rib to die for. Thank you.
This was our last night in Dublin and we had been checking this place out since we arrived and thought to leave it for our final dinner in Ireland - what a massive mistake! We arrived on time and yet the waiter/server steered at me on and off for 6-7 minutes until he decided to approach and seat us. The same waiter served us but his interest and personality appeared to be somewhere else as he couldn’t be bothered to listen to our order. There was three of us at the table and I must have had to repeat our order at least 3 times for each of us and then he couldn’t get it right. The salad my wife ordered came with no dressing (it was mixed leaf based which made it taste overly dry), hadn’t been washed properly with some of the leaves completely off and slimey and should never have been served. The chicken was leathery like it had been cut days earlier and hardened which made it inedible. She said nothing but it would’ve been obvious to staff something was wrong given she’d hardly eaten any of her meal. My daughter’s and my food was ok (steak was pretty grisly) and certainly not worth the price they charge. To cap the evening off when we went to pay, we rounded the bill up to the nearest € and paid in cash, this clearly infuriated the waiter as we left no tip. We’re usually generous in leaving gratuity but if he thought we would leave a tip for his special level of incompetence and ability to provide NO service then he clearly has a strange opinion of what service is. His reaction was nothing short of rude when he came over and slammed the change down on the table as we were leaving. My recommendation is DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE - over priced and below average food with the worst service on offer ANYWHERE!
Food was good and portion size were fair, I was very happy with my dish but it wasn’t wow I cannot wait to go back again by any means
We had a really great meal here on January 2nd. Outstanding value, top class service and delicious food and cocktails. Would highly recommend.
We were there to celebrate New years eve. The staff were great, food was amazing, and the drinks were splendid. We had a great time there
I used to love this restaurant, so much that I'd have called it one of my top 3 favourite restaurants in Dublin. I was disappointed over the minimum selection on the set menu. The price of the menu is extortionate, I couldn't believe the price. It has made me think twice about returning. The meal was very basic not what it used to be.
Food was perfect. Timing was great and service very pleasant.
Highly recommend Brasserie66 as a great spot for dinner.Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
Went there with my girlfriend. The staff were very nice, the environment is cozy and simple. I had a burger and it was pretty standard, it didn't justify the price. My girlfriend had a ceasar salad with chicken ordered as a main dish, it was very small, the lettuce was whole and looked like it was just tossed in the plate, it barely came with chicken and it had too much bacon. She was still hungry after we left. Paid almost 45 euro. Will not be returning.
Love this restaurant and its food especially the steak. Is the chef available to cook me dinner at home everyday ? Ha joking!
Lovely restaurant and such lovely staff all very manerly polite friendly and professional.
If you are going to bother opening on Stephen's Day, at least make the experience enjoyable for your customers. I have been here many times in the past with out issue. The food was overcooked and the service lacking. Disappointing as it was a family members birthday and my recommendation to go here.
Service was amazing, the atmosphere were brilliant. We got the steak and it was simply delicious. Desert is a must, the only thing was we found it to be quiet expensive. Particularly the wine.
The staff here are amazing and the food is fantastic. Welcoming faces and heart warming food.
Food was poor wine is overpriced for what it is. I could not recommend this restaurant
My mains was extremely fatty. I had the jamb chop.
It's a grand restuarent, but won't be going back.
Fantastic restaurant, excellent service and great value.
Lovely experience, fantastic food and service and great atmosphere! Could have stayed another few hours enjoying the mulled wine and Festive feels.
It used to be my favourite restaurant in Dublin, but the food was really bad the last 2 times that I went.
The burger was completely burned
We booked a table for 9 people for a family occasion. Our experience was not good. We were told that because we a group over 6 we could only work off the set menu €46 for 3 courses!! With a really limited choice. We were not told this when we booked through open table and so we asked for a la carte. We were refused and told that there was nothing they could dd. We all agreed that it was a really bad value bad choice menu and overpriced so we told the waiter we would leave it and cancel. Then everything changed and they offered us a la carte!! Waiting staff were I general rushed and terse almost passive aggressive. Service was bad some of us had to ask 3 times to get their drinks. Food was bland in general and not hot. Music was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves. They added 12.5% service charge because we were group over 6.
I have been to this restaurant many times in the past and found it enjoyable and good value but the last 3 times I have not been happy with food and service. Last night was the worst by far and it seemed everything was wrong. It was a nightmare experience and all 9 of us agreed and would never go back. Awful waste of money.
First time in Brassier 66 on Saturday. I wouldn't rush back in a hurry. Wasn't blown away by the food and service. An average dining experience. Better restaurants in Dublin
Staff were very friendly. Service excellent. Food excellent. My only issue is that 7 people were presented with both a lunch menu AND a Christmas set menu. I didn't want any of the starters from the Xmas choice OR a desert. Some of us ordered from the lunch menu and others opted for the other. The Waitress returned to tell us that we must ALL order from the same menu. So 3 of our party had to change our order and take the option of desert or 'cocktail' . Cocktails weren't great and I spent more than I would have on the lunch menu. I want to stress however that the food was really good. Ive never had a problem in groups switching menus in other restaurants. I am aware that its busy this time of year so this may be the reason
Went there for brunch on Saturday only to find out they only serve brunch on Sundays - yet no indication of that on website, receipt even said they serve brunch Saturdays and Sundays. Staff very unfriendly.
Food was mediocre. Second time dining here. 1st time Food was mediocre.. thought I’d give it a 2nd shot... same! Vegetable tagine was poor. Bland. Nothing to write home about. Calamari starter dish was covered in wet lettuce leaves which destroyed the crunchy palate of a delicious fried calamari dish.
Used to love this place but vegetable tagine on every set menu over the last few years as the vegetarian option is getting very old! 46e for Christmas menu is very expensive no wine or prosecco included. No marshmallows or cream with the hot chocolate, not impressed
Lunch menu very limited. No barman for cocktails. Much better atmosphere at night.
Enjoyable, great food and atmosphere
Great food, excellent service. Will definitely return. One of the best steaks I've ever had. My only critism would be that I ordered my steak rare but it arrived medium rare. I know though that in this country people ordering rare get scared when they actually get a rare steak! I like it bloody, and as I understand it this is how a rare steak should be. However the steak was still absolutely delicious and I cannot fault the quality of the meat. Also service was very quick. We had a lovely time.
Abrupt service, felt rushed even though we were happy to leave within the 2 hour time frame bit got impression they wanted us out in 1.5! Food was OK, lukewarm (mushroom tagliatelle) but far overpriced for what it was...
Very poor service at the start of our meal which unfortunately impacted poorly on our overall experience
Great restaurant in Dublin !!! Arrived before my reservation and was dotted quickly!
Very lively, busy restaurant. Great service despite being busy. Good choices on menu, good food. Relatively expensive so value for money at 4stars not 5, but worth a visit !
Love going here, lovely restaurant, only fault on last visit girl showed us to our table wasnt very welcoming just threw menu down and walked off...and chicken dish very dry.. otherwise lovely evening.
We got our table 15 minutes late but felt rushed off the table even though we were not told they needed it back at a certain time.
We had the set menu with wine and cocktails; the steak was fabulous!! The staff were very friendly and we were allowed the time to enjoy or meal and drinks, even on a busy Saturday night. We will definitely be back.
I have been to the restaurant numberous times in the past, and love it! Saturday evening was the start of the Xmas cheer, and the venue was rocking. At one stage a group of ladies arrived and they screamed so much that it was impossible to have a conversation. The lady next to us complained, but nothing was done. I know you cannot ask people to be quite, but this was excessive. We ended up eating in silence, as we couldn't hear each other.
Food was delicious, and service was fantasic.
Highly recommend the extensive cocktail list.
We were told twice by staff that we had to finish up as there policy was only 2 hours per table, this was when restaurant was getting busy But on arrival we were never told this policy , that the table was needed back .
We were told by manager that every restaurant in Dublin has a 2 hour table policy which I assume is untrue
Nice vibe, even if it's really loud. Food is good, but expensive. Worth a shot!
