peppercorn sauce, French fries
Efficient friendly service. We had the Prix Fixe 3 course menu which was very good value for money.
We have eaten here more than once and will definitely be back
Ambience is beautiful and it’s amazing value for money. Service was really really slow but they were nice about it - would go again
Delicious food and great atmosphere. Service was a tiny bit slow.
Great ambiance and wine list. Excellent escargot and oysters. Pork chop and accompanying jus under seasoned. Highlight was the creamed spinach. Live music brilliant.
Superb escargot, lovely ambiance with live music from 21.00. Service was ok, a few times the waitress wasn’t around when we needed her. Pricey
Excellent service and good value
Wonderful surroundings and excellent, but simple, fixed price meal.
Great value fixed price menu with good service in lovely surroundings.
We arrive at the incorrect (my mistake) and the staff were wonderful and found me a table and served lovely food.
As always, a warm welcome, great value prix fixe lunch, and delightful service. We are big fans of Brasserie Zedel and it has never failed to please. For an easy and thoroughly enjoyable evening out, we can recommend dinner in Zedel followed by a Crazy Coqs cabaret.
Great dinner after the theatre. Everything lived up to usual standard.
A proper French brasserie. Food was great, good value. Wine list is reasonable. Service was excellent. A fine place for a pre-theatre dinner.
Staff were very friendly. I had the goats cheese salad which was good but the breaded whiting gouging were a little dry. The rhum baba was excellent Thought prices had gone up a little.
A most enjoyable post matinee meal. Good food, helpful and friendly service and a buzzing atmosphere
Terrific atmosphere as always. Excellent service.
Food was good, service excellent. But being limited to 2 hours was inadequate and everything felt rushed and the music didn't start until we were leaving
Delicious food. Efficient and friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Great service. Will definitely be back
food was reliable and good value. service was surly and had negative attitude
We enjoyed a good sunday lunch.Pity about the filthy toilets.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday, was a live music but the acoustic of the place was terrible we didn’t hear anything just the people talking, about the dishes the presentation was so simple and the onion soup was salty & we asked for a candle with the dessert and didn’t have any hahaha terrible experience! Overpriced!!!
Lovely though food was lacking.
Picturesque venue, good brasserie menu with a pleasant buzz in the atmosphere.
Great room. Great value for money. Impeccable service
Staff were very accommodating and lovely. The ambience was amazing, very high class Victorian style. Food was very good (though a little on the salty side but I do tend to eat on the bland side). Will definitely go again when I have the chance! :)
We booked a meal for after an art exhibition with friends. We had stylish drinks in the wonderful American Bar first. We were shown to our table from there, and didn’t have to ask. Four of us ordered different things, and we all enjoyed them equally. We splashed out on a bottle of Gigondas which was good but we have had better in the past. I wasn’t sure it really merited the cost.
But that doesn’t detract from the evening, We do commend the staff in the kitchen and front of house for managing to produce 4 different and well cooked meals in good time. You are doing this sort of thing really well.
Consistently good for straightforward brasserie food on a lovely setting with great service
Fantastic food and atmosphere, loved the whole experience! We will definitely will be going again next time we are back in London
