Great food good value for a Sunday lunch, table was not great as we were put very near the main entrance doors, looked like a bit of an afterthought, deserts took a long while to come apparently the kitchen cooked the wrong ones, these things happen, overall though nice experience

Faultless. We decided to keep our Sunday lunch reservation once lock down eased and it was the best decision we have made. The service from Sian and Ashley (followed by Nick as a surprise!) was exemplary.
If you want to be looked after, with exceptional food at unbelieveable value then this really is the best place to go.
All 3 courses for all 4 of us were superb. Packed with delicious balanced flavours and presented with class and style.
The wine selection was lovely and cocktail menu would be very tempting had we not been driving.
I can't wait to go back! You will not be disappointed.

Excellent lunch for a birthday treat. We were really well looked after from start to finish, and the food was excellent. Social distancing was well maintained, and the staff all wore face masks. Highly recommended

Very good food: choice and quality; good selection of wines; efficient, discrete and friendly service in a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Attention to covid19 rules was careful but not oppressive. A good time had by all.

Brilliant service, food was amazing and the soft piano in the background made for a lovely atmosphere. Waiting staff very professional and friendly. Extremely happy will be coming back again.

We went here as a birthday dinner. It was their first Thursday opening since the coronavirus pandemic. They kept in touch with me about the booking well ahead of time and even informed me we would be the only people there that evening and it will be quiet but had the option of changing our booking if we’d like more of an energetic environment. In fact it was a bonus to have the place to ourselves! Food was excellent, service of course excellent, very mindful of social distancing too. Having been to Brasted’s before, it is a delightful experience everytime. They even surprised my partner with a birthday surprise even when I didn’t prearrange anything! All in all very happy with the evening. Thank you :)

Very good food enjoyed the piano playing.
Difficult to find bins were obstructing placard which had the name of the restaurant. But once found it was a truly wonderful experience.

Perfect. Delicious food, presented beautifully. The ambience was just right - an impeccable experience. For the quality of food served and compared to other restaurants in its league, prices (for lunch) were very reasonable. Would definitely return and definitely recommend.

Excellent food, impeccable service. The restaurant has adapted well to al fresco dining (it’s a shame one wasp didn’t understand social distancing) and we felt very safe.

Brasteds has not been serving lunches for many years, but they now have a lovely Courtyard for Al Fresco dining with luxurious sofas to relax in after, for a coffee and
digestif - subject of course to reasonable weather !
The food, service and ambience are magical and with a Lunch Menu of £29.00 for three courses, there can be no better value anywhere.

Service was excellent, food in general was superb, only complaint, which is slightly being pernickety, was the bread being a bit dry. Other than that an excellent evening.

Really lovely evening, great food and service during these difficult times. The pianist is a lovely addition. Spacing of tables was very good and it was good that all the staff that attended the tables wore masks. The only improvement I would suggest is that given that the virus is airborne all staff should wear masks.

Once again, Brasted's does not disappoint. Lovely environment, great service and great food. We keep going back for special celebrations, and we are delighted it has managed to emerge from lockdown with all the best aspects intact. Well done!

Lovely 4 course meal. Food, cocktails and wine were all great. Decent value for money. Slightly lacking atmosphere but possibly because of where we were sitting and not helped by covid restrictions. Very friendly helpful staff.

We went to Brasted’s for my fiancé’s 50th birthday. First night they reopened. Lovely food and wine. We felt safe as tables far apart and serving staff wearing masks. Will be back soon

Very nice experience but one small criticism. Twice the waiter interrupted us whilst we were in deep conversation. I know this is difficult, but it was blatant on both occasions, one being when one of the waiters moved in between us to brush the table cloth and totally cut through our conversation.
Apart from this the service was exceptional.

We had a lovely lunch here for our wedding anniversary on Friday. We thought it represented very good value for money, as the food was seasonal, delicious and plentiful.
The service was exemplary: friendly, welcoming and efficient. The safety measures post Covid made us feel safe, whilst not detracting from the ambience.
All in all we had an excellent time and would highly recommend!
