Lovely night out. Tasty food at the lovely St Katherine’s dock , great booth seating . Manager was attentive and friendly until we ignored his recommendations then seemed to become a little frosty. Maybe coincidence. I would recommend this place though and would return .

Lovely setting, both externally and the views across the docks and within the restaurant.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and even provided us with strawberries to put in our Cava upon request.
There was a very personal feel to the service and atmosphere.
The food itself was fabulous and had excellent flavours.
Definitely a gem.

A very good evening spent with the Bravas team, great food, service could have been slightly faster but then it was the hottest day of the year so no complaints

We had absolutely brilliant ford at Bravas tapas.
Unfortunately the evening was marred by a very rude server. He initially tapped his pen while my husband made his wine selection - this did not take any significant time.

He then made a celebratory noise that I could only describe as a "woop" when my husband asked for a particular wine.

This completely spoiled the evening- and the food delivered by other servers was done well, when he brought a selection there was any accompanying noise or sarcastic comment.

We decided to leave rather than have coffee as this server made the whole evening unpleasant.

I have rated ambience good as it would have been excellent without this server, and service and overall was rated from no stars to two by the other ladies who were delightful.

We won't be back as the risk of this very unpleasant man serving us is too great

We had a lovely lunch the food was beautifully cooked and the afternoon was really great. The only negative were that the waiting staff, they were a little moody, it seemed like we were putting them out, however they seemed to warm to us by the end. Overall I would highly recommend and we would definitely return.

The menu is very limited and the food they do have was mediocre, at best and extremely salty. The decor was tired and felt a little dirty. On a positive note, the location is exceptional and was a great spot to sit and relax.

Menu too limited, needs to be more choice and variety especially if you compare to Iberica. Food very average eg Tempura batter on prawns was too thick, needs to be thinner and lighter. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Location perfect.

Gorgeous food. And as there were 3 of us for once it worked it out that they serve tapas in portions of 3!

Fabulous food spoilt to an extent by mediocre service. Wine bought before drinks, warm berr as we had seen it left on the bar for a while and then a long wait for the replacement. But a lovely setting and I would go again

Fantastic restaurant with beautiful food. Host was most accommodating and when he realised that we had accidentally missed/not ordered their signature salmon dish when paying, the owner brought one out for free as "we simply had to try it". Amazing experience, will 100% go back!

An amazingly well placed restaurant on St Katherine's Marina - in terms of location unbeatable. The food was also very nice but to be expected with a Tapas Restaurant.

The staff however were very rude. I phoned up at 1700hrs to explain we were running late due to tube problems - was told in no uncertain terms they wouldn't keep our table if we were late and the staff member on the phone was very blunt and rude.

Upon arrival (10 mins late) the table was thankfully still free. Throughout we felt like we were being rushed. The waitress came to our table 4 times to ask for our order thus disturbing our conversation which as you can imagine on a date is frustrating. When we ordered the food the waitresses/waiters would literally run to our table and just ditch things on it and run off again. It was all very chaotic and made us feel like we were being rushed to eat.

Obviously a good restaurant as otherwise it would not be so busy. However management should either hire more staff or improve capacity so it can cope.

Excellent food and really good value.
Service wasn't outstanding but it was a very busy Saturday night. Tables were a bit close together for a romantic night, it felt like we were sharing another tables space.
I would reccomend it for the amazing food though!

Poor ambience on late Sunday lunch.
Food wasn’t great.
Service was fair, nothing special.
Wine glasses were rather dirty. Hope this review helps you to improve your service: keeping standards and polishing glassware.
Grease stains on the wall don’t help to feel the place is clean.

Some items on the menu, such as the octopus and prawn, were good however overvalued for the cost/portion ratio. The service was fast just wish our waitress had a clue ab the menu without having to constantly ask in the back. The restaurant is one of the better options in the St. Katherine’s Dock area but as far as Spanish restaurants there are much better options in London.

We are visiting London and staying at St. Katherine Docks. We always enjoy tapas so Bravas Tapas seemed like the perfect choice and it was nearby. What a great decision on our part! This restaurant is cozy and lively (yeah, it can get really loud). The food was excellent, the service was fast, the prices were reasonable for good ingredients.
With 3 of us, we tried a wide variety of the menu. The lamb chops were my personal highlight while my wife loved the gazpacho (in a really visually eye-catching brandy snifter on its side). My niece really appreciated the octupus. The Brava potatoes were wonderfully crispy and the serving dish separated out the sauce from the potatoes (keeping them crispy longer).
We weren't as impressed with the sliders (a bit overdone for my taste), and the pork belly could stand to be cut into smaller servings (it was delivered in three BIG squares that are too large for most people to chew). The cheese selections didn't impress me either (though the crispy toasted bread and the roasted pepper served along side were both wonderful). I'm not really a fan of Spanish cheeses though. Overall, the food was outstanding.
It was very loud in the restaurant on a Thursday night and we appreciated the place more as people started to leave. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and we had a nice discussion about the food and wine.
I will finish with dessert. We ordered the whole selection. To me, the Torrija was the stand-out of the whole meal. The pairing of the crispy custard with passion fruit ice cream is just an amazing pairing. The macerated strawberries won for visual presentation with a foaminess surrounding the white chocolate in the center. My wife liked the almond cake the best, but didn't care for the raspberry sorbet it paired with.
All in all it was a wonderful evening and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Very enjoyable meal entertaining clients fairly informally. Excellent dishes with unusual flavours and combinations (prawns and horseradish). Staff offered some flexibility - a little busy with others and some odd rules about needing to be sat at a table when outside (which may be something to do with the marina). Great views and atmosphere, and feels a relaxed and a long way from the bustle of Tower Bridge. Wines were great. Desert not the best - but pretty much everything else, super.

Very good and original food. Nice service. The place was full though, you need to book. Service rather fast for the number of tables. The place is a bit noisy. Food very well presented and tasty. Good value for the price. Although, wine is pretty expensive. We found the 12,5% service charge a bit too much.

Overall I would say 4/5 stars.

We were a big fan of this place for many years, but this time we were really disappointed by the poor quality of their service. After they took the first drink order, the drinks were not served for over 20 min, and we have to remind them a couple of times. After our first glasses, we order the same wine, which didn't come for another 20min, and we were sitting on our empty glasses. After the first round of tapas, we asked to show their menu again to order some more food, but we had to ask for it for 3 times but waiters never brought it, so my husband had to walk to the bar counter to pick it up. Then, we asked them to take some order, but they didn't come for more than 30 min, so we decided to leave the restaurant. We asked for a bill, and calmly mentioned we were disappointed about their service, then the guy talked us back (!) with all sorts of excesses ranting about how busy they are because of Saturday night (we know they are always busy - that night wasn't exceptional - that's why we booked our table 2 months in advance! Saturdays are always busy anyway, so hire more people!), service can be slow on such day even for Michelin-star restaurants (!?) etc etc, and in the end, SHOUTED to our face " Ask us to remove the service charge, if you want!" (!!!) ... Is he ordering us??? It was simply appalling. The food is truly great and we loved the restaurant for a number of years, but we will never come back again. DISSAPOINTED FROM HEART.

We booked a table for our wedding anniversary. From the moment we got there we was rushed from start to finish. We wanted a really nice night considering it was a special occasion. We had ordered and eaten within 30 minutes. And then felt like we wasn't welcome after that so left. The food was absolutely awful. The only nice dish was the pork belly but everything else was inedible, the seabass was disgusting and tasted funny and me and my husband woke up the next day with a dodgy stomach. Will not return even if we was paid to.

Absolutely first class tapas - delicious. Great selection of food and wine. There are a few tables outside which are lovely for a summer lunch or early supper sitting looking at the marina. Inside is very pleasant too - they have extended the dining area since I was last there about 18 months ago which has improved the acoustics.

Thoroughly recommended!
